  1. I was actually thinking of making a suggestion to make the chopshops a new type of turf system. A gang can controll it and get a cut from every chopped vehicle on exchange for protection. That gang can set the prices for the vehicle types. However, the turfs can be taken like the old turf system we used to have.

  4. Disclaimer: This faction thread is Out of Character and information on this thread may not be used for In Character purposes. This is here simply to show you what happens at LSC each and every day. The RP that is going on behind the scenes, and the inner workings of the companies policies.

    History

LSC started in a small garage located in Blaine County in 1987. Since then, Los Santos Customs has managed to expand and work its way into the heart of Los Santos. LSC had and will always have the best reputation for reliable car services. Our commitment to helping customers realize their vision for their vehicles in a convenient, friendly, and knowledgeable manner remains our strongest selling point moving forward.

    Ranks Explanation

    Chain of Command

The list below is the official chain of command (CoC) at LSC. This is where you can find who you should raise concerns with depending on your current status within the company. It is expected that you do not jump to the top of the CoC but rather progress your concerns through it in order to alleviate workload and stress on the high command. Probationary trainees through to Mechanics should raise their concerns with senior mechanics then the CoC continues per rank.

    Owner

The head of the organization is responsible for all policy-level decisions, as well as making contacts and contracts between our faction and other organizations ((and admins)). They have the final call in the faction’s policy and visions, as well as the financial affairs.

    Co-Owner

Co-Owner is responsible for monitoring the operational capacity of LSC, including the quality of training for vehicle maintenance, customer service, Tow/Flatbed Certification procedures, and implementation of regulations. These concerns and successes should be relayed to the Owner, along with feedback for improving perceived issues.

    Lead Supervisor

Lead Supervisor is responsible for monitoring Supervisors’ performances and ensuring efficient delegation of Supervisor responsibilities among the several Supervisors. Particular attention should be paid to documentation and workplace standards, which must be upheld and their development related to High Command.

    Human Resources

Human Resources will be responsible for all documentation. From new hires to fires, HR will handle the documentation so that the other members of management can focus on handling the other business aspects of the job as well as maintaining the staff and helping them with whatever it may be. HR will be responsible for any issues brought forth to the management team, including but not limited to promotions, demotions, firings, as well as the documentation of these events. HR will handle interviews, hiring, issues within the staff, and issues that result in the strike system being implemented.

    Supervisor

Are responsible for supervising all everyday operations of LSC. Enforcing LSC policies and other rules that are in place. The supervisor is responsible for organizing LSC Management Meetings, relaying concerns and policy changes interior to LSC’s operations. The supervisor is responsible for progressing new workers up through Mechanic Training and may add people (with picture) to the Banned list. Supervisors have the ability to give Disciplinarians up to suspensions, Anything above will have to be reviewed by LSC high command.

    Assistant Supervisor

Assistant Supervisors are responsible for supervising all everyday operations of LSC. Enforcing LSC policies and other rules that are in place. They are responsible for coordinating and planning the weekly staff meeting that happens every week to update the staff on policy changes and promotions. Can also add people to the ban list.

    Lead Mechanic

The Lead Mechanic focuses on teaching new employees all the aspects of regular operations, such as billing, service, and vehicle modification/repair. Lead Mechanics are responsible for meeting Management’s standard of direction and ensuring that new employees are properly educated so that the employees can obtain their mechanic certifications unhindered. Lead Mechanics are the lowest rank capable of attending Management meetings, and also conducting interviews and training sessions. They may also be certified by the Owner/Co-Owner to conduct Tow/Flatbed Training sessions.

Furthermore, All Management should maintain a knowledge base of individual mechanics’ performances and viability for periodic promotions, demotions, and inactivity. This includes, but is not limited to, quality of work, cooperative attitude, lack of criminal activity, and compliance with internal LSC regulations. All management is required to perform Training, interviews, and certifications if needed.
    Non Management

    Senior Mechanic

Senior Mechanics are competent enough to manage significant operational autonomy with competence. They are skilled and well-rounded mechanics that are not easily replaced. As pillars of the workplace community, they are expected to set the standard of work habits to all mechanics beneath them. Senior Mechanics are also expected to instruct and enforce Rules and Regulations with the lower-ranked mechanics, due to their extensive time at LSC.

    Mechanic

A Mechanic has the knowledge, wisdom, and experience required to be permitted to request Tow Truck and Flatbed Certifications. They are also expected to pass their knowledge and experience down to Junior Mechanics while honing their customer-relations skills before progressing further in their career.

    Junior Mechanic

Junior Mechanics are qualified to work on cars without the supervision of a higher mechanic. They may know the basics but still need to learn the mechanical knowledge that can only be acquired with time and experience. They are expected to take initiative, seizing any opportunity to learn and attempt to work on cars by themselves, while asking questions when necessary. They will be watched with their work and must establish a quality standard of work before progressing further.

    Mechanic-Trainee

The newest recruits with the most to learn. In this two week probation period, they will be supervised to see how they retain knowledge, engage with the public, and gauge their work ethic. They will be taught by our Supervisors and be exposed to all the different types of services we provide. After Training Session 2 is complete, they are eligible to be promoted along to Junior Mechanic after a week probation period and can work alone until that is processed at a Management Meeting.

Goals and Guidelines of the Faction

The Mechanic Service is entrusted by the City of Los Santos to keep the streets clean of abandoned vehicles and to provide fast, reliable, and professional service to all citizens of Los Santos. Any organization can contact us for service contracts for necessary car maintenance. As our price sheets indicate, towing for law enforcement purposes is done for free, while services rendered to individuals will come at some labor cost. We are also bound by the city to not discriminate in our services, except when an individual has established a history of hostility towards LSC and has been banned from receiving our services or being present on our lot. Our list of banned individuals is maintained and available to all employees ((#banned chat on LSC Discord)), who should seek to familiarize themselves with any new entries, for the safety of employees and customers alike.

Lead Supervisors will arrange weekly meetings with the Management Team. They will use the LSC Meeting Summary Format document to keep track of what is discussed, as well as those due for promotion, demotion, or who have become inactive. Supervisors are responsible for scheduling meetings as appropriate with Team Leaders and below to discuss workplace concerns, recognize achievements, and build familiarity within the LSC team, as well as making sure Trainees gain Trucker, Driver, and Bike licenses.

    Recruitment

In order to apply to become a mechanic at the LSC, applicants must pass the recruitment process. The first step is to submit an application via email and then pass an interview with a member of our management department. The format for the application can be found under our Application section of our website. Mechanics should communicate this to any applicants who appear to meet our requirements of residency and non-criminal background.

    Tow Truck (Small)

This tow truck is primarily used for smaller compact vehicles and some minor roadside repairs. The small size makes it not capable of towing large trucks, Suvs, and big sedans.

    Tow Truck (Large)

This truck is used for 90% of the every day mechanic requests that LSC receives. It is capable of towing small vehicles and large. It specializes in extra storage space for some specific parts to do more complex repairs on the side of the road. This full sized tow truck is capable of towing anything that is thrown at it.

Actually , NCZ's are zones where crimes involving victims are forbidden , speeding is a victimless crime unless you get into a car accident with someone ..

Not in the new rules. Its all crime. Not just victem crimes.

  6. This turned into a discussion.

Anyway. Speaking as the current los santos customs owner. I never seen a 10.000 base price for repairs except for one or two sport cars or supercars. (And superdiamond)

The mechanic shop itself earns money from labor. That is why labor base prices change. Depending om supply and demand.

This is already possible. You can sign up for a BLS course with the LSEMS, and if you pass it, you will be able to extend the life of injured people via the use of /cpr.
