After Playing as a character who is a coroner for a few days iv got major issue with it and think this RP can be made better and make it a job that people would want to play!
Issue 1
Problem:
Not enough Body's. In 10 hours of being a coroner I got maybe 3 or 4 calls, one of them not being anywhere near the call. You make no money and no one knows that you can call a coroner in the first place.
Solution:
so for the first part of the issue there we want to make the jobs happen more often. So that can be done 2 ways. 1 Make your own new body! No not killing people but making prescripted body's that will spawn and the job offer will be given to a single coroner(i say single so it can't be takes by others and it so when they look at request they see real people request and they see request 1 request every so often that's an AI body's. This is to give work for the coroners even when there are no real body's around. ), Now when it comes too these body's they can be empty so people still fill the need still to go for real ones if looting the dead is someone's thing.
That's one way, now another approach could be of the automatically reporting body's after 30 mins since the last time some one has RPed(/me’s or /do’s) near it or interacted with it. To ensure the Coroner doesn't 3rd party with body's that have been killed and or may still be used in RP. with that in mind we should set the decay timer from 1 hour to 3 hours instead. This is to give a higher chance for a coroner too be called or for someone to find and interact with including people like cops that want to investigate a body and for coroners to be able to do proper RP around doing their job.
Now for the second part, Increase the pay too 1K a body, its sounds like a lot but for people who just want to RP as a coroner it should be sustainable but not too much. With both of these changes it will make the RP of a coroner a more enjoyable experience and make for a job people will actually want too do.
Issue 2
Problem:
Coroner Vehicle AFK Timer! Too short and should not be a thing. Iv had an experience where i went on a coroner call and did a bunch of RP of collecting there items and bagging the body and then finding Illegal items and calling cops and RP with the cop to give them some RP around the body then bagging the body and putting it in the car and as i was about to get in the vehicle for it to just disappear with the body and everything on them. To leave me with nothing and stranded. It really felt like the AFK timer encourages FAST lackluster RP over meticulous RP.
Solution:
Instead there should be a system of if the person who pulled it out is near the coroner Work vehicle then the Vehicle shouldn't disappear OR give an vehicle AFK timer notification that shows up twice and you have to do math or move it else it goes poof. The second suggestion is not one I'd like but it would be better than what it is currently.
