Before I start, This is not a salt post, It is my opinion, that seems to be widely shared. I believe that staff members that are in a gang/faction, or affiliated with a gang/faction should not deal with issues that arise from circumstances directly involved with the gang/faction they are affiliated with. This cuts down on any rumours/allegations of certain staff doing stuff to benefit the gang/faction they are apart of, and helps remove some tension from other players who believe this to be the case. It would benefit the server as a whole, as an unbiased set of eyes would be looking at the evidence/situation at hand, and would also encourage better levels of RP, currently some members will report 4 or report 3, just because things did not go the way they like, I think this should also be punishable for repeat offenders, as it does nothing to enhance the quality of RP or relations within the server amongst gangs/factions, and does nothing but waste staff time. As mentioned, this is only to try and make the server a better place - Where there are conflicts of interest within RL situations, scenarios, that conflict of interest is removed, and I do not think it should be any different here, It would only make it be a more fairer system, for all involved, and removes any tensions that may arise.

The Vehicle rule I agree with, Same as changing that if someone is stood in front of your car pointing a gun, You should be allowed to run them over, Let's face it, Regardless of my car, In RL If someones stood in front of my car aiming a gun at me, depending how close they are, I'm hitting the accelerator and ducking below the dashboard - I'm running that person over, It's unrealistic to think you would just get out and go "Hey, feel free to rob me, and potentially kill me" - Whats mroe realistic here? From what I understand, If someone robs you, you have upto 3 IRL hours to be able to retaliate, I may be wrong, but that seems to be how it works - So the DM rule change I dont feel would be valid. And, yes if someone is in compliance, You should still be able to kill them, depending on the situation, a normal street robbery, would be pointless to kill someone, but if they are identifiably in a gang, sure you should be able to shoot em up after, because you can bet yourself they are going to find you later otherwise. For what it's worth, I robbed someone once, and killed them, they did everything I asked, but I still killed them, why? Because he told me I was making a mistake, he was in a big gang, and he would get me later... The guy threatened me while I had him at gunpoint... So I killed him

I got 8 hours for interfering with a chase... Here you are saying 8 hours is only possible for murdering a couple of officers... 1, Granted it's against the law, end of, but being tailed for 20 minutes and pulled over every time, that is just short of harrassment, you ticketed me once, go solve some real crimes? 2,4, 5 I was pulled over, not told why, all I got was license? - Heres your ticket... 3, So your not required to tell me what I am going jail for? Untill I am in jail? Like no officer ever has took me to jail then gave me a chance to rp the charges... So that contradicts you there 6, Was used loosely as a metaphor, I'll dumb it down... PD rarely ever ever want to give anyone a chance to RP there crimes or charges, Just outright cuffs/jail with a couple /me's /do's thrown in there aka (Shoot first not ask questions later) In regards to IA reports, there's enough ex PD around that tells people IA is just basically ignored and at most you get a slap on the wrist... It's a complete waste of time, regardless if an officer loses his job or not, and some of it is criminal, but not followed up on, I havent yet seen an officer sent to prison for corruptness while on-duty...

Definately need a Justice system here, With such long jail times, Stacking charges etc... Other servers have it, and it works really well, If anything it brings RP and bridges the gap between PD and Criminals, you would see a lot less hate posts, considering the PG rule states others should be able to RP a response, Criminals are robbed of that the moment they are in cuffs... I'm aware your not speaking for IA, and nor is this an IA report, but why should I waste my time filling in an IA, when in-game, asking to speak with a higher up over stuff, they are generally antagonising and rude (Only spoke with 2)... From those two interactions alone, and the fact all the officer will get is a "Warning"... I'm not going to get back 8 hours of my life (4 -6 Once charges are dropped), That time is gone, I could have been earning 5k every 15 minutes from the mine, that's an easy 100k over that time period (Possible not saying I would though)... Or been rp'ing... I may or may not get those charges dropped, and honestly I mean no offense, Your own take on that is biased, your looking at what I did wrong, not what the officer did wrong, then swinging it around to effectively say "Shit happens, you were involved"... Seeing someone leave a scene of a crime doesn't mean they were involved. And considering the guy they chased from the situation was arrested, from the same crime, he literally got evading that was it... 45 minutes in jail, My passenger got 15 minutes... Me, I got 8 hours.... That's why i'm pissed, that's why I know they stacked charges, and all PD will do, Is just blow it off... Charge stacking needs to be a rule, or they need to incorporate a justice system - One bad day for an officer, could ruin 10 peoples experience here. Same for other factions, except they can't "Jail" someone for multiple hours, They can't trace phones, they have to work and RP situations, PD just roll up, expect to put you in cuffs, and cart you to jail for a long ass time.... That is the fine line as to why people have not got much respect for PD these days, and why they expect RP to be 10x better than everyone else, every server, the police are the front of the server and should act / behave like so

