  1. I do believe that from my time in PD, TEO's were not required to respond to non-traffic related calls, unless there was a TAC situation going on or there was a low amount of officers in-game at that moment. If you're suggesting to restrict them completely, -1 from me.

    Masktoggle

Don't see why not! Do keep in mind though, that when typing /mask it'll suggest toggle and you can just press TAB. +1
  3. While I absolutely love the idea, I have to agree with the rest of the players on this thread as desync is in no way good on the server; -1 from me.
  4. This is a suggestion, not a place to ask questions. You may report a player for breaking server rules.
  5. See the above post please, that is how it works in real life, not a 10% or 25% subtraction
  6. Maybe we could build in minimum sentences as well? Just like each charge has a minimum and a maximum IRL.
  7. Currently, the MDC the police (and I assume the sheriffs department) have automatically sets the prison sentence for each player based on their built in charge time. I believe that, the time the MDC builds in/penal code shows should only be a MAXIMUM prison sentence, and that officers should be allowed to give players a lower sentence within reason. Examples: Detectives crack a murder case, but due to the help of the suspect in catching other suspects either in the same case or another, such as "snitching" and feeding information to the police, they could receive a 60 minute sentence rather than a 90 minute sentence. A player displays extremely good roleplay during an arrest scenario that involves an Assault & Resisting Arrest charge. Rather than the maximum 35 minute sentence, they would receive a 20 minute sentence as a reward. I believe this suggestion should be pushed through as the police currently act as judge and jury and certain scenario's don't always require the maximum sentence. How the script would work: Command: /jail Thomas_Voight 60 (/jail (Player ID/Name) (Jail Time) The MDC would already know what charges are being pressed upon the player, and if the officer tries to give a higher sentence than the maximum, it would display an error such as: ERROR: You may not jail this player for that amount of time, as that exceeds the maximum prison sentence that comes with his/her charges! If the officer just wanted to give the maximum sentence, he could just type: /jail Thomas_Voight - and not provide the amount of time, automatically giving the player the maximum sentence. Minimum sentences should also be built in to avoid favoritism or unrealistic sentencing. If you agree with this suggestion, comment with a +1! If you disagree, comment with a -1, and provide some feedback if desired. Thanks ECLIPSE Community!
  8. Any arguments that are not about the suggestion itself can be taken elsewhere, this is where we provide feedback on the actual suggestion not the comments of other players. -1 from me on the actual suggestion; People don't need to be stacking up a multitude of charges at a time if they cannot suffer the consequences! - Flucifial
  9. Sounds like an IC issue, you can't just say that ALL cops do not do that IRL. Some cops could be a little corrupt or disregard the traffic laws. So, to answer your question, no, as that would not be non-rp.
  10. I don't know where in the rules it says you need permission, but I have to disagree. Kidnapping police officers does not happen very often, and are in fact extremely rare in the U.S. I think in order to maintain realism, we must keep this rule in place.
  11. Fix: Load into the server and try registering a "new" account with the exact same details and information as your existing account. Click register; it'll tell you the account already exists. Close RAGE:MP and reload into it, then attempt to login. The verification email should have been sent by this time. (Huge thanks to @TwitchDadTV for this!)
  12. No one is taking this personal, I have never dealt with this player. All I am asking is for a re-worded suggestion after the information I have provided him as I believe it might change. Staff already spends an equal amount of time throughout all of our responsibilities, and I'm trying to see if the suggestion still stands after knowing that. Thanks for your "clarity" though!
