  1. No one is making this an actual complaint of "omg it helps pd but not criminals" It's great that PD finally have a way of using IC means of communicating and TS can soon be completely removed. BUT this is metagaming fest. Every time you report someone you have to change frequency. So for example if you log in in the morning something happens you report, in the evening if you have to report again thats  2 frequency changes because lets be honest the frequencies will be MG'd and there is no need to pretend like they wont.

Simplest solution like everyone said make it /togglefreqhud or make it so that the freq is showed only for government factions since their radio cant be infiltrated and abused.

Hmm, actually rethinking. Your average citizen should be able to defend themselves though against a criminal in some way, they do the crime so they do the time, but a citizen should be able to defend themselves, your either a criminal, a government employee or a citizen, and the citizens seem to get the short end of the stick.

There already is a flaw to the .50, that it can be seen at your side, if someone wanted to get one they can see you own one and rob you. I actually think all large weapons shouldn't be concealable in the "I" menu at all and always viewed on your person, or you can stash it in your vehicle. Only realistic way to hide a large weapon would be to break it down. Breaking down and putting together would trigger /ame interactions.

This suggestion would take away the power of random criminals and those who are in the server here to just dm. Anyone who is a criminal knows there is so much of those people around. This would give more power to the official factions which are heavily against  random robbings, and robbing of civilians. The people who rob civilians are those who buy 2.5k .50 's and go around shooting left and right

-1, if it was more expensive you only allow the few to dominate the rest like with AKs, Police etc.

I dont think you should replace skill based shooting with "anybody who puts in the money can dominate"

Dominate what? this isnt a free roam or cops and robbers. 100% criminals who have access to heavy guns and other stuff should have the advantage in those situations. This is completely unrealistic that 90% of the citizens carry 50. pistols. Criminals have absolutely 0 value of life and will rush ahead guns blazing into any situation because they have one of the most powerful weapons for 2.5k and 2.5k is nothing to lose to any player that has been playing for few weeks

  4. 12 minutes ago, Nubbsauce said:

+1 ONLY IF you switch out the .50 cal pistol for a pump shot gun. As they aren't that powerful at long range, and are legally able to be owned in the US by civilians.

its not about being realistic in this sense. But its more about balance. As of right now the balance is very unrealistic even if the items are realistic in US setting. Sometimes realism doesn't mean good balance in a game. This is more of a suggestion to reduce the amount of shootings and the amount of trigger happy people

  5. After having played in this server for about 5 months now, i have realised that 50. pistols are just too strong to be legal. Absolutely everyone carries one around and they are very powerful especially if the shooter is good they can be just as deadly and sometimes even more deadly than a heavy gun like SMG or AK.

The fact that Mechanics are carrying these pistols also shows just how crazy common this weapon is in the server and it makese no sense for it to be so common. In my opinion this Pistol should be made illegal and only be imported through the official factions and sold on the streets.

Which would add for a lot of RP as actual interaction to acquire such pistol would be required instead of just paying 2.5k at at any shop.
Also the heavy pistol should be made illegal too as it is just as powerful

Removing or making these pistols expensive would make players feel more vulnerable if they have a 9mm pistol or a combat pistol they would think twice before actually getting in a gun fight with someone.

The solution to this could be that these two pistols that are very powerful were made to cost somewhere around 12k to import and sell in shops for 15k  Which would make it a very rare weapon but if someone really needed one they could buy it. Or entirely removed from shops and made completely illegal

The import prices for criminals would be less so they could illegally trade this weapon for smaller prices than the shops but so that they could also make a profit.

In my opinion this would reduce the amount of random shootings happening and would also add much more RP interaction to the sever that would be based around buying pistols as this item is purchased daily hundreds of times.

