  1. My suggestions to #MakeThePierGreatAgain:
I could and should do a whole suggestion post on 'reviving the pier'

    The issues:
    1. Money. Fishing doesn't pay well at all in comparison to other things and after the 35% tax that many players have its not worth it.
    2. Speed Cameras. 80% of the people when asked ICly why they don't go to the pier answer with 'the speed cameras and police targeting'.

    Potential solutions:
    1. Overall pay increase in fish.
    2. Different types of fish like we had in 2019 combined with the pricing system the butcher uses for different meat types! The more rare the fish the more they pay!
    3. Illegal Fishing drop off that avoids taxes and pays in cash - No longer is fishing a pure legal thing to do!
    4. No speed cameras, but keep parking ticket requirements though.

These are my personal opinions and not that of staff

These two things seem very easy to implement and they only stand to add event/business RP to the server!

    1. Reduce Furniture Price - At present time as an example, a long wall which costs $2,000 will cover a wall with the length and width of 1 unit by 1 unit. The smallest property size is 1x1x1 and to cover all of the walls this totals out to be $8,000 which is quite absurd of a price. As Property Requests grow more popular and players look to create new areas for roleplay and engagement, the burden of cost lies in two places - the property itself and the furnishings. While the Property Request Bureau in SAGOV is doing great work at trying to keep properties affordable, this then leads to the massive burden of furniture to fill these spaces. Therefore, I believe a reduction in price across the board for ALL AESTHETIC furniture items will be beneficial. Furniture which have utility purpose (doors/safes/storage) can remain as is with their pricing.. A reduction of 80% (furniture costing 1/5th of present cost) would assist with more availability of aesthetic building of environments.

    2. Reduce Furniture Weight - With each furniture item weighing 10 vol, a player can only transport so many pieces be it on their person or within their vehicle. This creates the need for very frequent trips to the furniture store or the rounding up of a large group all with trucks to assist. While I do think that trips to the furniture store are good, the amount needed is unnecessary and too high. Using the above example of the 1x1x1 size, 4 long walls are needed to cover the sides which translates to 40 vol. This is the smallest of sizes and with properties being much larger, I believe it becomes clear to see that the amount of furniture needed only exponentially increases thus increasing the number of trips needed - even just to complete the task of what would be considered painting. I think a reduction in weight by 1/4 would help with the ease of transportation. This would make furniture items 2.5 vol as opposed to 10 vol.

  3. +1 To opening banks 24/7

I would not like to see salary going directly to the bank accounts because this removes potential RP around tax fraud. There is very few RP opportunities to avoid taxes and do this sort of 'white collar' crime.

As I play at the moment, I come one for two or three hours after I get back from work each day. This however is always night in game. This means that I can never get my money out of my salary unless I want to change my schedule IRL.

With a 4:1 in game ratio I can see how this would be a problem. People on a IRL schedule are inevitably on an IC schedule and stuck with the same in game times.

Main issue with chops chops at the moment is that there is so many. There used to be 6 and only 1 of them used to be active, Now there is 10-15 and all of them are active making it impossible to get your car back within the 5 minute chop time

This is the main culprit imo.

I suggest allowing the ability to track a car with someone inside of it. I never understood the inability to track vehicles with drivers.
You would still have the same 5 minute cooldown to track it, which essentially means you get one shot to track it before its chopped.

  6. -1 To removing welfare for certain Rpers.
With all sources of generated money into the server being scripted removing welfare for some players is not something I want to see happen.
I don't think its healthy to force script-based upkeep onto players who would rather create RP then be confined into the scripted jobs. Welfare is single handedly the best RP generation tool that has existed on ECRP.

+1 To balancing the economy and improving the welfare system!
I think its obvious the economy is extremely lopsided and newer players are struggling to catch up. I blame this on the increasing prices of assets and cost to sustain ALL characters that has been happening over time. To balance the economy the 'fix' cant apply equally to everyone and must disproportionally affect the wealthier. (The original suggestion by CallumMontie accomplishes this, but I don't think its the right way personally.)

Many of the richest people started before speed cameras, before food/water were needed to sustain, with 6/7$ gas, when drug ingredients paid for themselves, and did it all while earning MUCH higher welfare amounts. Simply put, we had it easier back then. I just don't want this to turn into a  'reactionary' survival server' the moment you hit 35% tax bracket and you need to liquidate and tax evade to RP again.

I don't think its good for immersion to have 'Randomly generated loot' in houses as apposed to what is actually inside. What make houses special in my opinion is that they are physical real-estate containing actual items that have been worked for.
Breaking this continuity would take so much from the feeling of owning a house.
