  1. Your turnover is taxed, not your profit, this means you need to compensate with the gas price to the public to run a successful business. At $8 retail you're making $4.000 selling 20.000 liters.

You can use the image below to check it, the calculations are quite simple. (This is exactly why it is beyond me why people would sell at $8, you're running a business, not a charity, you have costs, realistically beyond just importing it yourself.)

    As the tittle suggests.

It rains way too often at the current rate, in my opinion. I'd love to see it be reduced significantly.

Not much else to add to be honest.

Haha, just hurts the hotdog business huh?

But yes, it seems the script for weather, once it rains, has a hard time recovering to dry weather

  3. Robberies during daylight are very possible, but I wouldn't mind if it was prohibited to do them out in the street in front of places like Mors, not to say it should be an NCZ, very much shouldn't be, but robbers should be smarter and do it in alleyways and other "hidden" places. Sadly, as it stands, too many criminals only think about shooting and "winning" situations instead of realistic RP

  4. This is too specific imo. Driving fast? You take more risk than driving the limit. Ignoring traffic lights? More conflict points on your drive. I feel we just need people to understand that RP requires different driving from GTA Online.

If we are going to outline everything, people are always going to find the gaps. You need blanket rules like nonRP to combat this sort of behavior

  5. Apart from it being debatable if a keypress is the same as a command (typed in the chatbox unlike opening the inventory) I fully support this idea. People don't RP kneeling down, going through pockets, etc. All people do is remain standing, not even giving the victim time to type a /me while the items are being looted in the current system. The amount of times I've been on medic/police scenes with people walking up and looting (which I RP as someone kneeling over the body and taking their items) is ridiculous and if you address those players ICly, none of them realize that this would look ridiculous.

Example; Police is treating a civilian, another civilian walks up, presses "i" (leans over the body in RP I'd imagine) is asked what he is doing and takes items. As a medic you can be giving someone CPR in RP and someone suddenly walks up and takes items from the person, realistically hindering the medic from doing their job properly, endangering the life of the civilian even further, because the CPR technique was interrupted. If anyone that responded negatively here wants to warrant this as good RP, please do but in my opinion it is absolutely unacceptable and it is encouraged by the current mechanic of pressing "i" next to a downed body.  Refusal to RP (NonRP) is punishable so all players opposed shouldn't want a broken system, instead aim for punishment for the rule broken by the player, be it through ingame report or player report on the forums if no staff is able to assist at the time.

So IRL anyone can stabilise a patient to some degree if that's just holding them in place or preforming treatment. Now i know at least in the UK the police parasitically the armed police such as S015 have gone through rigorous medical training coursers and im guessing its a similar case within America. All cops have medical training and have medical equipment and can treat a patient to some extent however, due to im guessing some major issues within HR at MD there is no medics on so transporting them is impossible so it's only reasonable for a cop to deal with the RP and then have a better RP experience rather than letting everyone they see bleed out. What @Triple Seven said is totally irrelevant about if police can stabilise then medics should be able to arrest, like anyone can help tend to an injured patient not anyone can grab a pair of handcuffs detain someone legally against there will and transport them to a prison.

I agree with @inorigj PD get way to much shit its like an army driving round in insurgents and having every weapon and armour that's OP i agree PD need to 100% STOP getting stuff and need to start getting stuff reduced they have way to much and its unfair and hinders and ruins everyone's RP.

You really need to reread my post, I posted a hypothetical question and answered it with a simple: No.

  7. As said in the suggestion, removing /stabilize from PD shouldn’t affect much, the point is to have that exclusive for EMS as to not remove the faction’s purpose. PD would still be able to transport and take patients inside an area where they can be treated in a certain amount of time, if medics are not available. It happens sometimes there is no police available, should EMS have the right to charge criminals and lock them up when that’s the case? No.

The fast motorcycle IS only for fast response and would not be used for situations where there is no capacity for them. No transport will be done on them, they’re a feature update for EMS to increase versatility in RP and help EMS gain attraction. Plus in this server the hakuchou model would be most fitting judging by how many sports car the population has, the government could easily fund it based on the economy.

    • Megaphone

Give EMS vehicles a megaphone, make sure it doesn’t say “officer x” when it is used. This can help control crowds if needed.

  8. Quote

Suggestions not being implemented because there aren’t enough medics is the most counterproductive thing I can think of. It gives the EMS options and makes it more versatile and attractive.

    Said this before.

  9. To clarify: it’s to attract more medics and if there aren’t enough on duty the bike won’t be used, it would be in a ratio. We’re looking at making the EMS more attractive. Suggestions not being implemented because there aren’t enough medics is the most counterproductive thing I can think of. It gives the EMS options and makes it more versatile and attractive. People need to value their life more, you don’t need stabilize to transport as PD, you have CPR to do that, you’re not a medic and the treatment can just happen inside the hospital, the only thing that would change that you might have to hurry more because they’re still bleeding out and you have to RP taking them inside at the end of transport to take them to an area where a script does the rest.

    • Remove /stabilize from PD

The fact this was added removes from the purpose of MD, LSEMS suggests it is removed from PD for this reason and added back for off-duty medics since with their skill they would be able to improvise and use anything around them to make them stable before transport. Police have /cpr on duty to use after medical RP and can transport using that, not having them completely stable. I suggest there to be a point in MD where an officer can take an injured person and activate a script that revives the person in a few minutes, keeping them disabled during. This creates more fear for life since it would cost them more time and players are all about not wasting time currently.

