Salvador Rivera Posted April 20, 2019 Report Posted April 20, 2019 (edited) You can check your car inventory when you only open your trunk with O Edited April 20, 2019 by Chris Bluestone
ThePro Posted April 20, 2019 Report Posted April 20, 2019 I know that a lot of servers have it this way, but I don't think that it is the best solution since you can put things even on the driving seat of the car, or into the side doors. I will stay neutral because of this fact.

ThePro Posted April 20, 2019 Report Posted April 20, 2019 Just now, Chris Bluestone said: I understand your way but for now its like all doors/trunk are closed but still you can Open your car inventory and put in/out all these things ! Yeah maybe they can do it like at least one part of the car is open.

clickclack Posted April 20, 2019 Report Posted April 20, 2019 How about separate the storage for the trunk, cargo, pickup truck beds (exterior storage) and for the inventory from glove box compartments, underneath a seat, door compartments (interior storage). For the interior storage you can only access it from inside the vehicle and outside if a door is open. For the exterior storage you can only access it from the outside with the trunk open. The capacity for interior storage would be 1/4 of the entire capacity. (Where you keep small things like licences and registrations, small guns, phones etc.) And for the exterior storage would be 3/4 of the entire capacity. (You can keep crates, furniture, duffel bags, humans, bulk items, heavy firearms etc.) So that if there's a checkpoint or you are being robbed there will be more possible roleplay interaction than just hauling all the stuffs without even an effort. 1

Good idea!

Yea good one , !
HighTV Posted April 20, 2019 Report Posted April 20, 2019 -1 as it is. This would be a +1 if the normal storage remained accessible how it is. I don't want to see the front and back seats become unusable for storage. Its unrealistic to store everything in the trunk. In real life people use the back seats more than anything. I would like to see the trunks be usable for more than bodies, but removing the normal car storage is not the way. Personally I would like to see Trunks being used as a specialty storage for things like heavy weapons and bags. For heavy weapons: I think going up to a trunk/car to get or store your heavy weapons would be REALLY nice. I don't like the idea of people storing heavy weapons in their personal pockets all the time. I think they should go from storage to being equipped and vice versa. (you could still /dropgun of course) For bags: What if you could place or remove a carried bag in the trunk without a weight restriction? A bag that weighs 90/100 for instance would still only use 20/50 of your trunk space.
