ChronoFunk
The title is pretty self explanatory, since working at Bayview I've noticed how many dumb mech requests we get with just 1 letter that get cancelled straight away by people only doing it to see how many are on duty. It's weird and feels kinda MGish. When you use /mechanic, it should just say that mechanics have received your request and tell you when 1 responds to the request. It's weird that it tells you exactly how many are on duty at any given time.
Requiem
Agreed that examples like yours above should not be allowed and the feature should not be used for any MG purposes, however, I think its still important to know when no mechanics are on duty if you send in a request so you don't sit around wasting time waiting for a request that will never be accepted. hrxvey
it also makes life way easier if you know there are only two mechanics on, usually one at lsc, one at bayview, meaning you'll get no service at your mechanic request, i don't think its to gain an advantage in any way to be honest, just to save you wasting your time on the server
Jonaseriksen07
Just add another command where you do /lsc or /Bayview. You then get a answer straight away where you are informed of how many current mechanics is at the location you called.
Ritchie Stones
If you would call a mechanic, and nobody picks up. You know theres no mechanics…… if you chek a website to see how manny are open isnt that a bit the same? 1 1

Puzzling
-1 DCC App has a count for how many taxi drivers are on shift same should be for mechanics so you don't waste time waiting. As stated in previous comments, not everyone plays for 5 hours a day so no need to waste that time hoping for a reply. Realistically LSC/Bayview should be on the phone instead of commands but that's another topic. 1
