  1. With the recent changes to VOIP getting changed forcibly to Whisper state when injured, I'm suggesting that the same happens to text chat, either by forcing any chat to come out as /low or by not allowing regular chat to be sent out.

Seeing people starting to get punished or even banned for such a minor thing that can easily happen in the heat of the moment just doesn't feel right, especially when other things like this were scriptly forced like /r and drinking/eating with a mask on. Same can be applied to /cpr to avoid any powergaming incidents.

I do understand that players are responsible of their own actions (even in heated moments) and should always keep themselves updated with the rules but I still think that it would be better to force it scriptly instead of punishing people because of it.

Yeah i do understand that for sure, it's a money sink to an already struggling criminal side. But from another point of view, why not start using vehicles that are more efficient in this regard instead of going for the sports or super fast vehicles that would have smaller tanks and efficiency and aim for attrition instead of just instantly complaining about a new system and giving it a try at some alternative solutions for more than a few hours like is being done in this thread?

The type of vehicles the server is forcing us to use gives us no chance of evading cops / opps. And if one chooses not to, he'll run out of gas in 10mins, again giving him no chance of evading.

  3. +1 - You're trying to add "realism" into the server but I dont think VIP is realistic either yet it affects A LOT of IC things like taxes + fuel consumption.

It’s was implemented so cars would not be driving for hours straight with out having to refuel

Dont see a problem there as you can easily drive your car for hours straight IRL without the need to refuel if you have a full tank.

Something to keep in mind is that driving non stop for hours IRL is sometimes days IC. I could drive around for 10-20 IRL hours in my vehicle with the old system which is 40-80 hours In-character which I don't think was realistic for the car. Refueling is something i did once a week if that as a mild inconvenience and now it makes sense, if i wish to lap the state a few times I should be expected to make pit stops especially in small-tank vehicles.
I think the new system adds a new layer of choice in what car to buy and whilst it sure can be annoying for the ones it badly affects, overall from the cars I've personally tested I don't think there's anything unreasonable. A main one i've seen is the quad bike that lasts 30 mins IRL which would be 2 hours IC, its awful sure, but for what quad bikes should be used for I think that makes sense.

That's simply because you RP as a DOC guard. If you're a crim, you're driving most of the time, moving from an RP situation to another, responding to back up calls, attending meetings and generally just using the vehicle 90% of the time while logged in. Same applies to all legal jobs when compared to crim life, which makes it that crims PAY more than legals, even tho legals get paid more (putting in mind risk factors).

I completely agree! This person made such a sick suggestion that similar to what you are aiming towards as well! Check here! <3

Oof. Seeing he already included my point and even more ideas, I'll be requesting for this to be archived as I did not know his post existed.

  5. As fishing has become the most used "freelance" job in the server, I believe a few stuff can be added to revamp how it is.

Different types of fish. Realistically, you need different types of bait to catch different types of fish, which I'm suggesting to be added. One should buy a fishing rod and a bait, that be 3 types, each one used to get a specific type of fish.
With different type of fish comes different prices for each bait and therefore different prices when selling it, giving the fishing economy some logic (like meat selling) instead of 100 people fishing and getting 199 for each fish even tho there's thousands getting sold per day.

So for example, if you buy a fishing rod and X bait, you're getting X fish, that sells for X money depending on what the market needs and not just a constant price.

  6. The 4th 第四个

Coming to Los Santos with a target on their backs, the family had to start their lives in LS with fake IDs, giving up on their family’s wealth and relations.
Each of them chose a name, faked a backstory and started looking for opportunities to make money so that the family can survive.

    The Misfits

A week in, Oli had found a group of people to roll with, to where he invited one of his brothers in as well, where they successfully made quite some money before the group was killed by the council.

    NLA / Aztecas

After Misfits disbanded, the brothers didnt know what to do, until Oli was approached by one of his friends from NLA and was offered a place in the familia, to which Oli accepted.
Knowing the backstory of the Aztecas, Oli had to change his ID a second time to fit in, changing it to become a Torrero.

Staying with the Aztecas for almost a year, going through wars, drama with the council and eventually becoming council, Oli felt the need to take a break.
After going back to [REDACTED] for a couple of months, he was contacted by his eldest brother to come back to LS at the soonest time.
Arriving at the LS airport on his way to his apartment, he received the news. The Aztecas, LFM, GD and MB are at war with the Triads and Irish.