    • Toggleable call list (High priority)

A list without police calls, or toggleable call list for both PD and MD where you can interact with it and choose what you see. Must not remove ingame control so it can stay up while the EMT drives to a scene and can keep an eye on the calls. An example that came with the suggestion by one of our medics @otilane

    CallList.png

    • Medic MDC

It would be real good for RP to have medics pen down allergies and blood type for patients for future reference, for that an MDC is needed. Also knowing we're dealing with felonous criminals and/or wanted ones since the LSEMS and LSPD work together closely is valuable info.

    • Toggle for cap, or cap removal.

I know NobodyLTU is proud of achieving the uniform, but as far as is known every EMT hates the cap and wants to be able to take it off or not use it.

    • Fast response vehicle

A fast response vehicle, meant for response to far away calls that don't necessarily need a helicopter, or for response in tight areas of the city where an ambulance might have trouble getting to. We propose it be the Hakuchou (normal) in the same red as the FBI2 we currently have in the LSEMS fleet.

    • Ambulance performance

Please performance upgrade the vehicles spawned for LSEMS as they are currently so incredibly slow they cannot even get to 130kph on the highway from MD, only after passing the casino, or thereabouts does it even reach the speed limit.

    • Executive vehicle for Command and High Command

This would not be for call response but supervisory tasks and background checks for courses/ride-alongs given in LSEMS. We suggest the unmarked police buffalo (ingame: FBI) in the same red as the FBI2 we currently have.

    • Make the MD roof inaccessible for any other personnel than PD and MD

Make it so the MD roof/helipad cannot be used for entry onto it by anyone but MD and PD personnel, it's not realistic that civilians just walk there. Exit from the helipad should be possible for everyone, since the patients are dropped off there.

    • Lock the door to the private areas (locker room both doors and private area with staircase and offices)

Lock the door to the private area of the hospital, not an area you would find civilians in, often found to have people go up during a CPR course for example because they see the RP and are curious to what it is. In general it needs to be lockable by MD staff, like the doors to the locker room and reception should.

  10. @JackD248 @Kay133 I think it's time you stop responding to eachother and leave eachother be, here and in other topics, without any passive aggressive comments and otherwise. Keep it constructive in a suggestion like this. Have nothing to add? Then don't post. Read it over before pressing the Submit button to make sure you're not derailing the discussion into some useless plus or minus battle.

@Triple Seven how many times IRL have you rode in a taxi where the driver is wearing a mask? How many times have you take your car to get services and the mechanic has been wearing a mask? How many times have you seen medics roaming the street with masks covering there head? And how many times have you seen a cop wearing a mask on duty? Unless its a C.A.TT or S.W.A.T Team?

I cant really say a news agency as i have never spoken to one IRL

The fact a taxi driver would never get a customer while wearing a mask doesnt mean he cant wear one in real life and if his boss doesnt like it it can be a factionrule. there is 0 reason to scriptly render someone unable to tie a mask on their face

    Description:

The Los Santos Emergency Medical Services, LSEMS for short, is stationed in Mission Row, housed in the Pillbox Hill Medical Center, an eyecatching building right on Strawberry Avenue just across the street from the Dashhound bus depot. The LSEMS provides all necessary care for the citizens of the state of San Andreas and works in close collaboration with the Los Santos Police Department.

    fcR7dw6.png

    Mission Statement:

The LSEMS wants to save as many lives as possible, by offering high quality healthcare and a rapid response where possible.

    What we do:

Administering advanced first aid is the main priority in the LSEMS, but we do more. Once employees are proven to be skilled enough and they're ready to take on more than a regular Emergency Medical Technician (EMT for short), they are able to become a Firefighter or a Field Trainer.

Firefighters have access to advanced tools to assist in for example traffic collisions and search and rescue operations.

Field Trainers are there to make sure new personnel is well equipped for the job and they provide the necessary training, as well as testing the
day-to-day capabilities of the Emergency Medical Responders before they are allowed to become an EMT.

The LSEMS also offers training to citizens and government personnel to acquire a license and gain proficiency in administering basic first aid and CPR. By doing this, we enable you to help your loved ones or even that random stranger in the street that will be eternally grateful for saving their life.

Citizens and police personnel may also apply to the ride-along program of the LSEMS, to witness first hand how an EMT works on a daily basis.

    How to apply:

Are you an outstanding citizen without criminal record ((and a clean adminrecord)), have lived in the state long enough ((4,000XP)) and are willing to work hard with excellent benefits? Apply today! Be the change and become the hero you've been waiting to be. Help the LSEMS out and join a friendly team of skilled EMT's that is always willing to help eachother and citizens out.

    Vehicles:

The LSEMS has a legion of vehicles available to give citizens the best care possible. They are listed below.

    • BRUTE Ambulance; The regular Ambulance, used for regular EMT duties and patrols.

    bYagbfE.png

    • Declasse FIB (red); An SUV converted for use as an Ambulance for both Firefighters and Field Trainers and up.

    LGixYe1.png

    • Buckingham (Air Ambulance) Maverick; EMT's in the AIR Division can use this for long distance calls.

    CUAz2xA.png

    • MTL Firetruck; A truck Firefighters and up can use for calls about traffic collisions, search and rescue operations and situations involving fire, explosion, or volatile materials.

    QOMcoAO.png

    • Declasse Lifeguard; Lifeguard vehicle, being part of the Fire Department branch of the LSEMS, this vehicle will rarely be seen but is part of the LSEMS vehicle legion.

Let's not forget the engine is in the BACK of that vehicle. And if we're talking realism, who in their right mind uses a car with that value to try and get away from police, plate most likely already scanned, vehicle not reported stolen. Once gunshots are fired you would definitely pull over as to not to get further damage to the vehicle. The game mechanic of engine's stalling isn't good by any means, however there are enough weak points to an engine that huge calibre revolver would definitely cripple (cooling hoses, oil lines, etc.)

Also: please post in the proper format.
