Hard +1 Is this a rule that might need some fine tuning! Absolutely, but genuinely, the fact that you can avoid demands so easily is insane.

Just wanted to way in on this. (And let me be clear! I understand what your saying and appreciate your opinion... This is not meant to be argumenative, just to debate). Good RP should be rewarded, especially if you want it to be the norm. It's Positive Reinforcement which psychology shows us is vastly important to keeping a behaviour that way. Just because we expect good rp doesn't mean that that is going to come. And what is expected really, is neutral RP with no rule breaks, GOOD RP is strong character development and interesting scenarios. People who aren't afraid to lose money or belongings for the sake of good rp. People who aren't in a win/lose mindset but unfortunately, that is the way a lot of people are. Is that bad rp? No! People put time and effort and want to keep what they worked for... but that's the difference between RP, and GREAT RP. A great RPer understands that fun scenarios doesn't mean winning, it means making interesting stuff happens! Who cares if you won a gun fight. Is that what you remember? No! It's why that gun fight happened. It's that dude who decided to steal a cab and take out the parts infront of the cab driver becuase he was homeless and needed cash! It's that guy who is speaking in an old man voice who is falling over because his bones hurt even if it means he caught by the police. Interesting characters, interesting scenarios... that breeds good rp. That should be rewarded! And honestly, an RP appreciation form, and hell, a couple credits for people who get it constantly from a wide variety of people never hurts!

Overview - It would be useful for people to have easier access to new forum posts that interest them. Whether its to see what a gang has been doing, to a suggestion they may want to +1. Who is the suggestion for? - Active players who use the forums (legal factions, illegal factions, suggestions, rp showcase, e.t.c.) Why is the suggestion being made? - I struggle to go on the forum myself to be honest, but I often frequent the discord. There has to be many players like this as well! People always leave discord up while they game, theres a reason crash reports go there and not the forum. This forum is a great place, but we need to bring people over to it by tying it to the discord server! What are the pros and/or cons of the suggestion? -Better vision of RP that is occurring in the city! More vision on things that are happening by various people in the city. More vision on suggestions. More vision on the forum! Happier Players that feel like great RP is happening! How should the suggestion be implemented? - Make a channel in the discord server called #forum-posts under the category General or Advertisements

It's been a while since ze last update. So what has DoubleDs has been up to since we last posted. Well it's been a lot of earning money to setup our actual business. Previously, we applied four our business licensing, but we actually got it approved. Afterwards though, in our last post, we came back with 3 main goals. 1. A physical location 2. A custom menu 3. Employees. Here is how that has gone. In our last post, we applied for a location located at 8 South Rockford Drive. We showed a picture of the exterior. Since then, we have waited a while and gone through all the government channels. We are proud to say that as of August 28th, it is officially OUR NEW HOME! Here is the contract: Yeah... it was expensive as hell. That's just the down payment, we still owe 2 million! But we hope to get there with the support of the community! We will be designing the interior soon, and planning a grand opening! But speaking of community outreach, lets look at our next topic on the docket! So we want to be a part of the community. We want to have a custom menu that people will enjoy. I hate to break the bad news but we still do not have a custom menu or menu art. Our menu art is currently being designed alongside a potential custom menu to pass through the government. But we have done 1 major initiative. Our Form! We are hoping to convince the government to let us open a food delivery wing with DoubleDs. And, to do this, we have created an interest form that the people of Los Santos can sign to say they would use our DoubleDash service! Well, DoubleDs is proud to announce our FIRST PARTNER! This man is... JT WESTEN! JT Westen will be our Chief Operations Officer for our delivery business. He is currently working on a pilots license so that we can airdrop food (and potentially other products) to Los Santos, as well as possessing both a driver and trucker license to deliver food by vehicle. He will be assisting with DoubleDash as well as our other service Doubois Deliveries. That being said, it is a long term goal to have them both run through the same app! Anyways, that is pretty well all we have from this section! We are currently looking for employees, but need to get fully setup first! So you ask, what are our future goals from this point. Well our next 3 goals are as follows: 1. Design interior of DoubleDs -This will include hiring an interior designer to build us a stage, as well as a flamboyant interior that can have guests feel like they are eating at Olympus... or atleast the best restaurant in Los Santos! 2. Prepare Custom Menu -This includes finding out what the people of Los Santos want to eat and having the art designed for the menus 3. Get 50-100 signatures on our interest form -This will help us bring DoubleDash to life.

