Revamped fishing

The idea being for players who main stream fishing have some creative venues for when they are in their grind. With this and if implemented correctly, people who fish can purchase different baits or maybe different rods to collect fish of higher value. Possibly allowing different fishing spots that offer only a specific fish or such.

 

Lakes such as the one in Sandy or the reservoir in Vinewood Hills

These areas can hold fish that are of low to medium value. Fish in these areas can be fished with either a fly rod or a regular rod. Fish found In these bodies of water can include catfish, pike, and in some more secluded areas where streams may be: salmon and tilapia (just for more of a variety). Players can use different baits to increase the odds of higher value fish being caught. 

 

Beachside fishing or fishing off the side of the pier

These areas can home slightly larger fish and can be source of larger cash flow to those who do not claim legal faction income. Fish in these areas can include clownfish, pufferfish, baby sharks, cod, etc. These fish can vary from low to medium value and should be fished with heavy rods or regular rods. These fish can be spawned anywhere on the coast of the map.

 

Deep Sea Fishing

Any area that is 200 feet from shore (idk what the fuck that is in meters so good luck). These fish will vary from low value to high value. The fish that will call this home will be sharks ranging from: tiger shark (low value), blue shark (low value), hammerhead shark (medium value), great white shark (high value) and whale shark (high value), with addition to possibly catching squid, lion fish, sword fish, etc. These fish should be caught with regular rods or heavy rods - (only way to catch high value fish is with a heavy rod.)

 

Why add complex fishing?

Adding a system of fishing that allows nearly 1/4 of the community the ability to master their own trade would be a great opportunity to not only RP but also allow more rags-to-riches. The more risk you put into your bait and rods and buying the boat, the more potential income you allow for yourself. Additionally, for criminals, adding more fishing options to grab more money to push forward their goals is beneficial to not only to the criminals (with having more money to buy weapons, drug ingredients, etc) it also provides PD/SD/DOC with more rp with having more assets on the map. When providing RP to one variant of the spectrum, you also give the RP to all these other branches. 

 

PS.- I have no fucking clue how to fish IRL so if these fish don't exist or sound correct, you're probably correct. Let me know your thoughts! : ))

I like this Idea   a lot as I find it boring to just sit and fish for the same 200$ fish every hour and its more realistic to need more bait and thins to fish for more expensive things. Im not sure about catching sharks though, maybe you could get on a boat and have massive built in metal rods makes boats more useful.
