  1. One of our trainees, Diego Ferguson, went off duty yesterday, yet when we do a /fmembers 0, we still see him listed as on-duty as a medic. At one point we had no other medics on duty, and this resulted in PD/SD being unable to perform medical actions, as they usually can, when no medics are on duty. We had him log back into his character a few minutes ago, and he was listed twice on the /fmembers list: https://i.imgur.com/0nzOhKg.png The server has been up for a longer than normal time, so I suspect this is a rare bug related to how long the server has been up, some kind of counter that rolls over? Thanks.
  2. Raising this one back up. This is a long ongoing issue where frequently our medics will attempt to turn their sirens on or off, and it will accidently trigger the panic alarm. Sometimes hitting ALT-CTRL will disable this, but there seems to be some trigger that we don't know that makes hitting E act as if you've hit CTRL-E. It would be great if panic alarms were simply removed from any kind of binding, and require users to type /em instead.
  3. Date and time (provide timezone): 16:25 EST Character name: Stan Abaddon Issue/bug you are reporting: GPS Map shows 911 calls for LSEMS staff that have already been closed when first getting on duty. Expected behavior: Only active calls should be seen. Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: Join server, get on duty as EMS, and look at he map. see screenshot attached.
  4. I'm all for improving the painkiller situation, but would like to ensure we don't create something that's worse for MD staff. A lot of our RP is already repetitive, and the last thing I'd like to see is a change the results in Medics having to spend a lot more time RPing at the hospital, and forcing citizens to spend more time stuck in RP that they have no interest in. The good thing about the current painkiller situation is that at least it's very quick for everyone involved. One possibility that might help is to enable MD Staff to sell "emergency medical kits". This could either be directly from medics (like methadone is now) so that Medics have a new source of income, or from a automated dispenser machine located in the hospital lobby - again, allowing the MD treasury to benefit, and eliminating non-fun RP. This would puts costs on citizens who get themselves into situations resulting in injuries, plus it turns "give me painkillers" into "sell me a kit", which might be a bit more realistic of a reason for people to drive to the hospital, or other locations where kits could be made available for sale. These Medical Kits would take time to apply (like drinking water does, but much longer, preventing people from healing in the middle of a battle with no risk), and then would heal over time, so that there's no instantaneous effect, forcing those who were injured in a battle to take time before they return to the battle after healing. Citizens could carry a kit on them, so they could start the healing process where needed. If someone is "downed", and another player wants to use BLS on them (/cpr), perhaps also make it that they must have a medical kit on them in order to do so, and using /cpr consumes 1 kit. Make a kit take enough inventory volume, so people can't carry more than 1 kit on them without a bag or putting extras in a vehicle. I'm sure this could be fleshed out better, but perhaps this is the outline of a new painkiller system. Stan
  5. Date and time (provide timezone): September 18, 3:30pm EDT Character name: Stan Abaddon Issue/bug you are reporting: A duplicate of my Seven-70 has been stuck in my garage for the past couple weeks. When i initially look at my garage, i only see a single Seven-70 (plus my other car). I can successfully take out the vehicle, but when i look at the garage afterwards, you can see the Seven-70 is still listed. I cannot remove this one. It uses up a spot in the garage, and I cannot put my house up for sale with it there. Expected behavior: When i pull out my Seven-70, it should no longer be shown in my garage. Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: Please see the following video: Vehicle license plate number*: 01QDYC4I
  6. This has been happening frequently for EMS staff. It's causing Staff to go off-duty out of frustration.
  7. Drop them off at the coroner, then have separate job tasks to take loads from the coroner to the cemetery. .
  8. I'm one of the many people on the server who has joined in the last 3-5 months, who have been around long enough to make some money and am now ready to spend it and get a nice place to live. However, the market for anything besides 1G/2G or the "lower end" 3Gs has completely dried up. It is extremely rare to see anything go for sale these days unless you're very lucky. When you have hundreds or thousands of active players and almost nothing ever goes up for sale, it means the market has dried up, and unless additional housing becomes available, there's no options for newer players to purchase anything nice. Effectively we're locked out of the higher end market. And, from what I've observed, there are many people who have played here for much longer who own multiple high end properties simply as a place to sink their money into because they have lots of it, and nothing else to spend on it. They already have supercars or garages full of high end sportcars. Some suggest additional taxes on those with multiple properties, but not sure if this is fair especially for those who used real money to buy additional home slots. So my suggestion is this: Create some new ultra-high-end luxury items, such as yachts, personal helicopters, private jets, and so on. Minimum price for many of these items would be 10 million at the low end. This would entice some of the ultra-rich on the server who do own multiple properties to sell them so they have enough funds to purchase these luxury items that set them apart from the masses, while freeing up real-estate for those who are trying to get into the market. Longer term you have more owners with less houses, resulting in a couple benefits: More activity in the real estate market as people switch houses or sell houses to upgrade or go after luxury items. More houses that default and go back to the government as some players eventually leave the server. More citizens who have the opportunity to purchase a house better than a 1G/2G or something far out of the main population centers. This would effect the economy as a whole, but hopefully in a positive way. Simply making additional housing available (which may not be possible in the upper end market since pretty much all of the houses have already been "released" ) doesn't appear to work as after a week or so, all available new homes are snapped up and the market dries up again. Doing in the way I have stated above provides something for the uber rich to spend their money on and should inject a lot of activity into the market.
  9. As a medic, I have a different view of this, one that would create another civilian job. Medics are already busy enough and to require them to deal with bodies on top of the load we already have would not be an improvement for the community, as people would waiting longer than they sometimes do today, or we would get to less people who require medical attention due to time taken to deal with bodies. Instead, create a coroner "civ" job, with a hearse as the job vehicle, and have the player's GPS ping whenever someone dies (goes into a coma, killed and respawns at hospital). Coroner would then drive to the location of the body, pick it up, and have to drop it off at the coroner's office, located beside Central MD. They would have the choice, especially when it is at active PD scenes, to RP with PD and Medics, actually creating a civilian job that is more than just a grind. When dropping a body off at the coroner's office, they would get paid a set fee per body. Possibly allow the hearse to carry more than one body at a time, so coroners can manage multiple bodies before having to drive back downtown. To be clear, this is a job, not a faction, just like postman or garbage man. Anyone, including new players, would be eligible for this job.
  10. I'm from Canada. I cannot connect either.