There is a similar suggestion below but I think it needs to be addressed again. Who is the suggestion for? - New players and constant players alike Why is the suggestion being made? - I think morale on the server can be low sometimes, and especially new players who don't get to see intense roleplay off the bat. This will show them that there are a variety of good roleplay moments that happen day to day, and will make the community feel good by seeing a lot of it out there. What are the pros and/or cons of the suggestion? Pros: -Increases the chance of solid rp by giving people public acknowledgement of creating strong, fun, and inspiring roleplay scenarios -Shows new players the quality of RP happening on the server from day to day -Makes returning players who constantly bring good rp to the server feel good and rewarded for providing good rp -Boosts morale on the server as you always here about the negative rp and reports, but never about the good rp that are driving server life and activity. Cons -Could be a spammy channel -May see some players get glazed by their friends How will this affect players on ECLIPSE Roleplay? -I believe it will increase the likeliness of seeing good, strong RP, and take away some of the win/loss rp mentality we see from many players, especially on the crim side of life. How should the suggestion be implemented? - I believe that it would be beneficial to make a discord channel under general called #rp-appreciation that should have a format similar to the suggestion listed below. It should include the character name, their discord ID, the date, why you appreciated their RP. There could also be the option to include a link to a clip from the rp. and lets face it, new players are more likely to check the discord. Please +1 this if you think it's a good idea!

DoubleDs "MORE THAN A TASTE!" Anything found in this thread is meant to be taken strictly out of character and is not to be used in character for any reason. Dubois Dining was invented by Phillippe Dubois along with his beloved wife Rebecca Dubois in the 1950s in Lyon, France. It began as a singular restaurant called "Dubois Diner." It acted as a mom and pops shop with the hope of bringing the best tasting food in Lyon. Knowing that this challenge would be difficult, especially in a city with many culinary masters such as Lyon, Phillippe honed his craft and came up with a variety of recipes to try and top the competition. However, Rebecca knew that was never going to be enough, but everyone knows taste isn't solely about the food. Yes, the flavour, spices, quality, and preparation of the food is important, but equally as important is the presentation. What are your other senses doing while you wait for your food. What are they doing as you enjoy your food. These are the questions Rebecca asked. That's when she began working on the presentation. She decorated the restaurant 1000 different ways, experimented with smells, different songs, even as far as the specific textures of table cloths and utensils. After almost five years of preparation, they had developed a formula that worked for the 50s and 60s. They were able to become a large restaurant in Lyon based on their experience in the restaurant, and eventually through the delivery of their food. But what does that have to do with Los Santos? Well, in 2025, a young man by the name of Jean-Phillippe Dubois moved to the city. He had tried the local cuisine and... wait the local cuisine... allow me to correct myself. Monsieur Dubois tried a Sandwich from Motorsnacks, and after hours of waiting for an employee, a Burgershot Burger. These left him deeply unsatisfied... He had tasted better food in the DCC Vending Machines. His AIRPLANE FOOD ON THE RIDE OVER PLEASED HIM MORE! That's when Jean-Phillippe Remembered his grandparents. He knew what he had to do. He was going to bring Dubois Dining to Los Santos. He knew he would need a different name to make it a little catchier. Afterall, not everyone loves the French. That's when it hit him! What is more American than Double Ds! This faction is about one very simple thing... Bringing great food and a great experience to the people of Los Santos. DoubleDs is hoping to reach into the untapped market of Restaurants in Los Santos to try and allow a new point of interest. We want to rival Burgershot by acting as