Unfortunately there is not much to entice people to stay. yes we have a yard, Showers and day room.But I would like to Suggest a Inmate Trusty Program for the inmates like me that want Prison RP. It would give people something more to do than stand there and just be AFK untill there time runs out. I also think it could be a big hit if we got the guards more involed with the inmates and giveing them certain RP task to do around the Prison. and could also open up the potential For in Prison factions to open up. I know takeing Inmates out into the world could be a problem, So I would take a left turn on that unless you Implemented a rule banning people from messing with Prison work order groups without admin permission. MrJangoon Posted April 13, 2020 Report Posted April 13, 2020 We could also have stuff like a proper prison schedule. I don't think the government would want their prisoners mining outside at 3AM. I think we should also consider the possibility that the jackhammer/pick axe can be used to injure somebody.

It would also make people not want to get caught by the police and maybe thinking twice about what they are doing. It sounds harsh but I think people might enjoy it. And y’all would be the first server to offer a real prison experience

Skumm Posted April 15, 2020 Report Posted April 15, 2020 (edited) Big -1 from me as a crim, there is literally 0 to do in prison currently, sentenced need to be capped so they are not as long as they are now in my opinion. 6 hour sentences are already waaaay to long, cap it at 2 hours. Sure, I would love to see more rp there, but at the end of the day, I play a game to be able to play my character in the way I want to - Which prison can prevent; and while I do think that its good and necessary to keep it realistic and have some kind of IC punishment for crimes, forcing someone into a roleplay scenario, which they dont enjoy, for a week is just outrageos. TLDR: Yes to more RP, big YIKES for higher sentences.
branning12 Posted April 15, 2020 Report Posted April 15, 2020 Personally can't say much for the longer sentences, due to the fact that you can have plenty of RP in 6 hours or less. Depending on your sentencing. Longer sentencing doesn't seem it would fix the issue, there just needs to be some sort of involvement/activities for both DOC and inmates to do.