Heavy and illegal weapons should be feared in the city when people are seen with them. But currently the reaction is "oh someone with AK lets go take that free AK" because the 50. cal pistols are so powerful and common so even if they lost the fight to the AK they wouldn't care as the potential gain was much more worth it than losing the pistols

  6. A little while ago we once again organised a poker event for our close friends that were looking to gamble and have some fun

    3.png

We had our members work as security to make sure that everyone complies with the rules of the event and does not cause any trouble

    1.png

Unlike the first event this one had higher buy in of 100k and elimination rules or until the clock ran down to 0 from the set time limit

    2.png

We also had a bartender tending to our guests and players, making drinks

    5.png

    7.png

    9.png

Speaking with guests that have attended the event to watch or just enjoy and have a few drinks taking some time off

    11.png

One of the guests has fainted outside and was attended to by the security and quickly called an ambulance to make sure he is taken care off properly

    13.png

As the event got late into the night some guests had to be escorted out to not disturb the players inside as they have been playing for hours and needed to concentrate to be able to play properly

    15.png

At the end of the night 5 players were still left on the table as they were unable to eliminate more. Couple of players made quite huge profits and some were left with little money from what they started

All in all the event was a success, everyone had a good time and issue have been avoided with LSPD as they were called multiple times by prank callers but working respectfully with them helped the situation get resolved as quickly as possible without disturbing the game. Next event is being planned soon with slightly different rules to make the game much more enjoyable

  7. By this definition of the rule half of the players should be banned. I think its more of a misunderstanding an the writing in rules. This is very unrealistic for this rule to be enforced. Metagaming is already punished by rather weak punishments and trying to enforce this rule but make everything much worse. Basically people sharing and looking at ECRP fashion discord channel would be classed as metagamers

  8. I have been reading the backlash and complaints about LFB for a few days and all i keep is seeing the same response from the "defenders" if you were to call them that of the faction. That they are realistic in the fact that they do everything hidden which in my opinion is perfect for them

a few factions that did not get official were denied because of the reason "what does your faction  bring to the server's rp"  now its a very valid point and my question to La Fuente Blanca is what do you bring to the server's rp?

Official factions were brought out to revive the criminal content in the server. Make sure that the official factions were active, actively participating in the server and basically regulating the criminal side of the server by being the "law" of the criminals overseeing all the smaller gangs who are not official and leading by example showing them the rp level that they should be at if they wanted to be at the top and become official. I have almost 200k xp right now and have been actively playing in this server for a long time and i can say that. If i want to rp with Shadow Cartels, i can. If i want to rp with Irish and Mercia, i absolutely can because they are there.  Yes La Fuente is more realistic in the fact that they are hidden but you have to realise that this server is not real life. We come here to rp and have meaningful events, stories happen to us and live the "fantasy" of our chosen lives for our characters.

The problem is that La Fuente brings nothing to the server because they are an invisible closed friends group of rich people that never rp. I know for a fact that the leader of the group actually is around and rp's himself rather well but for the rest of the group i cannot say the same. Especially when all of the members so far have not been able to reply to criticism well and straight away got defensive instead of engaging in meaningful discussions.

New criminals will never be able to see La Fuente rp and they will never see the example of them. All they are going to hear is the rumours of this group that is never around and essentially does nothing. We already had this with the Hitmen group which some of you know but never took off. It was a great "myth" and made people excited and sometimes scared but that never took off and all it was left just a myth that is what will essentially will happen to La Fuente and i mean it already has happened.

In my opinion La Fuente does not bring anything of value to the server itself and they will only be occupying a warehouse slot that could go to another faction that will be more deserving of it.

Each of the official factions should aim to improve the server through their rp. if you are hiding and not showing anything then you are not really contributing to the server then, you are just having fun in your own faction with your friends which is perfectly fine but you do not need official status for that

However i wish them all the best and hope they prove everyone wrong

  9. This has been debated since the drug lab release. This is basically the last piece of criminal content we have right now that is worth doing and fits into the "rp" standards that most factions currently have to follow. There has to be an actual rule that would be punishable. It just makes no sense. Cops see 1 person leave the lab they call over half of the pd and destroy the lab. rip for 6 hours
+1 from me as something has to change. Lately there is 0 change or any kind of moving forward in the server. The activity is decreasing and nobody seems to care. More and more criminals are going over to Mechanics or PD on their alts because there is nothing to do as criminals

  10. i agree with both people above. chopping cars is usually a team effort especially with bigger gangs in the city they always come to take your stuff so you have to have back up. Having the old prices or maybe even a little increased would make chop shops group content and allow for people to do more stuff together

  11. As we all know chop shops have been nerfed, the nerf came after the impound lot was introduced which also nerfed the chop shop itself as there was less cars in the streets to steal. Decreasing the prices of chop shop just made no sense and it completely killed the content related to it. There is never anyone at the chop shops and there is actually cars just laying around because no one wants to chop them.