a higher-end restaurant that also allows for Drive-Through and a Delivery Service. DoubleDs is all about bringing you Great Food, Your Way. Want great dining and live music? We'll provide it. Want something quick right to your door. We got you! The ultimate goal with this faction is to provide something new for Civilian life. We want a new legal job that is similar to the Burgershot Freelance Job but with more structure (and hopefully by product, active employees). We also think that through providing things like food delivery, and hopefully new food types, it will allow for more interest in culinary in the city. It also allows for RP opportunities if we obtain a location. We can host live musicians or run our own DJ within the restaurant. We hope to provide a fun legal job that also allows for a plethera of RP opportunites. *Warning: This story may contain graphic details regarding the torture of another human being, discretion is advised* Red, Dead and Redemption It was a cloudy day in Los Santos. Messiah had recently got fired from his taxi job for a list of different “crimes” that were found in his background check. This caused him to wake up later than usual, exercising his new found freedom in withdrawing from the standard ways of being a member of the working class. He rolled out of bed, walked up the stairs, poured himself a glass of chocolate milk and looked at his amazing view of Los Santos. He contemplated various ideas, the meaning of crime when it stacks up to the foundations of Natural Law. He thought about his exit from the DCC - the kindness of some on his exit and the cruelty of others. He pondered how much more the anger meant to him compared to the respect he was shown by the rest. His thoughts drifted, he sipped on the chocolate milk as he looked at all the highrises that graced his vision. He looked over towards the West, seen the water flow, then to the east as he saw the bars hustling. Messiah thought about all the different types of people in the city, then thought about his brother Grant, who had been failed by Los Santos to keep him safe and out of trouble. Messiah put on his suit and tie. He packed his bag with all the protection he’d need for the day. He turned on his radio and dawned the white skull mask. He then left to start his day. Messiah headed down to the pier where most of Salvation had been. Very few of them were having a good day, and it did not help that it began raining. Spirits however, were being raised by the banter. They were chatting with each other while they fished, while Dallas and Esco were talking to some of the locals, spreading the message, and rolling some fish. That was until Esco got challenged to a race. Himself against a lady named Camille. “This is going to be a free one-thousuand dollars” Esco said excitedly over the radio. “Better be” responded Griz slyly. The race began when something peculiar happened. Griz received a notification that his car was being broken into. The car alarm silently sounded as he called out to Salvation. Fishing rods were thrown to the side quicker than the flash running a 100m as Salvation stormed the shrek-coloured haired man trying to break into the car. “What do you think your doing” asked Messiah “I’m taking my friend's car.” Responded the man calmly. “Who’s your friend?” Griz asked harshly as though to make it clear that Salvation believed he was lying. “Just a guy I met over there watching a race, he said it’s his friend’s car and it’d be funny.” Dallas began walking over to the man he pointed at as Griz continued to question him. “What were you going to do with the car?” Griz asked “None of your business, why do you care!” The man responded in anger. As Salvation circled him, many people at the pier were drawn towards the situation and began yelling to kill him. These people were disregarded as the questioning continued. “Dallas, what his friend say” Messiah said over the radio. “Doesn’t know the guy.” Dallas Responded. “Esco where are you?” Messiah asked. “The girl from the race ran off, I think she has something to do with it.” The green haired man would be pressed about this situation but due to the busy nature and angry mob at the pier, Salvation offered him to go somewhere more secluded. He was blindfolded, put into the back of Griz’s car and driven to a new location… To Be Continued.

