  1. This is the whole point of why the server is unattractive for new players and time and time again people are showing it with post like these and they don't even understand it. I understand, loyal players shouldnt be neglected either. Server is having hard time to attract new players as people playing on PVP server where they get stomped by everyone else and sadly this is the state of the server as of now. I'd give an example like Tarkov, where it is nearly impossible for new player to enjoy the game as all the chads just annihilate you to the point that it's no fun, same as like this server unless you try to go to law enforcment/civ jobs. Server mentality is play to win and it shows, rather than giving new players a boost, old players are asking for themselves to get boosted (until no one is left on the server), no wonder server is dwindling and it's sad. whats more sad to see, experienced players saying oh there's not enough players with 3+ years to reap the benefits, we should lower it. Guys, keep chasing the benefits until there's no one else left on the server.
  2. I'm against completely blocking person as this would be just a reason for blocking all the other gang members and then whilst being reported and having excuse "well i was not asked to save POV as the person is blocked" Rather give ability to slow PM's from the person, as example 1 PM per 5 minutes or 10 minutes. Although, whilst playing on server for 2 years, I've never had issues with PM myself, there would be someone writing that they're unhappy (rarely and understandably some people get upset) and the best thing was just to ignore, we all have that ability and guess what, that would never go any further. If they keep spaming you and harrasing you can report that.
  3. this would actually be a great idea, also there should be auto /me's & /do's for other parties to know you're looking into the bag. Honestly +1
  4. it's bit weird though. Imagine officer pulls him over, can't see any weapons on him, driver steps out of the car - officer thinks maybe it's a missclick (happens quite a lot) or as he did not see a gun, officer will not escallate and will not get his out. BAM he's dead from AR, then police will up the force and threat every stop as potential for officer being gunned down (100% this would be the outcome) Not saying that there couldn't be another alternatives or your suggestion altered, but I disagree with yours as it stands now, we should not be aiming to the point where a cop can't see a weapon, but suspect can pull one out of his arse as he steps out of the vehicle.
  5. :DDDDDDDD So why crims are upset and making these posts when actions leads to consequences? So by that logic, at some point it should lead to PD/SD creating a curfew and shooting everyone on spot if they're out at certain times and the other way around with crims. I do agree actions has consequences, Law did something wrong, crims retaliate (fair), Law can't take it much more so they increase their capabilities (fair) - by that logic why we have such topics? I love how the RP server that should be about making connections, interacting with people and creating stories but mostly its crying about Crims VS PD in the forums... HM.... The issue I see that criminals are really disliking cops not respecting their rights I.E. getting them out of the car and then arresting with no reason - which is completely fair. Just because there's 4 guys with past felonies shouldnt warrant a warrantless search and treating them like felons with active warrants. I think the server has just been way to long without a wipe (which never will happen), quite a few people don't even care about the money, so it's just turning to GRP server.
  6. These suggestions could be described in one saying: "give someone a hand and they'll take your whole arm" I can count on one hand how many times hardcore criminal said "you know what, i don't want more charges, I will comply" and even in those instances they would only give up because they committed a minor crimes. As others have pointed out, if you want to fix that, you could decrease times for some crimes accordingly, but then remove the maxed out cap completely, that would give a reason to actually evaluate if it's worth to fight back and evade.
  7. This is where you lost me and whatever else you say makes me believe that it comes from your emotions rather than logical thinking. If LEO's are breaking rules all the time yet they're not all banned, believe me crims are first ones to make the reports against PD rather than other way around. And when you actually look how many reports are made agaisnt PD there's not that many.
  8. I think it should be changed to 12 hours for the first suspension, and 24 for the second if caught again without a license and so on plus add different charges, I.E you run from police and decide to shoot - thats 24 hours, you just try to run - 12 This would still let you to have fun tomorrow if caught for the first time and would punish you for repeating the offence. I think everyone wins in such scenario. Crims can wake up next morning and have fun, PD don't get as much increase in chases just for fun.