I think the chop should be returned to how it was as it would again bring back something to do with the lack of criminal content especially with the official factions not being decided yet which also removed a piece of content in weapon shipments. There is only drug labs to do for money for criminals because robbing stores is also pretty dead content and barely anyone does it

Doesn't make sense at all, the fact that other people could 'use' the supercars does not mean that their 'rarity' would go down, the amount of supercars would still be the same amount, that means that nothing will be changed in terms of rarity.

    unknown.png?width=1087&height=538

All of these could be rented out  and these are owned by 4-5 people. And yes the rarity would go down as you can see the "elite" have 2-5 super cars in their garages and they barely are around themselves anyway so you rarely see any of these cars in the server. Now imagine all of these get rented out for lets say 100k a week. The city would be full of supers because active people would rent them and the owners would certainly do that because they love making money 🙂

Dont need to make it so they can put them in a garage or anything.

+1 to permanent keys, or atleast keys that don't disappear as soon as you inevitably crash.

it's +1 from me too if the devs have issues with super cars being shared then disable permanent keys on super cars that's it

@NobodyLTU is replacing the old voice system with the one RAGE implemented, if the new system functions properly, most of the existing problems we experience with the old system will disappear. I will forward the chopshop complaint too, but as long as the owner of the car pays more to get their vehicle back from Mors Insurance, then there should not be any problems to increase the pay.

I could make a topic explaining what my current work involves, it includes warehouses, shipments, keypad locks and container construction. It will take me some time to implement everything properly, that's why I don't talk about it publicly, until I have something solid to show I don't want to raise peoples' expectations. I've also added a cooldown timer for bleets, because there used to be a rule on how frequent a player could message those, now there is no need for staff members to enforce it.

it's good but at least from my perspective there is issue on communication. its hard to say on how it could be improved but there should some sort of improvement because keeping the community completely in the dark can hurt the overall community in the long run. I mean for example with the snow we know that you guys are experimenting with it. its a bit weird that it gets turned on and off. but could also make such announcements like from X to X there will be snow all the time for the winter period. Just some kind of information. Sometimes even bad news are better than no news at all. going completely dark is worse than sharing little bits. It is possible to update the community without over promising stuff. But i am glad that this post wasn't ignored so thank you for your reply

  15. I have been on this server for quite a while now and have spent over 700 hours in game in my time here. I have noticed that the is a big problem with communication between the staff and players, especially now more than ever i believe.

I will start first with the official factions issue. When the team that runs ECRP has decided to create this system for official factions to improve the server everyone was happy about it and all for it. We were told it is going to be a month before decisions are being made and then we will be informed on the process of becoming official. Well now it has been over a month and as one of the leaders of a faction that is aiming to obtain official rank personally i have received very little information on what is actually going. While our handler is very helpful with questions that we ask but i assume because of orders from above they are not allowed to answer questions like "when will the applications will be available" and all they can say is "we are working on them" . In my opinion such responses are just bad and do not work. When members of your faction keep asking when will the official application will be coming out and all you can say is "soon" its not good.

I understand admins work for free and do this in their free time and have their lives and so on. But some sort of communication should be held. For example if the process is being delayed then make an announcement about it, it will be more understandable when there is an official announcement being made from the staff team.

The next point is about the information being shared through private chats and rumours. So currently everyone knows that there is a lot of content being worked on. but no one really knows that because all of it is basically rumours and nothing is really confirmed. Again i know that people are busy. But i think some sort of official communication should be held between the staff, developers and the players.

When players are asked to improve their rp standards and change how they act in game its perfect that we want to clean up the community but we as players also need feedback from the staff on what is being done right or what is being done wrong. If there is no communication, then players lose sense of something actually being done, they get bored and lose faith and start falling off to the "i am bored lets go shoot" side

Another example is that apparently now bleets are only available to be done every 20 minutes. Now either this is rumours or very poor communication from staff as this is a rule change within the server and as far as i know there is no official updates about it at all.

