No Spot for a Thief

Within the late hours of a Saturday night, Ace and Rob would be enjoying an evening meal at burger shot before departing for the empire secret Santa nightclub event. Soon after Ace's departure, rob would announce over the radio that a certain blonde gentleman they had talked to, had stolen from robs vehicle, including a precious golden revolver. Ace fed up with petty thieves believing they could get away with such acts was furious from the stress caused by this robbery especially due to the timing that it had been just before the event. Ace upon searching would go back to the nightclub under the impression he would be there.

Upon entering the nightclub, to no surprise, he would find [REDACTED], Aces target, hanging around. he would approach  [REDACTED] at the bar warning him of what would happen if they do not receive the stolen belongings, to which he responded not to threaten him referring Ace to "little guy". Ace scoffed as he ordered whisky where he poured out the alcohol, broke the glass planning an attempt to smuggle the weapon onto  [REDACTED]. However by luck would have it,  [REDACTED] had stepped out the Nightclub only to soon find himself in the trunk of Aces vehicle. In the rush of it all, Ace would throw  [REDACTED] out of the trunk where he would remove his radio and punch him in the face readying a revolver to the back of his head, where rob would appear in front of  [REDACTED] confronting him about the stolen weapon.  [REDACTED] would present himself in an arrogant manner telling them they were "tweaking" for kidnapping, leading to a bash in the head with the revolver Ace had to his head. Now setting a serious tone, Rob would continue to negotiate  [REDACTED] Life, for the gun.  [REDACTED] made it known that he got rid of the gun and he hadn't known that Ace and Rob were "gang members". "then that was on you" Ace replied readying his weapon, before changing the radio to the one taken off  [REDACTED]. Ace would hear familiar voices, it was that of Bratva, an old ally of The Souls who in return for their hang-around, would offer a weapon back to rob to keep the peace.

"do not be mistaken for this is not about a simple stolen weapon, its the principle of the thing".

Ace and Rob both believed the underlying issue was the fact that someone was so arrogant enough to attempt to

steal from peoples cars regardless of who they are and not face consequences. for The Souls aren't a gang, they are a people, They represent the interests of those whom have nowhere to turn too, no shelter to seek - the lost souls who don't trust the cities and its citizens in the hands of law enforcement. The Souls are The Light in darkness, and The beacon of hope to those in need of a helping hand...

A Soul's Shift in Hue
The Souls originated as a group of misfit class civillians whom all shared differenciating tastes in fashion. Whilst the souls encourages individuality, it was time as they grew that they should establish themselves as  a presence that adheres to their ambitions. In the beginning, The SOULS who would pass the trial stage and begin their ascenscion to an archangel would be passed on a pair of white gloves; that of which would represent the light, purity and hope. White also represents their neutrality as it is in fact the colour that ties together all colour. The SOULS however wished to push their diversity from other organizations and stand out as a group that was reliable and trustworthy. As Colour Theory would have it, Royal Blue would represent these ambitions. It is symbolic of that of the steady waves of the sea, and the highest heights of the sky. For The SOULS dedicate sophistication and trustworthiness, These Colours would tie their family together.

Souls Choperations
One of many souls operations include setting up illegal chop shops and selling stolen car parts for money. Although this may seem immoral for some, The Souls put effort into casing each vehicle. As seen as the saints of Los Santos, it's important that targets remain justified, often referring the vehicles back to rich folk, immoral criminals, or dirty cops. The Souls regularly recon and set up chop shops across San Andreas in order to kick back at the corrupt and dirty where it hurts - their prized possessions.

The Souls aren't necessarily a group of car enthusiasts, however they know a good car when they see one, and most importantly they know its story. The story of a car is more important than the car itself when chopping, who owns it? what did they do? All of which concludes their decisions to chop a vehicle.Redemption, Justice, Sesnse of Morality, and having a great fucking time! are the things worth living for The Souls.