By stacking charges.... I was charged with attempted murder on a government official, A part that was deemed invalidRP by an admin, So I shouldn't have been charged for it... Knife charge - Was added on just because they wanted to keep me in for longer, It had nothing to do with the crime, Wasn't used in any threatening circumstances, Just had it on me. Assault with a deadly weapon - Apparantly I was consistently ramming officers with my vehicle, which I didn't, But I was charged for it Armed Robbery - There was no proof I even did this, and there was others wearing the exact same outfits (Until I showed my video on the report) I can understand the Interfering with justice, felony invasion etc... And let me get this straight, If I do a crime, or anyone does a crime, It's fair game to go to jail, and no ones asking for "Leniency" - But when BS charges are added on, and no allowance to RP charges, and pure denial to even be told your charges, because they know they added some BS charges on, That isn't on! - Again, I do a crime, do the time... But I just listed 4 charges up there, that shouldn't be there - The officer offered to "Compensate" the day after but that was only the fines, what about the 4 hours + I lost due to him abusing this fact? As said in the report, I'd rather deal with people breaking NRP constantly and Low-key metagaming than deal with officers who stack charges, putting you in a position that you can't rp any of it, and can't even play with your friends, all because he had a bad day? And your response, No offense, Is exactly why people don't trust the IA report process - It is a two way street, and believe me, When I'm in jail I try and RP with the guards (Strip dances when changing etc) just to make it fun - But it's hard to RP with an officer who won't listen to reason, or give you chance to explain why some stuff has been done? A RL Scenario - Your walking down the street, See an old lady get mugged and a kid knocked over, you intervene and beat the shit out of the guy who done it, He clearly needs to learn some respect, Police turn up and arrest you for assault - You broke the law, But the officers in RL would give you a lesser sentence due to the circumstances, Or let you off - Here, You get charges stacked without being told...

Sure, against my better judgement - Apparantly this report is purely IC Issues Failed to tell me my charges until AFTER I had served 8 hours, Stacked charges, Even put it down to "Poor" Police work, Regardless of the outcome people can see for themselves. And as most of the others have said here, No one has faith in the IA Reports - That sheriff should be let go of PD, and anyone else who "Stacks" charges or fails to give another a chance to RP Charges

How about consistently tailing someone and pulling them over every 20 seconds to give them a ticket for going 5km/h over the limit? The lack of RP'ing charges given The lack of telling people their charges The consistency of stacking charges for the sake of it The lack of RP at a traffic stop The current attitude of shoot first, dont ask later... There is a lot wrong, as the main faction representing the server, the quality of RP is literally zero

So be better criminals... Pinging our phone numbers which you didn't get IC... Sure, Switch off the phone I guess... Stacking charges to keep people in jail longer - Corrupt, Not dealt with in an OOC level Truth is, there is hate with the cops atm, They should be setting the standard for the servers RP, and not just chasing/ramming/shooting shit, get someone in cuffs, don't RP their charges, and just slam them in prison. I've had two or three Interactions with officers which were good, the rest has all been one-sided with no chance to RP charges etc, I'm lucky if they even tell me what they are... And they are the ones arresting people

Theres a good program on Steam called Driver Booster, It's actually really good for updating drivers

Just to clarify, He wasn't talking about resetting, but re-installing Windows, It would probably work, but not very helpful here... And yes, uninstall and re-install your GPU driver - Restart your laptop after uninstalling, and do a clean install

How would this help other than losing potential files etc that you may not wish to lose? and waste time re-installing? I mean, It would solve it short term, but then it could be a faulty driver, which a re-install wouldn't help, as the problem would persist even after

Adware, Is in effect a tracking cookie for adverts (How do you think Microsoft sends you adverts that are relevant, Or searched for something a few days ago and it just randomly pops up as an advert... That's Adware) - However, Some forms can be malicous yes, disguised as adware. Did the problems occur before or after a recent GPU driver update? - It is worth investigating that, If it was after, I would recommend uninstalling your GPU driver, and doing a fresh clean install of the driver, If it doesn't work you can rule that out.