Second example is the chop shop prices, they were not announced at all and a lot of the community have expressed an issue with it but nothing has been said by anyone at all. Chop shop is currently dead content, especially with the impound being there too. No one bothers chopping any cars anymore because its not worth it. I understand if the developers think that it might be too op to receive 7k for an expensive car but also have to think it from a balance perspective that currently while new content is being worked on. there is nothing to do with the chop shop being gone drug labs is the only criminal activity realistically available especially if following RP standards of certain criminals as certain factions who are rping as mid tier or higher are not going to be robbing grocery stores. Making the chop shop useless basically leaves only drug labs as only source of some sort of activity but then those are also overcrowded with people

Hope we can have a civil discussion about this and achieve something.

  16. I agree, also there is an issue with the fact that the more powerful group is always at a disadvantage. When a bigger group goes on the offense they have to trigger the initiation this already puts the attackers to a disadvantage because if they have a plan then they need to go into an ambush for example and send someone to their death or worse just to get that initiation to be able to shoot. In my opinion this is rather unrealistic and during gang wars there should be a KOS at all times where if you see an enemy you should be able to spray them down because they are at war with you.

In real life when gangs, organisations go to war they know who to hit and sure sometimes they mess up but i think some kind of new WAR system with KOS and like OP mentioned  should be implemented where lets say for 1-2 hours you could declare battle and all opposition members would be marked with a certain colour on their name tags to let everyone know you can KOS them. While this is a little bit meta gaming but i think if given 1-2 hours of battle it would make sense and each group would be under the same rules. Because currently it is impossible to set up anything interesting for example if you want to do a surprise ambush you cannot just start firing, you need to initiate action which in my opinion ruins a lot of scenarios and possibilities of showing total power and dominance over opposition

While there is certainly going to be some salt going around from the current situation of a certain group in the server i would suggest for everyone to keep their IC drama out of this post and have a reasonable discussion on how a war system could be implemented allowing for everyone to have more fun on the server and up the RP level in the server

    What tier gang you represent?

We are a mid tier faction, as we already posses decent amount of money and most of our members own decent amount of assets in their names. We also drive around in close to high tier cars (post about our cars will be up soon). We are slowly climbing towards high tier but that kind of thing will take quite a while. There is only one real faction that is high tier according to the guidelines and that's the one that owns a lot of super cars and have their own ranch.

Issue/bug you are reporting: So after the last rage update it is impossible to turn of the music volume. no matter if you lower it or higher it, stays the same. I heard that some people don't have this issue but many do and there is no way to fix this as of right now

Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: simply launch the game and try to turn off the music volume if it is playing

  20. Didn't really want to participate in this but it's clear that the police are acting way beyond what their Roleplay should be. Just as a simple example  I was driving from HE obviously i was speeding and ran a red light, a cop car pulled out and i slammed on the brakes i almost stopped but still hit a cop car and it flipped due to desync it was pretty obvious since my speed was way too low to flip the car. Immediately i stopped by the officer, apologised OOC and explained what happened OOC and then proceeded to rp the situation, i was told to pull over  over to the side, the officer called for extra cruiser because her's was flipped i thought just one extra police officer will come but nope. Literally half of the online PD came to arrest me
    534937707_Stranger4044_3681-1539102158945.thumb.png.83d1da284bdb80a8e1f8726362daa2f7.png

I was told to get out of my car, drop my keys then drop my gun  i wasn't even wanted or had a single ticket. No cop came to question me or the officer about what happened, as she was near me most of the time and i did not hear a single time she would speak about the situation, unless it was all done on team speak?
So i proceeded to comply with everything but again through out the whole situation there was no questions asked and whenever i tried to speak and try explain something i was just simply ignored. I was treated like Pablo Escobar for a simple ticket situation especially when OOC issue was involved for flipping the cop car.

I ended up having to pay 2k ticket if i recall correctly and a 6k fine for my car being impounded just so they could put me in jail for 16 minutes and basically ignored me through out the whole RP and all i could was to comply with their actions.
The problem is there that i could have easily ran away and not gave a single fuck because the cop car was flipped and they would have never caught me. But i decided to actually rp the situation and i did not receive the same from the police officers. All they cared about is pointing their guns at me when i was clearly not hostile or was going to even attempt anything