On the long road for the souls in their future success, It is The Souls aim to initially bring together the criminal underworld together using a token system within Souls Hotel Grounds, one redeeming quality may be a bounty system for vehicles or private protected chop shops for those who pay and present themselves well in front of The Souls

New Faces 

Ever since the court house  fiasco, The Souls had been laying low, some taking personal time within the ranks as the holiday season sets in. Absence however has not disrupted The Souls actvity and ability to bring in new faces to join their hierarchy. To Join The Souls, Diversity and Unique principles whom share the same goal is a staple to the hierarchy and membership within The Souls. The Souls wishes to represent the people it serves - in its own way, and thus the newest members have come to share these requirements allowing themselves to ascend the hierarchy to archangels.

Being an Archangel comes with added responsibility from being a hang-around. It means you wear the colors, embrace the creed and hold authority over the prospect members.  The Souls have never aimed to be a large group, but with people waking and sleeping at different times, the call for more members to increase workable numbers through the day in Los Santos means more members are welcome - if they share our goals.

The Souls were no longer strangers to suppression, they’d find themselves victim to constant searches and traffic stops, one such occasion had Ace get pulled over for “reckless driving”, however what he didnt know was that AJ was carrying a firearm in the glovebox. They were directed to step out the vehicle so they could perfrom an unwarranted search of the vehicle, However Ace doesn’t co-operate with law enforcement easily. Despite being ID’d, Ace would rather put up a fight than bend over for the law. Ace would quickly drift around 2 corners before the law could even get in their vehicle, thus losing him and issuing a warrant for his arrest.

After a day of being on the run, avoiding the police, Ace would begin to tease his location to the police through many means, once including getting Don Nelson,  new archangel, to drive his car casually around the city where he was pulled over by multiple units who used the utmost caution when stopping him. Failing to ID the driver, assuming it was ace until taking off his mask, the police spent time on nothing however, to Ace, it would be funny to pass by the officers questioning don of ace’s whereabouts and jokingly ask “hey guys, whats going on here?”, Ace immediately drove off on his gargoyle before police could pull their tasers and other weapons out. in pursuit, it took no longer than 30 seconds for ace to out manuever the tailing police kamacho into the hills by the LS Dam where he hid in a bush as the police would search and circle the area. Now with 2 counts of evading, Reckless driving and other crimes, Ace was being looked out for, and on the look out himself, however he took this opportunity to plan out an ambush for when he would then get chased, one last time.Cruising through the streets, mapping out each police units locations, routes and other procedures, Ace planned on an ambush on the roof of the rockford plaza neae LSC. This vantage point was free of sniper nests and had only 2 ways up.

Where the trap was set, The Souls were set. Ace had travelled through the city, to be spotted by officers who were very well aware of Ace’s warrant and who he was. As Ace had passed, it wasn’t long until Ace was in yet again another pursuit, only this time he had a point B, Rockford Plaza. upon arrival, it had been found certain souls DID NOT hide their vehicles, the point in it being a trap was now obvious to the now backing away police, whom would call for backup against The Souls. Each Soul would take on defensive positions at each entrance.  Although The Souls put up  a tough fight, they ultimately knew this would end in a  prison sentence. However with each step they take the fight to PD, SD and The Law itself, The Souls will prosper against corruption, power tripping cops and the lot. The Souls have yet to reach their highest hopes for Urban Los Santos.

A Victory For The Souls

 It was a normal day like any other. Souls were chilling, not doing much of anything, coming down off of a high after some successful work. Aki, Ronny, and Jesse were sitting at Legion Square just hanging out on their bikes when a deputy pulled up in front of the three. Upon recognizing who it was, a sigh was let out in unison. It was none other than the chaotic Deputy Mason Ross. A man of controversy within the Souls. Mason Ross seems to find joy in trying to  bully the Souls, much like a lot of other deputies. However the one thing Mason does get respect for, is that he doesn’t back down, no matter the circumstances he’s in. Through previous interactions, he’s made it clear his disdain for the Souls, which is understandable, he is a cop after all. The Souls have also made it clear numerous times that the Souls don’t stand for the blatant disrespect Mason tends to show them for usually zero reason.  

