Superdizzle78 Posted September 17, 2024 Report Posted September 17, 2024 I know its a game but if I was carrying a duffle bag in real life I would not sit it on the ground to get something out. Putting it on the ground folks can steal grab it and run away. Also makes doing anything fast not possible. If I keep my pistol in a bag and am in a dangerous situation where I need it I wouldn't say hang on bad guy let me put my bag on the ground and get my gun. But just my thoughts. 2 Quote
Quietthecutie Posted September 18, 2024 Report Posted September 18, 2024 The reason you currently cannot pull particularly weapons out of a bag without dropping it is partially a balance decision. Youll notice that unless youre pulling it from a trunk, glovebox, bag or other storage item all weapons will sit proudly on your hip or back. This is to stop people more or less insta drawing their weapon as you described without any warning or indication which when you think about it, would be very broken. That said i would be open to a bag inventory with an /ame and a delay when pulling weapons. Bigger weapons, longer wait time with the /ame floating over them so rply everyone can see you pulling say, a shotgun out of your bag. That way you get all the QoL of a bag in inventory but people cant just cheese hands people with no recourse. Quote

I don't disagree with some notes overhead and a delay I just think having to drop it is broken. Definitely shouldn't be insta pulling out a gun for sure. Quote
Toxine Posted September 21, 2024 Report Posted September 21, 2024 Maybe guns can be implemented as part of the inventory first before having them equipped. So you are not able to insta draw it. But I would love to have the option to use the back as an extension of your inventory (something like the trunk of the car where you can see both at the same time). +1 Quote
