Los Santos FM is a live radio station based in the city of Los Santos. We broadcast from within the city and reach across all of San Andreas to reach every single person and provide them with great music all day long. We pride ourselves on giving our listeners the best possible experience ranging from great music, weekly shows, competitions and giveaways! Our Live Radio Presenters (Radio DJs) are sure to lighten your day by playing the songs that you, the listener, request and talk to you on the radio answering questions, doing shoutouts, events and much more!

Los Santos Radio as it was originally called was founded by Ezra Zervos in 2016, he started the station as a very small online web station which he did by himself in his bedroom at home for a while before starting to get some listeners online which is when he started to hire a few volunteer DJs to do some shows with him. This went on for about 2 years before finally saving up enough money to open up a radio studio in 2019 and creating an FM station which broadcasts to the entire state of San Andreas. He then changed the name to Los Santos FM as it was no longer just a small web station but a large scale FM station where is he is now starting to try get the name of the station out there and hire some new team members.

The current status of Los Santos FM is to get a name for ourselves as the number 1 Radio Station in Los Santos/San Andreas and to build up a team of dedicated staff members to turn this station into something great! To go beyond and offer an amazing experience to the community of Los Santos. We will be recruiting a load of new members in the coming days and be training up some new Radio Presenters to get the radio going strong.

The future plans for Los Santos FM is to become a large scale radio station that every knows and loves. We want to keep expanding and get new offices and studios to broadcast from. Hopefully we will be able to get official recognition from the government and get a dedicated channel (a command to tune into the radio instead of having to type input the entire web address in /speakerurl). We hope to keep growing and trying our best to make this station a place for everyone.

The role of the General Manager is to assist the Executive Manager and is the head of Human Resources, they keep track of all staff members and help/oversee the Station and Events Managers.

Station Manager(s):
The role of the Station Manager is to focus on the actual radio broadcast, they are in-charge of all Radio Presenters and recruit/train new Radio Presenters. They oversee all live broadcasting on the radio and organise weekly shows for the radio presenters.

Radio Department

Senior Radio Presenter:
Senior Radio Presenters are more experienced in radio presenting, they do exactly the same as a normal radio presenter but they have a lot of knowledge of how things work and they can join the recruitment division and help train new Junior Radio Presenters if they wish. They also have the ability to create dedicated weekly shows. They supervise Radio Presenters and help the Station Manager.

Radio Presenter:
A Radio Presenter is very important as they are the life of the radio station, they go live on air and play music, take in song requests, shoutouts and much more. They are the voice of the station as they directly connect with the listeners and talk with them, interacting with everyone and creating an amazing and enjoyable atmosphere on the radio. Can create dedicated weekly shows with permission from Station Manager.

Junior Radio Presenter:
A Junior Radio Presenter is new to radio presenting and are being trained, they are still able to go on air and do everything a Radio Presenter can do, however they are restricted to how long they can go on for at a time as they are training and must get supervisor permission to go on air after completing their initial training program.

Events Department

Senior Event Organiser:
Just like a normal Event Organiser, they assist in creating and executing events, however they are bit more experienced and can join the recruitment division and help train new Event Organisers and help the Events Manager.

Event Organiser:
An Event Organiser creates and executes events with the permission from the Events Organiser, they come up with new and exciting ideas for the listeners such as doing competitions to win a car or a giveaway for $10,000. The sky is the limit and it's their job to be imaginative and think of new ideas for the radio. They work with Radio Presenters to execute events.

Radio Presenter Training:
Once you get hired as a Junior Radio Presenter you will need to be trained on how to download and use all the required software and we will give you sources for obtaining songs to play. We will grow through how to connect to the station, how to play music, how to setup and use your microphone on air, techniques on broadcasting such as when to play radio jingles, sound effects and backing music when speaking and how to correctly change the settings to get a perfect sound on air. More in-depth detail is given on training if you get hired.

Events Organiser:
Once you get hired as an Event Organiser, you will get basic training on how events work, how to plan events and how to execute them properly. Events Organiser is a lot more straight forward than being a Radio Presenter. You will be shown how to organise the events with the radio presenters and how to make sure events don't fail.

Really good post, a lot of people have wanted something like this implemented into the server for a long time, good for you for making it happen! If I wasn't perm banned I would 100% join this faction. 😛