Okay - Run Malwarebytes - It's not an anti-virus and will find things anti-virus programs won't, Malware ccleaner is a good program it helps keeps things tidy and removes Junk that you yourself wouldn't neccesarily find Have you looked at windows game mode? Windows DVR? etc... Shadowplay should be fine then, if you are just recording set parts, but don't run multiple recording stuff at the same time. Specs seem fine, although Low on RAM. GPU driver updates, can sometimes cause problems, Instead of doing an express installation when updating, always run custom and perform a clean install, Nvidia aren't great when updates come out. So yes this could be a cause, although not necessarily (Depends was it fine before your last update? and did it start after updating? If so then high cause it is your issue

Hi @Korab_Bagadovic What are your laptop specs? Did you buy the laptop brand new? What surface do you have the laptop on when you play? Laptops have a tendency to overheat, windows has a built-in throttle when this happens, It runs in two stages - First stage is to slow applications down, second stage is to power off. When it slows applications down it can cause your game to "Freeze/lag" etc. The thermal paste wouldn't be an issue here, If you bought the laptop brand new, If it was second hand then yes it could be - Another alternative is that the cooling fans have collected dust, There isn't much room inside a laptop for airflow either, which is why I ask what kind of surface your playing on, An open table is going to provide better cooling than laying on your bed. If it isn't a cooling issue, then you may perhaps have malware on your Laptop - I would recommend downloading a trial version of malwarebytes here: https://www.malwarebytes.com/ This is not an anti-virus, don't confuse it - Malware is designed to bloat up your system - Viruses are a different kettle of fish, but I would run a scan for viruses aswell. Second port of call would be to download ccleaner here: https://www.ccleaner.com/ - This is a great free program that can help de-clutter your laptop/pc - After deleting junk files, browser history/cookies etc, you can also clean up your registry, It is recommended to make a backup of your registry before deleting anything (I never do, and never had issues) however, it is at your own discretion, not mine to make this back-up. After running those two programs, do a virus scan with your chosen anti-virus - Avast, AVG, Kaspersky etc. If after doing all that, and you are still experiencing issues, then the other alternative is windows own background processes etc. I would look at windows game bar, and disabling that, along with windows game mode (You actually get more FPS disabling windows game mode, however it may help if your having issues ). Depending on your recording software you use, I would recommend turning off shadowplay or AMD's equiv if you have them and don't use them, PlaysTV can also slow you down quite a bit and uses a lot of resources, personally I use OBS Studio - But again these all use extra resources, Hence why I was asking your system specs, to record and play at the same time, It's recommended to have around 16gb of Ram. I say this with relative experience, I have my own community for gaming, and often help people choose parts etc for custom builds, fix and build desktops/laptops, I am also a programmer and server administrator - With your OP, It is hard to assume what the problem is, so if you reply after trying these things, and they didn't help, I would be happy to help you further if possible, but will need more information.

Gangsters don't get involved in petty crime... Gangsters are Criminal Organisations that own and do stuff, They take out the opposition or sort it through diplo means, They don't run around screaming "Hands up"... And literally today, A Rook tells me to send them a screenshot of something, So I go looking for the screenshot to send them, I bled out, Got a barrage of PM's saying I'm being reported for not RP'ing, While looking for the screenshot they asked me to send them... Can't have it both ways, Either you want the screenshot, and your "Pause" RP, or you don't want a screenshot and want to rp

Just gotta say... Rooks do it, at the bank Zeta do it, behind the bank, but sit on the border It's not just Russian Mafia... Also there seems to be a huge culture in people trying to put others in situations where they try to bait them to break rules, or the amount of times someone speaks out in OOC chat during RP, or rushing the "Robbery" - "Hands Up Hands Up"... "Stop stalling" - We don't all have hotkeys that can cut and paste commands instantly, that's not very realistic.... Criminal RP is pretty poor, Like hardly anyone has any ingenuity or fresh ideas, other than to roll around, baiting and/or screaming hands up... It's almost as bad as Cops PG'ing to put you in jail, refusing to listen to any story you may come up with, and/or adding on more charges that are irrelevant but they just want to put you in jail as long as possible... Not had many interactions with the triads, But Zeta and rooks seem to just want to clap people, steal there stuff and chop it, That's not exactly "Gangster" stuff...

