AtlasOLimbo Posted March 22, 2025 Report Posted March 22, 2025 Despite requiring near constant control from the player at all times to earn money, it's (as far as I know) one of the lowest/at the very least worst effort-to-pay ratios. Especially city bussing. You make approximately 6k/hour bussing (before tax). If this falls in line with other jobs please let me know but I feel as though it could use a 10-25% buff. 1 Quote
Quietthecutie Posted March 22, 2025 Report Posted March 22, 2025 I think the "effort required" part of this suggestion is why I agree with it. unlike something like burgershot, roadworkers, even fishing, mining and oil extraction. this isnt something you can tune your head out for as any second youre not driving is a second youre not making money. In all those other jobs listed there is downtime where you can either completely zone out, or youre just doing an easy circle minigame. If anything I think Bus Driving should be one of the most high paid part time jobs because of this. Quote

Along with the fact that any other of the decent jobs (such as oil, or at least it was) are "pay-to-play" such as needing to invest in a large truck for transportation of goods, that kinda thing. Diligo Posted March 29, 2025 Report Posted March 29, 2025 If you increase the pay for the bus drivers, you will see a lot more people using buses for transport. Surely this was not intended? I thought it was for just driving around the city and making it more lively not actually transporting people, right? Sarcasm aside, if the bus routes were recognizable and the pay was solid, it would be amazing for the server with so many interactions. Would love to see that when I get done putting my vehicle at high end, i can just run to a bus stop, wait around for a bit and join a bus full of people talking whatever shit they want to talk about and wait until I get to Legion or other place of interest Quote
