    -1, As a mechanic I think this is a bit pointless, while I understand the need to repair faction vehicles, there’s a reason why there’s two factions that can do that already. I think this is more of an IC issue between Govt factions and LSC/Bayview. Currently there’s no contract between Bayview and SD/LSPD(not sure about LSCs contracts) , but I could see one being created to restore FACTION vehicles for reduced prices. Having another scripted job to do what mechanics can already do seems like a waste of dev resources.

    Issue/bug you are reporting: Drags lost 1 mod level in performance (minus turbo)

    Expected behavior:  Should still be maxed out

    My drag was maxed out before the new car update, now it no longer seems to be. Aleks tested other cars and it seems to be just the drag for now but there may be other cars involved.

    Again said as above, Ballin addressed this issue a few weeks back with stating vulgar racist or such rp should be asked for via consent and not a slur thrown around. Changes were made simply because of streaming guidelines and such. Now, even if the route were to be taken in the form of a punishment, i really don’t see that being of much change. Rule breaks happen all the time, I can’t see if we were to strictly enforce the OOC consent rule any more than the others to be of much help. Rules are set forth to stop people from starting chaos but it still happens, sadly.

    Ballin said the hard R requires consent OOCLY, as it’s considered gross RP. Does that solve the issue? No it doesn’t. The logic that people break rules regardless doesn’t resolve the issue either, it’s a lazy response to a real issue this server has. The only solution is to blanket ban anything racist, and punish people accordingly to set a new precedent.

  24. Staff Owned Official Factions

    While the main points have been covered by most, I do have to say that the transfer requests show a lot of bias within the Staff team, even if it’s for the betterment of the community, it’s pure hypocrisy. 

     

    Purposely funding a character that is going to lead/take part in a criminal faction is the exact opposite of the point of the Transfer Requests, and it’s been a strong reason for denial in almost all Transfer Requests regarding a Legal Character to a Criminal one.

     

    The Staff who’ve made these requests and gotten them granted have bypassed months of hard work and grinding to get to a stable economic level in which they could then develop an organization. It’s lazy RP, however I see why it’s being done, for the betterment of criminal RP. 

     

    Overall I’m excited for the RP, but I feel for the people who feel cheated by the system the staff created. In my honest opinion it doesn’t matter about their longevity on the player they’re making, it’s about the precedent set, that shows staff can overlook their own rules to do things how they want to.

     

    Lots of players spend countless days on this server to be an individual with capital and something to show for it. With these requests from staff being accepted I can’t help but feel like it’s a blow to morale to the players who run in unofficial gangs. Seeing new gangs pop up in F4 as well as transfer requests that would get denied instantly if it were any other legal character trying to fund a criminal one.

  25. Allow the purchase of Coke tables at humane labs and more

    lets look at it like this. currently if you buy a coke or weed table from a gang, you dont have to do anything more with them whatsoever. if they implemented the system im suggesting people would have to go through the gangs for everything that could make them more money. the tables, chemicals and then sell it. this gives gangs more power instead of limiting. the only thing they wont have the ability to control is the weed tables just like in real life and small growers that stay below the radar but make less money

    let’s look at it like this. you’ve posted at least 3 suggestions in the past week attempting to more easily facilitate what you want as a criminal player. You have not done any of the hard work deserving the rewards that Official factions have done. Stop trying to go the easy route every single time. Do something on the server that would be beneficial to you getting what you need IC rather than making an OOC suggestion to get it easier ICly. You legit do this every day.
