Trucking job prices.

Hello,

I just have a quick suggestion that would make the life of truckers a lot better. Currently it seems (I'm not entirely sure if it is the case) that vendors can choose their own prices for trucking deliveries. A lot of the time truckers are getting screwed over with this as some vendors will pay absolutely nothing for a very long job. Some jobs have very long journeys to get from the depot to the delivery point, i.e. car deliveries from the car depot to Paleto and the vendor is offering 1k per job. This is not worth it for a trucker, having to drive all that way for absolute pennies.

My suggest is to have a mileage cost or something similar added to jobs, because as it stands you would end up paying most of this money on fuel/tolls/repairs. I feel economically this is viable as the amount of money that is being made from these deliveries by the vendor is hugely higher than the amount being paid for the delivery.

Thanks for your time.

Those who place orders for truckers have a minimum that they must add for the trucker based on the value of the items they are ordering.  Don't like the amount you'd get to deliver an order?  Don't take that load.  If it sits long enough without being delivered, I'm willing to bet that the payment would be increased.

This has been suggested in the past and the answer is almost always the same. Its a Truckers economy. if the price is too low. don't take it. over time in the truckers job youll learn to recognise the route being asked and how long it is. for instance i know now the name of the car dealership up north and i know where i collect the cars. so if they are asking for a delivery and post a 1k payment i will not take it. If some other lesser experienced trucker wants to. good luck to them its a waste of time.

I believe the prices are correct as you can earn good money from doing so.

You need to learn what hauls to take within what distance to make the best profit.

I've been trucking for a while now and I'm starting to learn what routes some hauls are.

Hopefully they do increase the refresh rate of more hauls such as the burgershot 3.5K ones, because I do agree it's annoying doing 1.7k ones majority of the time.