After watching the local inhabitants of this city, I began to realise that narcotics were a hot market here, that and the wealth of the people here, I was beginning to get sick of sleeping in my car under the highway, so I ventured out of the city a bit further and came across an abandoned boatyard. There were some work benches here and ingredients, so I set to work trying to figure out what each recipe concoction would make, I discovered Ecstasy just as some wildlife turned up... The following footage was captured of the interaction, luckily for these fools, they let me go unscathed....

So today... I got a sentence of 140 months for: Attempted Murder on 2 officers, Assaulting an Officer with a lethal, Threats to kill an officer, evading, resisting and Grand theft auto. $9000 Fine Once released, I go to the impound to get my car, and hold up, I got outstanding "Warrants", for camera tickets, my sentence: 80 months for two speeding offences, $6500 fine Once released, I asked for my legal stuff back, Bag, GPS, etc etc - I was told no, An officer starts getting cocky, I ask to speak with a higher up, He's just as cocky... Then I get charged for trespassing in the police station... Disturbance of peace etc, By this point, Im pretty pissed off both IRL and ind in-game... So if im gonna be charged for trespassing on public property (Gov owned with public access, and disturbance of peace, when the most RP interaction I've had all day, Is cops One-sided RP and tasing me in the cells) when all I wanted is my stuff back), I then assault them both. I get sent to prison again for a total of 160 months for: Assaulting two officers, Disturbance of peace, Tresspassing, and 2 or 3 other made up charges, with a fine of $12k.... So, I can do crimes of a worse nature, get a smaller ticket and less time, but two officers who are pissed off, can rack up made up charges against me, until I do retaliate, whack me in prison for a stupidly long time, and whack my fine price up, all because the way they spoke to me, caused me to get aggravated.... I can see why this server doesn't get many members compared to the others. I've read the posts about "How it would take too long to write up a law document" or to "Regulate" the police, the reality is, It's plain laziness from whoever deals with the police, I was read my rights and told I had the right to an attorney, I asked for one, they refused then re-read my rights, and said I only had the right to remain silent!. Yes, I was getting abusive, but cop RP from what I have seen, Is somewhat sub par, OP and one-sided - It doesn't matter what anyone says for defence, your going jail, It doesn't matter if you've just been a victim of torture or kidnap, your being left alone in the middle of nowhere, because "They are not a taxi service"... They would rather waste 10 minutes watching you, to wait for you to jump in the one open car to drive back to civilisation and nick you to send you to jail, than spend 2 minutes driving you to the nearest hospital... I don't really care if you hate on this or not, but as a new player, and I'm reading about "Realism" and see how strict admins are with rules etc etc, I am thoroughly surprised at the huge oversight or over look of the police force on this server, for every 10 cops I meet, I havent come across one yet that would accept any form of RP reason as to why a crime was committed or denial of it. In all honesty, I don't think I will be playing here too long, I like the server, but the police force, the main faction, Is wayyyyyyyyy too OP and is a law amongst themselves, Ramming vehicles all over the place, solo cops trying to rambo it when surrounded, making up sentences.... I've spent the best part of 6 hours in prison today, consecutively, with little RP, little Interaction, nothing to do in jail, other than mining for what? - Most of you will say "Just don't do crime" - but 6 hours because officers just whack extra little things on here and there... That's really really stupid, 6 hours of recordings and Im lucky if I got an hours conversation, RP is really really poor from cops. That's all, agree dis-agree I dont care, but the admins here really should get some sort of structure in place to manage the cops here.

