Diddern started following Racing Script changes , banned and Modded Vehicle Feedback
-
Vehicle Name: Government Buzzard Type of Feedback: Visual/performance Feedback Notes: The government buzzard has a new set of doors added. These doors are not compatible with gunner functionality. First of all, in the LSPD faction we only use scoped precision rifles from the side of the helicopter. Meaning that we rely on our ADS(first person scoping), however when aiming you can only aim through third person. On the rear pilot side seat your camera is massively colliding with vehicle components and causing your aiming experience to be compromised. On the rear passenger side it is better, however still unable to ADS(aim-down-sight). Rear pilot side gunner pov Rear passenger side gunner pov Expected behavior both sides

Yeah This way ppl can hold records in multiple vehicles and it gets rid of unnecessary lap times. If I do 3 similar laps in one car, only the best time should display for that car. If I do another 3 laps in a different car, it should display that top, time too.
-
I think it still should display multiple top lap times from one player with different cars. Just want the duplicate lap times to be removed, it clogs up the leaderboard so much.
-
Make it so the leaderboard only displays the best attempt of each driver+car. This way we avoid having multiple similar lap times clogging the leaderboards. In this example you would have gotten rid of 4th, 5th, 6th lap time.

Diddern started following Repair/Reset gun durability and Decision Appeals
-
Repair/Reset gun durability I am one of many players that have suffered from the gun decay system. Whether you're a newer criminal character that have bought second hand guns prior to the update that introduced a way to see maximum perfect condition, or a returning criminal character that has maintained their guns whilst not active. Proposed change As a way to resolve this, I propose that we introduce a durability gain of 80-100% back on all guns to accommodate for the previously very confusing script. Why it should be repaired During the time that decay has been implemented you would have to repair your guns twice in order for them not to fall into the lowest durability range. The previous 50% reduction of the maximum perfect condition was changed to 10%, therefore people that repaired previously twice, to keep your guns from reaching minimum durability suffer a 80% decrease in their weapons maximum perfect condition. Rare guns are now basically rendered useless, people that have maintained these guns suffer from maintaining it, rather than the ones that have had them locked away forever. People that bought guns second hand that was already repaired had no way to track the current state of the maximum perfect condition that the weapon was in. Making newer criminal characters suffer a substantial loss. When the script was first implemented there was a lack of clarity and explaining of how it worked. The people that followed the conversation in #general was mislead by the very limited information given to us. I included the initial proposal of gun durability and decay in the quote below (this is not all the messages as #general is typically filled with spam) Whilst I do realize that anything said in #general in ecrp discord is not official. Very little information has actually been provided and the little information that has been provided has been very misleading. In the picture below you can see one Combat MG MK2 that I have maintained during my time away as an LEO main vs one that I never maintained. Left=maintained, Right= never maintained before today. I do believe the script we currently have in place would work great with gun decay. The previous ideas was very good, however with the changes and misunderstanding there has been a lot of people that has suffered. Please read through and let me know of your thoughts.

When the script was implemented I believe there was a lack of insight and explanation of how it worked. The reason we'd like insight or change is that after a few updates to the weapon decay. Myself and several others who have been returning to criminal roleplay that had these stashes now suffer from owning guns with a maximum perfect condition of 5-10% and being punished for actually keeping these guns and maintaining them. I personally repaired my whole stash twice during my period as a LEO only player spending several hundreds of thousands just to keep my guns until I could return to criminal roleplay. I followed the discussion regarding weapon decay and how the script would work in #general when Paulius first started talking about it. From that conversation it was wrote in such a way that made it seem like as long as you maintained your guns, it shouldn't be an issue. I tried my best to get the relevant messages in #general when this first was proposed (while I do understand this was a discussion in #general chat and not anything officially to do with #development, this has been very misleading, specially with the lack of clarity provided in relation to how the script works). Please review how the weapon repairing script works or possibly reinstate 50-80% maximum perfect condition to all guns. In my case, I have lost 80% maximum condition as I repaired my guns prior to the change below: Insight on how this works or even confirmation would be highly appreciated.

Cap server FPS to 120 or add a 220 Speed cap
Diddern replied to Jay_Valentino's topic in Game Suggestions
Less FPS=more flickering to the eyes. If you've ever played on a high refresh rate display I'm sure you'd understand. I recently upgraded from 240->480hz display and its like looking through a window and not onto a computer screen. I can clearly tell the difference in fps. -
Cap server FPS to 120 or add a 220 Speed cap
Diddern replied to Jay_Valentino's topic in Game Suggestions
120 fps looks horrible. Im all for minimizing the performance gain on vehicles, but limiting peoples viewing/performance any further is a horrible idea. If you've ever tried playing on a high refresh rate monitor, you'd get eye strain going back to low refresh rate. -
The modifications was the main concern.

This is not a server side bug, it is faster than it should be. the car has an advanced handling flag called «hard_rev_limit» which causes these gear swaps at low revs ultimately causing the car to top out at a lower speed. Currently the «hard_rev_limit» flag behaves weird on the server as it allows for a higher top speed than usual, but still caps out at around 220. The cars affected by this flag can be found HERE . The Sultan RS classic on this list was hard capped at 194 previously, prior to latest update I have been hitting 220 in it.