  9. +1 this is exactly a great mentality. Civ roleplay/new players should be awarded too, more people would choose this path where they could balance story lines, making money as a civ and if they want more adrenaline doing some crim hustle on the side. In reality its hard to offer something to a new player as you're years and litteraly years behind other players. You want to run a business - sorry, that will cost you atleast 10-30 mil, as the only way to do is through getting a shop or something like that. Want to offer a service? no one needs it as everyone has money, drugs/guns are ruled by gangs so what can you offer. Then you cant even compete with citizens, crims as everyone just have way more resources than you and you cant offer shit. So the only way to award a new player is with roleplay and interacting with other players, creating fun scenarios, which not really anyone wants to do it. Crims wants go get resources (understandable), PD cant let them off as it still needs to focus on realism so they have to give them a book. In reality, new players if they do not entertain themselves - server is not creating them the entertainment and people can advocate that it's not servers responsibility to create the fun for new players, but then lets not complain there's no new players.
  10. Quite missed my point, I'm not shitting on Judicial Branch. My point that citizens (crims player, without no charges is a citizen - not a criminal, by law in real life) rights are quite non existant. Get as many players in JB it won't change the fact that citizens don't have enough rights. I'm not saying that there shouldn't be a caution against seasoned criminals, but violating citizens rights ain't it in my book (referring to real life citizens rights) Example, player being pulled over for driving 20km/h extra in a city shouldn't be pulled over and then escalated to K9, getting suspects out of the vehicle and then searching them for weapons - as lets be real, that was not the reason for the stop and unless you rp'ly have a valid reason to do that - guns on them, bullet marks on their vehicles, active investigation n such then you should never force it.
  11. You clearly don't know the numbers of the covid times that boomed the whole market. Biggsest streamers like Kyle, Buddah, Esfand, Kebun, XQC and so many other streamers were pulling on average 20-30k (sometimes even 100k at a time) viewers (you can check that on twitch tracker) and now they barely pull 2-3K, not talking about variety streamers but mainly RP focused which XQC and Esfand aint it. That server used to have 5-10k qued players (with a quite hefty monthly payment) now barely have 200 players online. To this day, that server streamers are pulling the majority of views on the twitch for GTA V. In reality, crims needs better judicial system to protect their rights and hold law enforcement accountable (thats what you want in general). This would work wonders in my opinion where criminals/civs would have their rights protected and PD/SD would back off a bit. Simple rights like speeding shouldn't escalate to all of the passengers being taken out of the vehicle due to assumption "because they usually have guns" and in such instances crims would get a hefty payout (as in real life, not a pennies, police loses cases for incorrectly acquired evidence) and police officer violating citizens rights would get a repercussion - I.E. garnishment from the salary, and for more serious violations suspension and for repetitive violations demotions and such. This would create more in depth roleplay, where criminals and PD needs to know a law and it is enforced properly.
  12. So basically you're saying, if you shout as a gang member "surrender of you going to get shot" then you blast the shit out of them and pick their shit - its fun for the other side. When PD responds to the shootout and sees people looting bodies, running with guns and shooting and not trying to leave and they get shot (or officers witnessed you doing it) - thats not fun. also you posted saying that PD is doing it wrong as quoted by you '', because its beginning to become LEO can deathmatch any criminal in the area of a gun fight.'' So is it deathmatch or they're not doing anything wrong? Huh
  13. If you're so up for realism answer this, how many suspects that evades in real life, shoots a cop and such escapes? Barely none. I always see these complaints made by the players that actually lack skills in themselves, have piss poor driving standards with faster cars than police and has minimal knowledge of how to use racing lines, then getting mad once they get caught. Lets not forget that a lot of cops that been playing on this server have developed a great skillset through many years of playing this game, the same as crims that been around for years and has no issue to lose a cop. Do you really think that admins do not monitor these situations? If every crim would feel this way they would start leaving the server in which DEV's/Admins would quickly react. The server is being balanced for many years. Players love the adrenaline kick that comes with such situations, maybe the anger appears at some points but this what makes the game engaging. I don't think most of the people that are actual gamers would love playing on ''easy'' mode
  14. -1 It's not admins job to police someone's age, furthermore, I don't believe they should have the right to access your confidential information or even get to know your real name. It's Rockstars responsibility to enforce age requirements as they're legally obliged to. Seems like vendeta campaign coming from OP regarding the report that was made by under aged person, which makes the whole situation even weirder.
