I had just got into the city from Australia and I knew no one and had nowhere to go, A fresh start.
I ordered a taxi to take me to the DMV to get my drivers license, This is where I met Ace Rellet, he was the driver of the cab.
Whilst on route to the DMV we got talking, Ace could tell I was new to the city and he told me about a Motorcycle Club, Diablos MC, that he was a Sgt at Arms of.
I was intrigued and coming from Australia I had heard about Motorbike clubs, as I didn't have any family or friends in the city and I had heard this city can be dangerous at the best of times as I would soon find out.
Thinking this would be a great chance to meet people along with my love of motorcycles, I went to meet the Diablos. Later that night, I met a member of the club Howie and the next day, Happy, Charlie and Scott. These guys from day one have been there for me and for that I owe them a lot.
This club has become more than a Motorcycle Club, it's a band of brothers and sisters, always looking out for one another, helping any way they can. These are the principles that I follow, so it was an easy decision to join the club.
Charlie, Happy and Ace, gave me my Prospect patch and I took it with pride and sewed it on right there and then. When I first rode with the Diablos, it was one of the most important moments of my life, Seeing the formation from the back is a thing of beauty, seeing everyone turn their heads watching us ride through the city or pulling up to events and asking us who we are and we proudly say we are Diablos MC.
I will do anything for this club, it's not a club for me, it's my family, I will look after them and they will look after me. I'm glad Ace was the first person I met in the city, because if I hadn't, who knows where I would be now.
