If you are playing on windows 7 this could also be the reason, try upgrading to windows 10 if you can and if you are using windows 7

This happens to me all the time but it usually fixes by just getting out and back in the car, no clue why its not working for you. Also the map locations disappearing is because the owner of the fueling stations didn't purchase a blip so there business doesn't show up on the GPS.

+1 Being able to open the passenger door when you are breaking someone out of jail who has handcuffs on would be nice

Is weather not client side? I've been talking to someone and it's raining heavily but when I say something like "damn fuck this rain" they would be like "what rain? completely sunny for me"

I know that most cops RP putting on a body camera on their vest before going out on duty with a few simple /me's and /do's and they still play in 3rd person point of view, so I'm assuming if you wanted to you could do a few simple /me's and /do's such as like "/me Gets their "masked camera" and puts it on and presses play on the recording device" and be able to use it for different RP scenarios like if the cops asked for proof of a crime or something like that, but make sure you screenshot where you RP putting on the camera and turning it on so if the cops ask for proof you installed the camera you can show then you RPed it. I don't think you should have to play in 1st person if you don't want to and still be able to have a "masked camera" on. And yes like @deputy865 said you could use a recording software for OOC purposes like getting proof of a rule breaker without any RP at all.

When you tab back into the game press f2 to get rid of the courser on the screen and then press escape to close down the map. But I'm pretty sure that's cheating so study the rule book before you take the quiz not during the quiz.
