Eliza Posted July 8, 2024 Report Posted July 8, 2024 This is mostly self explanatory, but there’s been a slight uptick of players submitting AI generated pictures of their characters, and I believe it should be disallowed to submit AI generated images of your characters on Lifeinvader, it really breaks the immersion of it being an IC social media platform, and is already mentioned in the Lifeinvader rules. Players may not use real-world images depicted as their character. I do understand and agree that it looks cool, but it should remain as an OOC thing. My suggestion would be just an addition to clarify this. Quote
Quietthecutie Posted July 8, 2024 Report Posted July 8, 2024 -1. "real-world images" The ruleset makes no mention of AI generated ones. frankly the games beginning to show its age and a little AI sprucing seems fine to me. 1 Quote
Mikazuki Ueno Posted July 8, 2024 Report Posted July 8, 2024 (edited) I don't see the issue with a user using an avatar as their image or even claiming it to be 'them' - we haven't frozen IC time, and I think it would be more immersive to see avatars and such on a social platform these days than.. not?
