If there will be offline jail time then people will not be scared of punishment, which will surely boost crimes in city, i.e., murder/crime, get caught/surrender, go offline, come back online, go kill 2 more people, get caught/surrender, go offline, come online, repeat. It will ruin every other rp and it will also spoil criminal RP. This suggestion is going to make criminal RP boring.

Criminal Rp Right is doing something risky for an hour, getting caught and serving one and a half to five hours in DOC, where new players you kill after asking you for your stamps run out of the cell they just spawned from asking you to kiss them.

The server needs more activity and action and big scenes, this suggestion was made by a GFU member (Meaning he cant have an active criminal) and I see other members of his division in PD saying the same exact thing on this thread. The length of prison sentences and the fact that there is absolutely no way of shortening them or making them less painful to bear is the reason why criminal roleplay is already boring.

Don't do crimes, if you wanna do crime then plan it out, so you don't get caught.

If police is chasing, why running away? Surrender because you can tabout to watch Netflix. -_- log back in again commit crime again, surrender and continue with your series. Borrinnngggg!!!!

As for this? Ill make sure its all planned out in future thanks for the insight bud.

-1 Personally, I would rather more script support and updates added to DOC, rather than changes to DOC fines and times.

I think down the line this is something @Chunder is going to be absolutely instrumental in. That being said, right now something has to happen. If I was a New Player nowadays and I got 3-5 hours in prison on an RP server I would be severely demotivated to log back in ever again. @WindEZ Is right having people sitting in DOC tabbed out watching netflix and people holed up in properties cooking impacts how many people are out and about actively Rping.

    +1 From me tbh.

  3. There are a lot of new factions up and coming and I'm glad I can be there to witness them grow and impact ECRP for the better. This is one of those factions. I am looking forward to the character and story development because I see old and new faces from previous playtime on the server and it looks promising.

Ádh mór oraibh go léir - Good luck to all of you.

-1/+1. It’s a good change, but I agree that name tags should automatically show when someone is using VOIP. It’s easy to distinguish people’s voices usually, but it’s a lot harder to keep up when it’s within quite a big group of people and I need to press alt briefly every time someone chips into the conversation.

Yeah when I'm on the pier now its impossible for people to tell whos talking to them. I think the Alias should show when the person is using VoIP. After all this is a VoIP roleplay server and it is good to know who is talking and when. When I'm getting arrested by cops now I have no Idea who is talking to me from where. When in reality I would be able to tell who is addressing me. It feels unnatural, it makes it feel like TeamSpeak or discord when you are in game. It removes the spatial awareness.

Big +1 for seeing alias when someone is talking/on the phone/Radioing

Alright let’s not get things twisted here, a section of the community are not happy but this server ain’t on its knees. 300-400 people at peak every day.

@Bala Not gonna lie the amount of newer players recently is a good thing, I hope people treat them as players and show them the ropes so they can integrate well into our community. The server is not dying. From my perspective on the journey to official status in Daichead Gadai is that if you manage to separate your IC and OOC emotions and treat the other players with respect and dignity then your life both IC and OOC becomes much more pleasant and enjoyable. That is my opinion and my experience and I don't wish to denounce other players experiences.

  6. We were nieghbours, allies but most importantly friends. Daichead Gadai and FSO's relationship stands as a shining light of what can be achieved when people swallow their pride.
May the road rise to meet you, old friends.

Almost a page of full +1's Already. Something is going dreadfully wrong with the Anti-Cheat. Not only that but from the 4 people I know that had this happen to them, the "software" that they are using is not disclosed by the staff. If the staff were transparent about what is actually flagging the anti-cheat then the people getting banned who weren't actually cheating could prove that to the admins.

Example: Someone complains PD has supers, but fails to recognize that sports cars and sports bikes are a very common type of vehicle amongst criminals too (especially those that can go 240km/h+), not to mention the strict protocols around using them these vehicles.

In the name of realism and understanding the actual real life examples of this. Take for instance the Komoda, the real life counterpart is the Alfa Romeo Giulia which is 72k dollars stock. This car has a top speed in a straight line of 192MPH. Now this car in ECRP does 210KMH, the equivalent of 130MPH. The basic police cruiser in ECRP as you have said above pushes 220KMH. Now that being said, in both real life and in ECRP the Komoda is considered a midrange car. However the alfa romeo giulia reaches speeds of 192MPH in real life.
Now the crown vic is what the basic police cruiser in ECRP is based on. In most states in America these cruisers are limited to 140MPH at most.
Do you see where the imbalance comes into this?

The police cruiser is actually quite similar to how it is IRL but a midrange car in ECRP is nerfed down to a point where the cruiser can 9/10 catch it on straight line speed.

My point is, you dont need a sports car to outrun cops in real life. You need a sedan with a powerful engine.

So you can see, when the chases are biased in favour of PD and criminals lose lots of OOC time when they are caught, this is an issue with PD versus Crim. The end goal of a PO in ECRP is to arrest people and this is made easier by the likes of my example above.

I wonder when it will reach the point where criminal lifes get so bad that nobody wants to play it, and cops sit and patrol the pier all day.