At this point, the three knew Mason was there to cause trouble for them, as he usually does. He wasted zero time in doing so, announcing loudly over his radio that he had “3 members of Souls sitting in front of him at Legion Parking right now.” Usually this wouldn’t mean anything, but due to the suppression being brought upon Souls, It meant that the three would immediately be harassed while doing nothing but sitting at Legion Square. Aki made it clear she wasn’t doing anything and that Mason needed to keep his distance as she wasn’t in the mood. Jesse and Ronny however, engaged Mason in their usual back and forth banter as he awaited his backup. While “talking” it was clear Mason was getting a rise out of Jesse and Ronny as they started insulting each other. Eventually this led to Ronny saying something questionable to Mason Ross. This led to Mason doing what he does, and snitching on Ronny to his higher up who had just arrived with a trainee at his side. at his side.

Once Ronny was out, he made it clear he was not happy with Mason. Aki and Jesse agreed that he deserved something for his actions. Together they formed a plan to kidnap Mason Ross and do some things to him. Unfortunately this plan went astray once proceeded to get in a pursuit with none other than Mason Ross chasing him. A new plan was devised to lay down a little hurt on Mason and friends to get them to back off. An ambush was set up at Soul Food quickly, and Ronny led them right to the ambush with Jesse, Aki, AJ, and Ravi holding down the fort. Unfortunately due to the Souls history, they didn’t exactly fall for the ambush. Being prepared, they decided to stack up at the front as Ronny went inside the alley way at soul food, and set up a perimeter immediately with the help of PD. This led to the ambush being spotted by a PD officer put on the highway who saw Aki with a gun.

