The current ecosystem of the server wouldn't really be accepting of this addition, but it's not an inherently bad idea. The issue would be that it does introduce many, if not all, of the cons presented in your initial argument. To give a character a kickstart, we permit transfer requests within reason if you want to check those out here

+1, Fantastic suggestion. Anything to further immerse players in RP is a positive change. This would also assist new players in understanding how RP works in regards to representing items with /me and /do when interacting with a medic.

Hi there.
We're currently permitted to supplement roleplay as mechanics at this moment in time if none are online due to this shortage. If this is the case, you can make a /report 1 asking us to roleplay the mechanic with you per @Lewis's internal announcement.

Further reports from in-game show that this is caused by entering and leaving the gun store menu, not anything to do with purchasing a specific weapon.

Never even thought of this, +1 for this and the GPS. Put it behind the screwdriver tool and slap a skill check on it. Too many times have I seen cab drivers have their stuff just yoinked from the back seat in a millisecond while someone exits the cab, feels super lame and nonrp.
Anything that prevents further staff intervention and is more immersive is an awesome suggestion.

You cut the turn so tight that you were in the wrong lane of travel and almost hit him head-on. As for the follow up stolen car part, the car was marked as "reported stolen" per the script if it's an NPC car or just wasn't registered to you as Distributor said.

Utilize /mechanic for a tow and specify that no LSC mechanics are online and why you're unable to drive up there.

caps lock is my suggestion but whatever it is has to be key that doesn't utilize something else on the server
Q is questionable as that is used for taking cover and could lead to extreme frustration when trying to take cover in a gunfight