I came to this City after being outrun from my old gang, No more do I have the power I once had, no more do I have the final say on things!. At first, I thought I would keep my head low and find a job in the mines, to come out of the tunnels after a long hard days work, finding the issi I had worked so hard for all smashed up and written off, after a short debate, It was a case of mistaken identity for a previous incident, however this angered me, resurfacing some old feelings of seeking revenge.... After a few bottles of vodka down by the canals, I calmed myself down, and went for a walk, it took me two days to stumble across a camp, It was full of hippies smoking weed, they shown me how to turn the plant into marijuana, and wanted to help me chill out. And this is where it went wrong, people started screaming and running away as four cars and two motorbikes, all a shade of blue rolled up, amidst the fear and the screaming, I was caught by these people, They were brutal, they shaved my hair, cut off one of my finges and forced me to eat it, while pointing AK's in my face and screaming demands that I knew not what they wanted or meant!. They knew I was new to the city, but did not care, they took all of my belongings and destroyed it, leaving me with open wounds, leaving me to die! And this is when I knew, I just knew I had to venture to my old life once again, I was fortunately found by a smoking hippie, who called a medic, they took me to hospital and helped me recover, but they couldn't heal that burning desire for revenge, they couldn't save my finger, and nor could they make my hair grow back faster.... A few days later I was given a gun, from some guy round the back of the bank, He told me to see it as a business investment, So short of cash, and full of anger, I went to a local convenience store and held the shop clerk up, grabbing what cash I could, I thought I would be in and out, when, as luck had it, some officers decided to pull up to get their fill of donuts, they caught me red-handed, and refused to listen to a word I said, they took me straight to the states jail, where I was left alone, with no food or water, the corrupt guard had taken my meal tickets for the week, I was forced to eat the worms I could find in the yard when it rained - Survival, It's not a stranger to me!. I was released some months later, and made it back to the city, A group took me under their wing, showed me how they do things, taught me to fish, to make money legitamately, Yet this desire for revenge was burning harder, 140 months, for a crime because I needed to eat, a finger lost because I was in the wrong place at the wrong time... This city had got to me, It had awoken Night... I am the darkness you won't see, The darkness you can't catch, I have no morales and will get these guys back any way I can, They won't even know it's me.... I won't be caught.

Sorry to dig up an old post... From what I have seen on this server, The cops unfortunately have a majority that just want to put anyone in prison, for anything they can. The RP is minimal, with some outright ignoring a citizen. Criminals, Generally acknowledge you, but again, unless you know them, the RP is minimal, unless ofc they are robbing you, and if so - The RP is one sided, always... Similar to cops! I had a cop stand in the middle of our group on his own with a shotgun raised, while we have 2 in front and 1 behind with guns at him, telling him to drop it, He didn't, He just stood there barking orders, as if his life wasn't at threat.... Where was the fear RP there? I've attempted to rp why I was robbing a store (Saying there was someone opposite the shop with an AK) - Cops didn't even check it just said - "We saw you robbing it, your going jail, tough luck mate, your never getting a firearms license now... lol).... Stuff like that, Is one-sided, I can't get a legal firearm, so now Im forced to buy one illegally to defend myself, If I don't I get robbed constantly, never making bank, Can't call the cops, cus my battery's always taken, spend a couple hours walking around, because my map and gps have been taken too... So the cops still have the power and authority on this server to kill someones chances on here, not to mention most the cops have a "Cousin" that does crime in one of the bigger gangs, You happen to upset one, and you get it both ways... Cops just dis-armed me legally for life, Criminals are now free to rob, kidnap, harass me as much as they want with no penalty, unless I "Break the law" to be able to defend myself, just so I can do some fishing/mining etc.... It limits the gameplay 10x when this happens, I'm now stuck where my character has to do crime, just to make bank, by involving himself with gangs. (Probably would have happened at some point, but not in the first 3 days of trying to figure stuff out)... So, I fully support this, there needs to be a law system (This is probably the only RP server I ever played where there isn't some sort of laws defined and no way to argue it / petition it). Just my two cents

Bud it was NOT equipped, Like it shouldn't have even been showing, but it was, Heres atwo short vids to show. As you can see - The gun shouldn't even be showing, It was in my invent not equipped, If I have a crate in there, It doesn't sit on my back telling everyone I have a crate there, Hence why I thought this was a texture bug glitch. I tried RP'ing that I had a puffer jacket on, so they couldn't see it, not accepted, I told em it was hidden not accepted, called an admin who said unless I had proof of a /do hides gun, Cops can meta, I mean, not my fault it shows like that, when I haven't got it equipped

50 minutes + 15 for beating the officer up in prison... 65 Minutes not needed had I known that they could actually see it, In rl you can hide a weapon, I had a puffer jacket on and baggy trousers, would have easily hidden it, Whatever, I didn't know, Now I do - 65 minutes wasted by learning about something that isn't mentioned. As for me thinking it was buggy textures, I come from Arma RP, so loadsa bugs, hence why i thought that.

I thought it was meant to be tucked into the trousers, and under the top - That's what it looks like, CLearly I was wrong, It doesn't say anything anywhere about it...
