Yesterday I was pulled by a cop since I didn't stopped at red light, oh wait noone even stops at red lights, EVEN POLICE they run trough city 150km/h without any sirens (and it's not one person doing that it's most of them).

As a police officer I would like to point out that WE ALL are to stop at red lights and drive 70 km/h as per traffic rules (unless we have lights or sirens on). Cops have been reported to IA about not following those rules, and have been punished. I drive 70km/h and stop at all red lights and I do admit the lights are coded not very well and the lack of traffic (player base) makes it pointless, but police officers are supposed to follow those rules.

I believe that more things need to be added to the server to make people interact with each other and RP - more than script jobs. I don't know what that would look like but I'm sure others have a great idea of it. There would be also more of an intro to joining the server, etc. where to get started, what to do, etc. Cause when I first joined I was lost on how to do anything (aside from /me and /do, etc.)

If you say they can't, it's not intentional, it's an interpretation. I'm totally open to new rule formulas.

I mean I was punished in faction chat for saying "Why doesn't anybody take their car home after shift". To me, that isn't metagaming. It's metagaming if I say "Everybody move your cars after your shift" I asked a question OOCly, and did not give an IC command OOCly.

Of course, there are different circumstances to this, but I mean over it should be the act of USING OOC info, not the act of RELYING the info.

In case you find a solution that can lower robberies that would be fine but if its going to remove robberies from the game completely then im against it.

For now this is a big -1

I wouldn't say remove them completely. I'm just saying add rules to RP them correctly. Me getting pitted out of nowhere by a supercar and robbed in broad isn't exactly RP. I mean if you're going to rob me, rob me at night or in an alleyway. Just not in broad daylight.

So your saying you want to remove 90% of what criminals do in the server because they do it to you all the time?

Getting "admin approval" to rob someone is a terrible idea to be honest, lest say im following someone on the highway and I tell him to stop aside and pull over what am I gonna do? Make a /report and wait till an admin tells me "approval granted"?

As @verydoge12 said, its your fault. I wasnt robbed all week once and never came close to being robbed, i presume you are fairly new to the server and that means that you still need to learn where to go and where not go if u dont want to get robbed as @gyrhnr said.

I wouldn't say I'm fairly new, but it happens way too often like you said 90% of what criminals do. They need to add something for them to all do besides rob people.

It's your own fault for getting robbed than and I do not even have pity than.

Might as well just start hanging in NCZs like it’s not the point of me getting robbed. It’s the point of it happening so frequently and not just to me, so I’m proposing we change up the criminal system so robbing another player is either RPed right or rare to happen.

Honestly its your fault if you get robbed 5 times a day because I get robbed like once a week and i play a few hours every evening

How is somebody choosing to rob me my fault?

I understand it’s probably bad luck that it happens often to me, but it shouldn’t even happen once a week. How many times IRL do you get robbed in the streets? Especially if you have a gun holstered on your person.

There is nothing you can do in my opinion, add a rule that gives criminals a cooldown each robbery they do? That wont work. While this is a issue there is not alot of things u can do.

You can either add a rule to prevent robberies or just add more things for criminals to do, etc.

With this being an RP server you can’t just say “well there’s nothing you can do about being robbed all the time” when you absolutely can. Or just ban robbing other players outright without admin approval.

  9. Hi all,

After being robbed about 5 times in the span of a day on this server I've finally had enough and need to suggest doing something about these robberies. Now I understand robbery is a part of RP, but the fact this happens so frequently AND the way it happens isn't RP. Like I've been robbed while driving, somebody PITs me into a tree and then robs me, it's really ridiculous and you can't defend yourself with a weapon or you break the Fear RP rule.

However, after that rant, I believe the problem stems from the lack of activities criminals have to do. I don't have any suggestions on that or what can be improved, but I was hoping this would start a dialogue because honestly getting RPly robbed multiple times a day isn't right.

  10. Hi all,

Since I've been on the server, I've bought multiple outfits but can't tell what's what due to the "naming system" of inventory.

For example, you should be able to right click on the item of clothing and rename it "Orange Jacket" or "Red Shoes", etc. This would be able to track your outfits more efficiently.
