  4. Respectfully but If you have only 20-30 members around at one time that is not our problem, plus where is the other 80 ? If they are inactive then that is a problem to be dealt with ICly. If the backup rule exists then so should a rule preventing PD swarming little infractions.
  5. +1 I'm going to link this EXACT QUOTE to the back up rule. As a criminal we have to face the back rule whenever we want to do criminal activities. I'm going to quote an exact extract from you "not going to be dictated to by server rules when I'm allowed to join a situation for role-play within it". This is quite literally what criminal role-players have to do EVERY DAY. We are absolutely limited down by the back up rule which "dictates" exactly what and what we are not allowed to do. The fact that PD and its almost 100 member faction as of writing this gets to go to any and all situations is unrealistic and hinders roleplay. It makes 0 sense for 10 odd cruisers to turn up to something as little as fight at construction job. Criminals have something called the back up rule, of which a criminal organisation/faction whilst in a situation cannot call another allied one without pre organised activity such as going to rob a bank together. I've been on this server a very long time and absolutely understand why this is here but If criminals are having to have what situations they're allowed to roleplay in dictated by server rules how exactly do you think its fair that LEO role-players don't ? You are in a faction with almost 100 people, If per say all those people, having the exact mentality as you, are online you could have almost 100 people turn up to a single situation with absolutely nothing seen as incorrect about it. It plainly isn't realistic, fair and fun for criminal role-players. A back up rule for LEO factions either needs to be made and or the back up rule needs abolishment. "I don't try and tell you how many friends you can play with", in all actuality you do. I have friends in multiple gangs across the city and I CANNOT call them in many situations because It would be a back up breach rule. So that is false.
  6. Absolute knight in shinning armour. Hope I encounter you in game and you save me from the big bad criminals ! Long live Dingle
  7. I’m going to counter everything you mentioned. security cameras could be placed in the house to detect movement which automatically calls the police, these could be hackable and disabled through imported items, more roleplay for criminals AND police. facial recognition is impenetrable. Well I’m unsure if you know this but anything biometric related runs through a mother board like a computer. Computers can be hacked, and so can biometric scans. A hacking motherboard which can be wired in can be accessed through imports, or even better be made in a workshop and coding, more roleplay. heavy duty safes you cannot bash in. There can be variations in safe escalating in price making them hard to get in with Light duty which can be forced open by brute force, heavy duty which must be cracked and Biometric which must be hacked. You wouldn’t see floating text. In the locations were safes are stored can get very NRP. In RV’s safes are in the wall which in terms of roleplay basically means they’re outside of the RV clinging to the side of the RV. In apartments you absolutely would not just be able to through any Safe into any wall you so please, so being able to spot them inside walls is completely fair. There is also nothing preventing hiding the safe in a good location, but people don’t because they know it’s an invincible entity. The city would be free for all. How ? I understand if the owner is not online, but that is why security systems automatically all the police, exactly like real life. You said that it destroys the point of roleplay. This is false. Firstly if you want safe cracking items you need to get that imported. For a non official faction illegal roleplayer, you need to make connections with someone official, get them to import it, actually import successfully not including comps, than including my suggestion of building it that is another roleplay situation in of itself, than actually breaking in, finding the safe(s), than cracking into them, than escaping not including police would be on your back if a single thing goes wrong and you’re saying there is no roleplay situation ? Let me ask you this, you believe running into an apartment in with guns shouting “Hands up Hands up Hands up” is more realistic than going through that large process, full of actual quality roleplay over what I like to call “clapper roleplay” which is basically what you think is better for the server. Finally you said about knowing the owner. In real life, because all anyone want to achieve is a realistic situation, robbers don’t care about who owns what, they just want to get the money. It’s like stealing vehicles in game, if you need to know the owner to rob the house you might as well make that for vehicles as well. The reason you don’t do that it’s because it’s just unrealistic. Getting your house robbed is spontaneous, random and a case of bad luck if you had no interjection for the reasoning of why your being robbed.
  8. Hello and thank you for reading this, The invincible entity I like to call them, as they are quite literally impossible to break into is the safes. These entities pose as an impenetrable wall that you cannot get into without its code. Either you guess It or hold the owner at gunpoint to tell you it. There needs to be a fix to this. This is an unresolved issue which has gone on for far too long. A "safe cracker" or as It can be so called could be implemented to be shipped in, in drops along side weapons, armour, etc and Is capable to open a safe. It could implement the feature of having to twist many times till you hear a click in a fun roleplay game mode. It is absolutely unrealistic to not having something like this in the game, in real life I could bash a safe in with a pickaxe so making something that Its impossible to get into I feel is wrong to have in the server and I believe many other criminals would agree.
