Make things "bearable" or less "unbearable" for the mortal crims

I think you are completely misunderstanding what I am saying. No one's asking you to get more cops on your ass, I'm simply mentioning that if there are more criminals, PD will have to deal with multiple situations at once thus making it impossible to unify all of their online members to chase one car. -

I don't want to sidetrack from the point of this thread but I understand completely what you're saying, it is true. My point is that criminals should have a bit of a numbers advantage despite the fact that it's unrealistic, this is not to ensure that every time PD pulls someone over 30 people pull up, but to ensure that PD are busy enough to be unable to deploy 10+ people for a minor chase. Either bring more crims in the server or reduce the amount of police (or cheeky unban wave 3ramiz) -

I hear that and I also agree with you that staff don't try banning people unless there's no other option. Breaking the rules happens to most players especially if you've played for a long time - accidents/honest mistakes can happen. DSO/toxicity is not an accident/honest mistakes and players who actively engage in these activities should not be unbanned A cheeky unban wave would motivate alot of players including myself to come back to the server and sharpen the edge of the crim side of the server -

No I'm being dead serious, that would probably triple the amount of criminals online + give other players motivation to play + make PD less OP indirectly -

I think the clear problem is that there is not enough criminals in proportion to PD to balance it out. I have been on the losing side of this debate for years and I can say that it does get really fucking frustrating getting harassed by police daily, with no chance of escape. - The clear solution is a cheeky unban wave - balance the player base -

"More and more Crims are shooting first and asking questions later." - I would disagree entirely. I would actually argue that during this stage of the server there has actually never been a time before where criminals have had to exercise so great of a caution before shooting, which I believe personally holds a duality of +s and -s as a criminal due to new rules. "If weapons, Things that can already be ordered, but in a decently large amount, such as Pistols, No special weapons or heavies unless it's offered by the Cartel specifically in return for recovering the goods. Or just make it Ammo, Kevlar, and Attachments." - I would agree here, I don't see the point in handing out weapons such as snipers in a small quantity. Perhaps something with practical usage apart from just shooting such as discounted import prices for all things including guns, ammunition, lysergic, tear gas, and potentially other items such as plants and vehicles. Either way I think we can all agree a reward for something like this would need to be unique. "If you can figure out a way to account for Lag and C0ing, and then the fact that people play this server like a game of Search and Destroy on Afghan, Then perhaps there's be more support." - Fighting has always been one of the pillars of this server, people pretend for some reason that it has not been, but it is. Of course, it is secondary to roleplay however fighting is fun and can only be done correctly when the sufficient RP incentives provide the opportunity for it. Not to mention, it is not only criminals who enjoy to fight but very evidently legal factions too, who are much more S&D focused than any criminals I have ever seen. I believe Rainbow Six Siege would be a good analogy. I am arguing that this is not necessarily a bad thing for crims or cops, provided the RP incentive is there, we're all here to have fun. "What's the incentive to follow Cartel rules here? None." - Unfortunately, I would argue that Cartel's role in the server has become essentially non-existent, this is a roleplay server, and I have never roleplayed with any member of Cartel on my 4 or so years on this server. It seems as if they are an OOC organisation in it's entirety and serve no IC purpose apart from meeting up with official factions and providing vague instructions on certain things. Perhaps this is intentionally done to minimize their intervention in roleplay scenarios, but again I would say this is a roleplay server, and I don't see the reason to ruin IC immersion for something which could very easily be done whilst remaining OOC. If they were actually around with a strong presence in the server, backed by the biggest gangs in the city as they are supposed to be, then perhaps other factions would follow Cartel rules and actually fear them, instead of having 4 people dressed in black saying a couple of words every 2-3 months. Again, this is strictly speaking from my experience with Cartel and I understand other players may have less/more encounters with them, but regardless an utterly minimal level of presence and IC interactions does not make roleplaying fun, and clearly shows why there is 0 incentive to follow Cartel rules. For most criminals, they provide absolutely nothing on an IC level. An event like this would allow Cartel to revive their presence in the city and let criminals have a chance to actually roleplay with them imo, however every week is a bit too often, perhaps 2-3 weeks. Overall +1, I like this suggestion.

I'll keep this short. For crims, PD and SD is out of control, we got PD spinning labs arresting people for the most bullshit reasons, to give an example is getting arrested for 'trespassing', searching all vehicles for no reason, dogs that can sniff your guns out for NO reason. There is simply no way to avoid PD when you get 4 3 stacked bulletproof STXs, 3 scouts, 2 BF's, a jugular and a swat Kamacho on you because you pulled a fast turn, it's just ridiculous and stupid. In the community discussion it was mentioned that PD is 'bored', because there's not much to do, the reason being is that there are NO situations to respond to because it is impossible to fight anywhere without PD pulling up, you can't drive more then 2 stacked or you will be pulled over and searched for a made-up reason. You can't do anything about it because even if they're pulling you over for a stupid reason that's IC, but the REASON they're doing it (SPECIFICALLY OUTSIDE LABS, LIKE LSD/GARBAGE) is because they know that a 4 stack Kamacho/Scout/Jugular with players who are well known criminals WILL have heavies on them and will result in a 'fun' shootout/chase. Kick Half of PD/SD, there aren't close to as much criminals as there were 1 year ago, PD has been massively buffed with all the gun updates and extra ammo, it is impossible to escape PD when you have 4 stack STX's shooting you. It would be fine if you did some major crime, but 10 cruisers and a heli for a 'trespassing' charge, or a reckless? It's just ridiculous. Stop pushing criminals out of the server, making people grind 2 hours in labs to get some heavies only to lose them in 3 mins to some PD circling around LSD/Braddocks looking for 3/4 stack cars to pull over knowing DAMN WELL (OOCLY) that they have heavies. The maximum number of people you will see in one gang on your average day is about 10. 3 years ago it was 100 yet the numbers have not been adjusted for PD, in fact, they have increased.

+1 - Free the guys Cheating, DSO, Ban Evading should be out of the question, however I think bans like DM and NonRP are honestly very common as people do make mistakes, I know some good RPers that contributed a lot to the server that got banned because of 2 DM's, and I know some terrible RPers who should have been banned from the get-go. Those who really do not want to play the server are those who evade, those who cheat and those who DSO, the rest are all just people who made mistakes.

I agree, I also see a valid point in many of these threads is to increase the sort of competition and activity around the actual labs, apart from them being a place to rob people/get robbed. Maybe make the actual tables in the labs MUCH faster then tables that can be imported, with ingredients required being a lot less. This would not only allow more competition in labs and actual gang wars to start but illegal money to be made efficiently too. For those complaining about needing a big operation to actually make money realistically, maybe include some drugs with higher price points needing imported ingredients.