This immediately led to a full blown shoot out, with Aki having to fight off the officer on the highway while the rest dealt with the officers at the front. This unfortunately led to AJ, Ravi, and Ronny being injured as they fought but took down a bunch of the officers before being put out of action. Aki took care of the cop on the highway, while Jesse took care of a couple at the front, eventually leaving Aki and Jesse left to fight the remainder of the cops. However a stroke of luck came about. As Aki was flanking to try and put an end to the remaining officers still in the fight, she heard a lot of heavy gun fire ring out, with an OTF Drauger on the highway approaching her. Her first thought was to escape as she figured they were there to clean up and claim guns, However, OTF proved her wrong as she saw them finishing off the downed cops and eventually killing the last cop standing. They then proceeded to help the Souls get their injured to the hospital. After a brief discussion with OTF, they were rewarded by the souls for the help and kindness towards them with a little money. The Souls then proceeded to initiate their newest member, Ravi Singh, as celebration for their victory that night. Ravi showed incredible loyalty and bravery, taking bullets for AJ in an attempt to save her. The Souls couldn’t be happier to have him that day.

```The (Failed) Breakout.
While AJ and Bella were roaming around Strawberry, a member of the Souls, Ace, who recently was arrested by the LSPD called over radio telling the frequency that he was in one of the guard towers of DOC. Although he didn't ask for it, Bella and AJ thought this was a great opportunity to try and sneak one of their own out of the Department of Corrections.

They raced to Eclipse and grabbed some rope for the planned escape. On the way toward the highway the infamous detective Samuel Martin was chasing a suspect, colliding with the girls in doing so...

Soon after making sure he wasn't dead, and his best friend Jason Steel arrived to ensure his safety from The Souls. AJ and Bella continued to DOC, they stopped to get some full white clothes to blend with the snowy landscape.

Once prepped they needed to find Ace, who had not been on the radio since his first call about 5-10 minutes before. The pair got on some high ground and scouted the prison, seeing on the rooftop 3 individuals in the familiar DOC jumpsuits. 

Before the plan could be formulated and executed, the girls saw the correctional officers along with law enforcement climb the building and give chase to the inmates. A few tazer prongs, and an attempted Caracara getaway from Ace, all of the inmates were caught, and returned to the cellblock. 

Mission Failed. ```

The Departure

with days turning into weeks, weeks turning into months, Ace had been bending backwards for The SOULS, trying to maintain a loose order where freedom was still allowed however people would remain within the same principles and order. With unwavering loyalty and dedication to the gang-  he felt cheated out of a 2nd in commanding post in the souls when Bella Cruz whom Ace did not respect as a member of the souls had bested him. This wasnt taken lightly by ace who had raised his concerns for the decision made as it hadnt been processed through the gang however being made final by one leader. Ace felt this created a dictatorship where the Souls had no voice in opinions of the matter, he saw how bella would be disrespectful rude to himself and fellow gang members, even taking on a far too heavy handed approach, especially when coming to turf. Ace would discuss the matter of turf with Bella in a high command meeting where he was told to listen to what Bella had to say where her decision was made final. This only angered Ace more with time to come. never ending waves of suppression would hit the souls on daily basis's, Leading Ace to want to set up an ambush against the law for their interference in their activities to which bella quickly shut down, this lead to heated argument over radio as to what the real principles of souls actually are where ace had made the point that bella was illegitimate in her position and she wasnt dedicated based on her attitude towards the court house plan 2 months prior.

As long as Bella stayed, Ace could not respect the leadership in souls, He had felt he gave it all however it wasnt enough anymore not could it be. Finding himself in conflict with himself and his open “insubordination” Ace had felt he had no longer fit the new souls ideals despite trying to work on change. With the final words of rob before smashing his radio “you’re runining this gang”, Ace had finally gave in. No longer was he apart of The Souls.

The Souls were enjoying the festive season, many members went to see family & friends far from Los Santos. But some stayed to enjoy the city. As Christmas came and went, The Souls continued to bond through their work and time together, taking opportunities to do things together.

Gator, the founder and co-leader of The Souls arrived back in the city, joining the group for a meeting where they were catching up with each other, presenting promotions and discussing what's next.

Marking seniority in the gang, The Souls are given tattoos. It represents being welcomed to the group, loyalty and commitment to the cause.

After spending a day making money and catching up with each other. The Souls took some time to themselves to let loose. They travelled to one of their old spots by the bank, overlooking the city. Climbing up on the roof gave the group privacy to have fun and goof off, making jokes and telling stories.

New Blood.
The Souls don't have a need for a lot of members in the gang, quality over quantity is the term often used, but finding the right people isn't easy. With the Souls losing two members of command after a break-down, the group was open to receive new people into the fold. The process for becoming a hang around starts with a simple conversation; "Who are you? What do you do? What are you goals?" is the common start point. Answer in a way the pleases the group, then welcome in. If not, then they can look elsewhere.  

[REDACTED] was found by two of the Souls' enforcers, they spoke to him and although inexperienced he appeared confident and Jeffe along with Winston brought him to Soul Food for him to meet Aki. The conversation was brief, but humorous and positive - he passed that first test. Following would be a trial period of around a week, would Lucifer fit in? Or would he not fit the mould? Only time would tell... 

Although recruitment was a tool to get more members, it was important that current members were able to gain experience from one another. Ash (AJ) was keen to learn about the criminal underworld. It was more in depth than first thought, so she looked to the gang for mentorship, specifically Bella. 