  9. Hello and thank you for reading this report. A feature which I have seen in some locations which would be absolutely incredible and help with the immersion of the game would be being able to increase your abilities, such as punch power, stamina, etc. No, this is not like some token system of where you earn tokens through levelling up but instead you can actually scriptly workout instead of just doing an animation, and it actually effects you. Whilst the effects doesn't have to be visual, it can just be script wise. So lets say I do a lot of working out on the upper body than my punch is slightly stronger than usual, If I do a lot of running my stamina will decrease slower, If I do a lot of swimming I can swim quicker, If I do a lot of shooting my recoil would be decreased due to practice. Obviously there would need to be maximum amount of bonus that you can have by doing certain things, i.e if you do a huge amount of working out you don't become superman and punch someone to the moon, but It gives a slight edge in certain situations and It helps the roleplay be far greater reaching new limits as than there could be script gyms people could go to. This affects everyone and I do not see a con to this being implemented. Thanks, TM
  10. -1 this is already possible, and you can also take out loans as well. Only because there is not explicit command doesn’t mean it is not accessible through basic roleplay
  11. -1 and +1 My thoughts on this are split. As robbing a money truck would be cool, there are many reasons for why it should not be implemented. We can already rob basically every store already, not including ATM’s. Also the money truck job is a freelance, accessible by anyone. I hope you understand how easy it is to abuse such as to get a friend to do it so you can rob it. Maybe the administration team could set up certain roleplay scenarios where there is a money truck being escorted to a bank which is able to be robbed, but regarding all money trucks that is a -1 for me.
  12. -1 Saying that there is no way to interact outside fishing is straight up wrong. There are many bars, clubs, poker, etc of where people can interact. I think honestly apart from 1 or 2 people who would actually play tennis there is really no point of implementing and instead the server can focus on adding new things which affect far more people.
  13. Huge +1 More Crim and LEO roleplay opportunities, would be a massive W if this was truly implemented !
  14. -1 Personally I believe this is should be a perk achieved by getting an official status, like access to owning turfs. Also this could easily be abused. Official status takes months to get to however a non-official gang regardless of members getting access to something such as faction chat destroys the point of the chat, it’s a FACTION chat not a gang chat. I have been in many many gangs, some official some not and having a “gang” chat in game really just isn’t necessary.
  15. Hey @ShawnsBeard Personally I am in favour on a more focalised way to find whether the bank is able to be robbed, such as times and so forth and am much in agreement with @xMysticZxs suggestions. It would add more depth to the role play, and make banks more entertaining than just running in with guns, drills, etc.
  16. Hello and Thank you for reading this, As a criminal a main source of income is stealing from stores, banks and other players. Robbing stores and other players are easy, low cost, low set up time, low rewards. A heist however which is a major operation takes sometimes an hour just to set up, let alone conduct, escape and launder. It costs up to 50k to set up due to purchasing the drill, lock picks and weapons. After all of this than you can conduct the heist not including that it could all go wrong and all that time and money is lost, but that is not the issue that is just the criminal lifestyle. The issue is knowing whether or not the bank can even be robbed ! In previous years you were able to check whether it is or is not open, and even the time of when it is open to rob again. Now this is not the case. The only time you can check is a when your attempting to rob it ! So only after getting the numbers, equipment, preparing, finally move in, point, lock pick the door, knock out the guards and than begin drilling is when you can check whether you can even rob the bank. This is unrealistic and makes robbing banks much harder as your unaware whether you can even rob it. Bank robbers would take weeks scouting, making sure they have cash and plotting. But we are completely in the dark of until we actually rob it. I think talking on behalf of many criminals this should be changed. You should be able to see when the bank is next time able to be robbed and maybe even decreasing the cooldown time in between heists to accommodate more people to actually rob the banks and not just the large organisations. To conclude criminal Roleplay is getting harder by every update. No more cooking in apartments, which I personally dislike. Having to have a set up chop shop to chop a car, so no longer can you go to a chop shop where they automatically do it. Needing to hotwiring vehicles. But on a positive note the ability to put cash from pick up to bag straight away is a great improvement. If you are a legal role player and don’t understand how time and money consuming setting up a heist is nor been in one do not comment against this post, this is aimed for criminal role players and their views on the subject as it affects us not you. Thank you TM