TRCC pulled up one of our houses trying to rob us... He was voted irrideemable. A black tie was left on his corpse to represent his failure to comply with the vision. A man wronged us... so we gave him a chance to redeem himself... but he let his big ego get carried away and couldn't see the bigger picture. Salvation Everyone agrees something is broken in Los Santos. Society as a whole has failed each other. From cops who have spit in the faces of the people, to gangs who have hurt the hard working man, to civilians who pretend to be innocent but deep inside know they’ve sinned. At the end of the day, every person in Los Santos wants the city to be better, but no one is willing to fight for a change. Well… We are. We are here to reset society… We are here to make a fundamental difference. Some may say we’re a gang or a cult… We believe we are a movement. We are what happens when the government fails to fix the problem…Natural law has kicked in. We will control. We will rummage through the city and Judge the living, and the dead. We won’t stop until we bring Salvation! Salvation is a criminal family that hopes to bring a movement to Los Santos. We are predominately made up of a few types of people who you encounter in your everyday life: The working class, the criminals, and the outcasts. One thing every person in this group has in common, we are fed up with the way Los Santos has treated us and are here to change it. We are based in an apartment in West Vinewood. We want to gain control and moderate the city ourselves. Legally: We are a group of bodyguards who will protect people for payment. However, at the end of the day we are vigilantes who want to control the illegalities of Los Santos. Our Current Turf: Lisburn, Ireland, 1987, the Irish Republican Alliance has risen up against the British Rule and various sectors of the Irish Government. Biker gangs rome the streets, Mobs have begun settling in. It is a scary place, filled with violence beneath the streets that people call home. Nobody speaks of it, but everyone knows that Lisburn is one small shootout from annihilation. Tensions are high between gangs and the government has failed to regulate it. The working class has turned on eachother and begun leading lives of crime, meanwhile police officers are corrupting. A man named Romeo Myers is walking home from his job in the factory where he constructs bullet casings that are later used by the government. He is miserable but is doing what it takes to provide for his family. His neighbourhood is like a second family, and are all working to keep each other safe. As he walks through his neighbourhood, he hears a loud bang… followed by another…. And another. A shootout begins between the IRA and the Coffin Droppings causing Romeo to duck behind a nearby house. He is promptly dragged inside by homeowner, Rory O'Ceallaigh. Romeo, panicked, would look around the room to see men in white ties and white skull masks. This was the day he would join what would eventually be known as An tSlánaithe, which translates to Salvation. These men would fight to take control of Lisburn through criminal means. They believed if they could control the criminal trades, along with a heavy amount of the cashflow, they could restore Lisburn. They started off with petty crimes such as mugging, store robberies and occasionally kidnapping. They would use this money to front their drug operations. They were fairly successful in this line of work. Unfortunately, when they got into Gun Running, everything changed. When receiving a shipment of Brownings from the French, Rory loaded them in the back of his truck. He slowly walked to the drivers seat and buckled his seatbelt. As he turned the key, an ignition bomb would blow him and the two men in his car to smithereens. Salvation would never recover. During Rory’s burial, a white tie would be placed on his coffin. The day after the funeral, Romero took over Salvation and a new trademark began. White ties would be laid on any member of Salvations coffins after death along with any families or friends of members. Red Ties would be laid on any bodies found in Lisburn that Salvation members came into contact with without knowing. Black ties would be laid on bodies of those deemed irredeemable such as IRA members or Coffin Droppers. Although their influence grew, the other gangs were just too dominant in the city and they would be picked off one by one. In 1993, one last mission would be set by the Salvation, kill John Hendron, the leader of the IRA. The 121 members stormed the hq but by the end, only three remained, one of which was Romero. During the massacre, Romero was able to put a bullet in the second in command, Connor O’Shea. He realised after a failed mission, he would have to flee Ireland. He took his son Michael and got on a boat to Canada. His son Michael would start his own family with his wife Angelina having three sons, Grant, Max, and Jacub. Grant was an unruly teenager and began the life of crime from the age of 13, something his father never supported. Much of his crime were petty muggings but each plan was based on his grandfather’s stories. Max would also be dragged into this life but was never sure this is what he wanted to be. He knew he wanted to make a difference, but never knew how. This all changed when his father went to prison for a crime he didn’t commit. Michael was charged with murder despite a lack of evidence due to a corrupt cop. From that day, Max wished to be a criminal defence attorney. He studied Criminology in University and would obtain his JD, During this time he experienced the death of his grandfather who left him the Salvation Skull Mask. Max never knew what to do with it. After University, Max left