It's funny u say a farmer's job is RP, farmers take care of the wheat, IRL trucks come, load the wheat and deliver it to the factory/shop. IRL even if you steal wheat there's no way you can sell it, companies simply don't buy wheat from unknown people. Private entrepreneurs have licenses that prove that their companies follow high standards in order for the wheat to pass quality control and robbers don't. This has been a fail decision to make wheat stealing possible at the very beginning.

it has to still remain a game with things for criminals to do. Realism works up to a point

  2. This would remove all RP from the farming job, I do not support it. However, police should be more active at the farms to stop criminals. If that is not possible due to low amount of cops online I think the dropoff could be a NCZ. On the way there you could still be robbed. Once there you couldn't. (On the way you can resist because you are in the van and can just drive) That way there is a middleroad.

    +1/-1

I think this Would be a good Idea If implemented properly, properly being:

    • GUI to select car at dealership (Get a picture, overview, top speed etc)
    • Maybe even an option to shop online at certain areas/ on phone?

Things I would have a problem with though, are UN-roadworthy vehicles, vehicles obviously not legal to drive on the road, usually race cars or custom vehicles

    For example:

RE-7B (its a race car, meant for a track, I don't even think it has turn signals)

Tornado Rat Rod (I think this one should explain itself)

Also things that should be limited are military vehicles, like the Barracks. The only thing like that I could see working is the Canis Crusader

I dunno, lemme know your thoughts guys :P

as said in the suggestion, stuff that isnt road legal of rp worthy should not be available and that includes what you said. Also, this is purely about what you can order from a dealership, not what is readily available at them. Right now you can already view a car before you buy it so that would not change.

  4. Yes we need this, but as a separate faction that is not connected to PD. Sheriff deparments work on their own, they can work together but the command should not be mixed.

At times when there is no police from LSPD in town the sheriff's can patrol inside the city.

Then as I said previous, I would definitely be a +1 for this!

Though highly customized cars, IE. the "space ship", should most likely stay purchasable through credits, or be extremely expensive.

I think those don't belong in a roleplay server so they should not be available at all imo.

  6. Since the credit store is gone for vehicles I'd greatly appreciate it if all vehicles (apart from non-rp ones like for example the moon buggy and the insurgent) were added to normal dealerships. Right now a lot of vehicles cannot be obtained and even a simple thing like the mountainbike (Scorcher) can't be bought. Would love to hear the thoughts of the community and developers.

  7. Errr, don't know who actually uses the names overhead in roleplay but I don't. I don't know the name untill I've seen the ID. Car owned by wanted person is enough grounds to get pulled over though. However, that is done with a simple plate check that real life police has as well. (In the civilized world anyway)

Removing the names overhead is fine by me once the server is stable and there is not so much non-rp. At this point in time we need the names to report the people that fail RP or just DM in any way.
