FrankDimitri Posted January 26, 2022 Report Posted January 26, 2022 (edited) Hello fellow players of ECRP. I have been thinking a lot about my suggestion and have read up on other areas where they may need improvement and in my eyes this would be quite a simple feature to implement. Have you been on the pier and some crazy lunatic comes up with CityBee, accidently takes one of your dear friends out, You go up to your friend ((spend ages trying to remember how to carry, store, unstore bodies)) and your friend dies? Wouldn't it be great if you could buy an in-store bandage in which it doesn't increase your health but stops the "bleeding" (HP lost whilst incapacitated) and stabilizes the player giving you time to actually take them to the hospital or for the medic to arrive? The affects of the bandage can last up to 5 minutes (simulating them becoming dirty) and once those 5 minutes are up then the bleeding begins again (causing the HP to slowly decrease as it usually would) At this time the helping player can re-apply the bandage and the 5 minutes starts again. This would be useful for Police too when they have had an active shootout and they need to stabilize a suspect before EMS arrives which is policy for the officer who is involved in the shooting to attempt saving the life of the individual. I hope this would be a massive help to the city and us BLS certified folk. I am open to feedback and any other suggestions on this topic. Many thanks, Frank. dvdcostin06 Posted January 27, 2022 Report Posted January 27, 2022 +1, this idea is beneficital to everybody without a downside attached to it Quote
Jett_J Posted January 27, 2022 Report Posted January 27, 2022 Isn't this exactly what the /cpr command does? If you pay for your medical license and do the course you have access to the /cpr command that extends the life of people in the downed state. Quote

Even if it does, people usually do not get medical/first aid training while this idea gives the chance for everyone to be able to apply simple bandage on the wound. I personally like the idea, especially the fact that it does not heal, which would have been my concern, but just stops bleeding. I would even add, as there is the /cpr option, that there would be some randomizer and there would be chance of failing to stop the bleeding. But yeh, love the idea! Quote
Stanley Ipkiss Posted January 28, 2022 Report Posted January 28, 2022 definitely a great idea frank, as it would mean that everyone had a chance to help not just those with bls training Quote
dominykas Posted January 29, 2022 Report Posted January 29, 2022 -1, like mentioned above this suggestion is exactly what the command /cpr does... Quote

dominykas Posted January 29, 2022 Report Posted January 29, 2022 (edited) Before commenting on other peoples responses you should understand yourself by implementing such a suggestion it could have a negative effect on those who have worked hard for their BLS license. By adding these into the game it could make the BLS courses / license unnecessary. Instead of not allowing people to voice their opinion consider all possibilities and possible flaws. Before you take it to heart just saying it's a possibility it could have a negative effect. Edited January 29, 2022 by dominykas Quote