Ottawa and went to Los Santos, hearing that is where the land of opportunity was. In Los Santos, he would meet a man named Issac. Both men became middle-class members of society. They were mistreated and being robbed by different gangs and felt like the cops were spitting in their face. They realised how corrupt the city of Los Santos had become with a lack of control. Due to this reason, Max decided to join an italian mob where he would meet a man named Chad. Eventually, Max realised that this mob was evil and only in it for the money, although they protected him… he knew he wanted to do something more. One night after being robbed in the streets of Los Santos, Max went home to notice the Skull Mask sitting on his nightstand. He held it in his hands and stared at it. He then placed it on his hand and in that moment, he knew what he needed to do.. -Gain trustworthy members who are willing to die for the cause and each other. -Begin connections with other gangs -Gain money to set up operations and gain power. (Money = Power) -Gain influence and control through expanding our turf. -Gain influence and control through entering the drug trade -Gain influence and control through entering the gun trade. -”Rehabilitate” Los Santos The Messiah -The Messiah is the leader of the gang. He ultimately calls the shots and is responsible for motivating Salvation to achieve the vision. He must make sure no one forgets what Salvation stands for. The Messiah must look classy and be professional at all times around Salvation and other factions. Judges -These are the closest men to the Messiah. Each is responsible for different divisions such as Gun-running, Drug Trafficking, Recruitment, and Rehabilitation. They are the upper management of the Salvations. They tend to have classier styles but not necessarily suits. They each have some uniqueness that is represented by their codename. For Example: This is Trigger (Issac) who has a militant look. The highest judge is referred to as Yuhwei. Bishops -Bishops are directly below Judges and act as Salvations-Low Command. They run prophets and Saviours from ground level when Judges are not available or are busy with other tasks. Prophets -Prophets are directly below Judges. They usually run with the judges but when Salvation needs to split up, they tend to be the heads of their own groups. They follow orders given to them by the Judges. They are allowed to vote. They must be dressed in a white leather jacket, white tie, white skull, and white pants. Saviours -Saviours make up the bulk of the gang. They have been in the gang for a while and have been vouched for by a prophet +. They have earned their way into becoming a Saviour and are a valued member of Salvation. They are allowed to take part in votes. They must be dressed in the black and white jacket shown in the picture below with a white undershirt, white tie, white skull, and white pants (Camo or solid). Initiates/Sinners After being judged and completing their initiation stages, members will fall under one of two categories, Initiates and Sinners. Initiates are those who were deemed to be pure at heart and are prepared to join the movement. They report to the Prophets and must earn their way to become saviours. Sinners are those who were deemed to be evil and must be rehabilitated. Judges will work with the Sinners to rehabilitate them and make them pure at heart. They must work harder to ever hope to become a Saviour. Initiates are expected to wear White Ties whereas Sinners must wear red ties. Their clothing are not as strict as Saviours and Prophets but must be primarily white and be wearing a skull mask. During this stage you will also be given a code name. TBJ (To Be Judged) These are people yet to be initiated into the gang but wish to join. They must wear a white skull mask and be primarily dressed in white without a tie. -Should you fail to follow this code, punishments will be voted on -We are a family, we look out for each other and never harm one another -Killing is not taken lightly and must only be conducted on those deemed to be irredeemable, or orders from a judge or higher. -All bodies seen by a member of Salvation must have a tie placed in their pocket (inventory). White for the pure, Red for the unknown, Black for the evil -Should a person who is deemed pure be killed, a ceremony will be held in which we will pray to the Catholic God in that he follows our judgement and allows them safe passage into a better place. -When in public together, members must refer to each other as their code names. OOC Rules -Do not use our discord to talk to each other about In Character things. -Cannot become a Prophet if affiliated with other gangs -Must have more than 10000 XP to become a Saviour -If you are going to be inactive for a long period of time (3 days or more), please let us know in advance. -Do not argue with admins as their say is final. Recruitment must be conducted by a judge or higher. Recommendations are allowed by Prophets and Saviours. All recruits start at the TBJ stage where they will be interviewed by Judges or The Messiah. The Judges and Messiah will vote on whether they are pure at heart. This will determine whether or not they can become an Initiate or Sinner. Afterwards, they will be given a task that they must carry out to prove themselves to Salvation. If successful, they will be initiated and given a code name. The Messiah, Judge Trigger, Echo and Esco awaiting a TBJ. Max Myers has recently arrived to the city. He is a city-boy from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada who has a bachelors of Criminology and a Juris Doctor. He has two siblings, Grant and Jacub and hopes to create a happy, wealthy life in his new place of residency.
