Also change the rate food goes bad pleaseeee 

Perhaps ctrl X and right click the vending machine to be able to edit / add food into it instead of having a constant list of ugly floating text

I agree with this 100%. I've had food spoil so much quicker than it needs to, and there's no real way to preserve them any further.

I like the design and layout and this makes total sense.

I actually really like the idea and look. I just worry that this will get filed under "doesn't impact game, not a priority."

The current system might not look great. but its functional, does the task and everyone knows what a donut looks like. 

As for extending food spoilage. I think thats something every Player can get behind, but so far as the devs go they will question if this will stagnate burgershot and other food sources.

About the vending machine design, I dont personally care as I dont use them that much and it literally doesn't affect anything. But about the food going bad I could agree, but not fully. I dont think that the food should go bad slower, I believe that you shouldn't buy that much food if you cannot consume it and if you do manage to buy more than you need, store in the fridge which will keep your food fresh. What I would stand behind tho is to make that the food doesn't go bad if you're not online. My main issue with that has been when I came back online after a day or so and the food that was fine last night is now spoiled in my inventory. 

So +1 for food not going bad if you're character is not in-game!
