So kind of thing which people might not do is solo chop in chop shops. Its a rage issue where you put a car in a mule it desyncs as shit and throws and destroys your car, as i was told by an admin this is not an ecrp issue but a rage issue, what if we can just buy flatbeds it would solve that issue for us also give cops more rp too

Someone does own one but would a pain for the dev with commands. As mostly u need to part of a faction. Plus would defo be abused in many different ways.

Has to be an easier way to transport cars alone to a chop no?

I mean you taking a risk either way. For a flatbed realistically u need training to operate otherwise makes no sense. Also admin want mech to rp what they are doing with loading and unloading cars. Such as it would just abused by power gaming someone chilling near their car they get out and walk the corner you pull up backside doo the command and steal it without any rp.

 In its current state the flatbed script allows almost any vehicle to be lifted at any tine so long as its stationary and you can reverse up to it. Im sure you can see how easily abused that would be.

Also we are running into both metagaming and faction issues. the faction issue is currently Mechanics are the only faction that can use flatbeds aside from law enforcement, who (much like when they /stabilize cus no MD on) will only pull them to recover totalled vehicles when no mechanics are available. If suddenly anyone was able to tow their vehicles mechanics would get a marked drop in call outs.

There's also the metagaming problem of vehicles being towed are extremely visible, drive past an LEO and despite it being a pretty innocent sight of a flatbed recovering a vehicle, they might not be able to resist the temptation to scan the towed vehicles plate and check it out. Im not saying that would happen, only that it could. the benefit of the mule is that it hides the vehicle properly so this cant happen.

+1 flatbed have been unrestricted in the latest update and hopefully this means someone with a licensed tow company (should the license be created or exist) should be able to purchase or own a flatbed to do recoveries
