That’s a little steep, because in situations where you want to try a car out for a couple of hours before fully purchase. Or luxury 1/1 vehicle rentals.

It's basically a /Pay [ID] [Amount] with a timer of when the keys should be automatically taken away from the other party without any interaction after the deadline. You can already hand out keys to players for rental purposes. It's just that some optimizations are needed regarding the vehicle despawn timer, repairs and the house parking script and I believe there are already suggestions about them. Altogether, a contract can be rply set-up for rental purposes with the specifications which opens up more doors for roleplay and the intentions cannot always be 'renting the vehicle'. Ash Posted March 2, 2022 Report Posted March 2, 2022 You can achieve this exact scenario with basic RP currently I don't think there's much need for it to be scripted. It would be convenient don't get me wrong, but I don't think it's a necessary and could potentially hinder scam RP.

Just makes rp situations easier when a script is supporting it.

cautiouscrowe Posted May 9, 2022 Report Posted May 9, 2022 -1 simply because there's already several ways to get around town such as city bee and taxi service and I feel like allowing players to have a convenient way without risk to themselves to rent their cars would just make less opportunities for taxi drivers.