The two spoke long, and in depth about how notable characters in the turfs worked, and why it is important to provide them with what they ask for to maintain influence and to grow the gang's power. 

Short and sweet. The lesson concluded with AJ's understanding of this small part of the big picture.

Willy Bostigan has returned! After Months of absence one of the original members of The Souls is back and ready for action. Sometimes life outside of the city can be cruel and Willy is no exception of dealing with hardships. Upon returning to the city He made contact with his old gang and was immediately recruited into the hunt of a former member. Without hesitation, Willy jumped into a vehicle, strapped and ready. Although the pursuit was short lived and interrupted by the corrupt law enforcement of Los Santos, he was welcomed back with open arms, as he was dearly missed by all. Now that he has returned, his number one priority has been to focus on building the treasury and finding the right legal ally to help open the Restaurant he has worked tirelessly to build. His leadership and commitment to the organization will be another step toward their success!

After an eventful week that was packed with internal changes, The Souls returned to business. Over the course of about 2 very successful days of trading with other gangs, their stock of drug ingredients were running very low. 

This wasn't a problem. Impressed with the control The Souls had over Strawberry, the Cartel, were more than happy to provide the gang with the space on their smuggler's vessels for goods for the gang to import. So they did. Bella took the lead and throughout the night ordered 1000s of ingredients. The supplies came through thick and fast, but The Souls were there to collect from their generous suppliers...

Beach Trip.
The Souls are known to hang out at their HQ, the Soul Food Restaurant in Strawberry, it's where they normally conduct their day to day business, receive visitors and enjoy one another's company. But today was a bit different. Gator took his Command team on a trip to the beach. 

The gang enjoyed a catch up out of their normal spot, catching some sun and f*cking around acting as families often do. Including spending time with the gang's pets. 

After a few hours past, the group made plans for the coming days notably on the weekend, the group known as OTF were hosting a BBQ/Block Party The Souls were keen to attend.

It was Sunday, and members of the Souls made their way to the restaurant for the weekly meeting. Gator took the lead as usual and introduced [Redacted] to the group, [Redacted] would be helping Soul Food run as a legal business to actually contribute to the community we promised to help. After [Redacted] left, Gator began briefing the gang on various topics in the world of crime. Next was Willy, he spoke about the upcoming 'Grand Opening of Soul Food' which the group was excited for.
 

As Willy finished talking - Aki took over, telling the group about potential deals with better connected gangs than our own - it was at this point a faint noise was heard at the door, followed then by a stream of well armed LSPD Gangs and Narcotics and METRO officers demanding everyone in the room put their hands up. A Raid? On a legally operating business. "What the fuck?" was the shared thoughts of the members inside. 

The Souls were cuffed and searched. 2 members were found to have small pistols on them, and 1 just had a little bit ammo. But what was the point in this raid?
 

Aki. According to the cops, Aki was wanted for murder, although she was only recently released from the DOC, so as much as this was confusing and frustrating, the charges were placed and she was in cuffs. The 4 members of the Souls were transported under heavy guard to prison.

This wouldn't go unpunished...

Over the radio it was communicated that an overly out-spoken deputy was setting a speed trap on the highway near DOC. Mason Ross. He would run his mouth and tease excessively members of the Souls if he had the chance to transport them. The Perfect target. Aki, along with Arthur and Oliver held up the Deputy and his partner, taking them by surprise. Stripping their equipment and hijacking their car. Aki and her small team were determined to make these agents of the law understand the workload of being a criminal and how their words of jeering meant little in grand scheme of the criminal world. 

The two deputies were brought to the grapeseed store, and the crime spree began, but with a twist...```

Russian Resolutions
The Souls are known in the city for being ‘good’ with everyone, well... More neutral, the gang will work with people who work with them. As the goal of the Souls is, and always has been to ‘Help’.
However The Souls do not accept disrespect, especially unfounded disrespect. Most things can be resolved with words, but sometimes the only way to get the message across is with violence.
The weekend was full of events, and between the fun, was the issues. Two individuals took it upon themselves to show disrespect and threaten members of the Souls. One was gunned down but evaded vindication via the LSPD, and the other was over zealous with his language toward the females in the gang who were trying to enjoy their day.
Put on the back burner, dealing with these two turned into a secondary task while the gang continued their weekend routines. Until it was spotted that a vehicle belonging to one of the two was outside Bratva’s HQ - A close friend of The Souls. The timing was perfect, as the Russians were in a meeting of their own.
The two people the Souls were after were associates of the Bratva, therefore they were under their protection. And the matters were discussed in detail. An understanding of respect was injected to both sides of the situation and the situation was peacefully resolved.

The Needs & Must
The start of the week was busy The Souls were keeping their turfs full of goods that were needed to keep their influence high, but their points of contact kept wanting more more more. No problem. If it made the gang money, then it was something they would provide. The racer group known as Mid Night Club also needed to make some money, they spoke to Gator and they agreed, so the two groups joined forces and set the wheels of a night of crime in motion. The plan was simple; work hard, fight hard. The force of the two groups combining forces was good, however this would be multiplied with heavy weaponry. The task force armed up and headed to the bank to make a withdrawal. Next was stores, still heavily armed as a deterrent to Law Enforcement, the gangs raided stores in the city, filling their pockets with cash. A few engagements with the Law occurred, losses were felt on both sides, however, overall: Success.