The former alliance was already having problems with Oli’s brothers but nothing that they couldn’t handle but after the news, it was the time to make a move.

    Family reunion

During Oli’s time in Aztecas, his brothers did reveal their real identity and embraced it publicly, which had a great impact on Oli’s decision.

Oli contacted his eldest brother, letting him know of his decision and calling for a meeting. Where it was announced that a Torrero is no more.
Ash, Mario, Enzo and Oli Volkov were finally reunited.

    Los Santos Triads

Knowing what side his brothers chose during this war, Oli followed to help.

Things were not going good for the Triads no matter how hard the alliance tried, mainly for the fact it was 2 gangs against 4.
Oli’s journey wasn’t long but definitely was a great experience alongside the Triads, who sadly decided to disband the group after 2 successful years in LS.

    TRCC

After the Triads disbanding, the Volkovs, Slashes, Kongs, Rogers and some ex-Triads and Irish were not happy with the outcome of the war initiated by the Mexicans. It was then decided that the crew will do their best to avenge their fallen, causing havoc all across Los Santos, taking down the enemy alliance step by step, hoping to achieve their goal on the long run.

    FSO

With the sudden departure of Tyler Rogers for unknown reasons, some of the TRCC crew thought it would be best to move to FSO and continue the same mission, for Tyler.
Oli always had good relations with most FSO’s OGs, knowing they share the same goal as him and his mates only encouraged them making that step.

((Due to my pc goin boom boom I lost all the screenshots I had from previous events that's why this post doesnt have any))

  7. I agree that something must change about crim rp, mainly because there is nothing to do other than chilling/creating RP (which is the sole reason of this server, yes) and/or shoot enemies the whole day.

10 months ago this server had around 10 gangs if not more, each of them having to talk diplomacy with EACH gang instead of big alliances, holding down labs and chopshops, even solo cooking was a fun thing to do. Which never happens now because apparently fishing is more money when putting in mind the risk/reward factor and diplomacy is never considered cuz people hit others for little to no reason at all (not throwing shade on anyone).

I disagree with the "backing your ally up" being considered fearrp cuz it wouldnt make any sense, especially if my ally is winning that fight or clutching it.

+1 to Jake's reply regarding FM.

If the gun is holstered, it's in a holster, secure. Falling to the floor shot wouldn't release it from the holster.

Same goes with the heavies. The idea is that they're slung on your back with a strap to get it in place and that wouldn't release on you falling to the floor either.

    -1.

I meant held ones not holstered ones, my bad.

  9. Dunno if anyone suggested this again after the last update to inventory so here I am suggesting it.

Title pretty much explains everything. Realistically, if someone with a gun in hand gets injured, he most-likely will drop it next to him. Also think heavies should drop even if not held due to their size and figure.

  10. +1 | The rule in itself was made to provide the server with more civilian RP but in my honest opinion, encouraging a certain type of RP should NOT discourage another. My suggestion would be that if a criminal succeeds to identify an enemy (not only through clothes or voice) [same rules that apply to PD before applying charges] and he has good motive and ready to take the risks, he should not be worried about an OOC rule that might get him punished or banned. IC actions have IC consequences.

Tl;dr if a criminal successfully identifies an enemy of his, has good motive (with NLR in mind) and is willing to take the risk, so be it.

  11. Issue Being Reported: Forum name change from “Feky” to Oli

Date and Time of Issue (provide timezone)

    2:00 GMT+2.  10/22/2020

    Your characters name: Jacob Torrero

    Other player(s) involved: N/A

Evidence and/or notes worth mentioning: N/A

  12. I personally was dealing with HEAVY lag spikes that put me and a couple others in my faction and other people in the server in a 2min~ delay when we were close to any place that had a lot of vehicles. In our case it was paleto high end as we were Aztecas.
It didnt have anything to do with our internet but it just was like that. After the update, I've never experienced this problem again any where in the server no matter how crowded it was.

I personally would suggest the timer to just increase to maybe 4hours or so and see how it goes from there, but removing it as a whole is a no no.
