  1. +1 to this. There's a ton of vehicles that can't fit bodies with trunks over twice the size of some of the cars that can. All of the Tornado series, the Beater Dukes, Tulip, and Tulip M-100 cannot fit bodies but have very solid trunk size that would easily be able to fit someone. Honestly a re-evaluation or a fully compiled list the community could make would be very helpful.
  2. I could care less about this being about crims or LEOs, I just don’t really like things being nerfed as it harms the economy of the current things in the cycle. Nerfing Shinobi’s, Drags, and other bikes really wouldn’t change a whole lot unless it was a drastic amount in terms of percent, like say 50%; and that realistically wouldn’t help solve the issue in my opinion. Sure people can zoom around on Shinobis for a few hours without refueling, but nerfing them will only increase the amount of Issi Sports, Jugulars, and Elegys on the server. I like the concept of the suggestion forcing more interaction with people by making them refuel more often; but I think a global nerf to all gas tanks would do that just the same and that’s not something I’d be behind either. Sometimes we should sacrifice realism for the sake of fun, and in my opinion; this is one of those times. TL;DR: Nerfs hurt games and fun. Plz no.
  3. The Underground had long since wanted a business to call their own and to help the community of southern Los Santos... They finally got the opportunity to do so. Acquiring a small arcade at the end of Grove Street was a massive success for the group of Anarchist problem-children. They smiled as they sat around inside of it for a moment, talking about the finances and logistics of it all. They all unanimously agreed to attempt to circumvent any and all attempts SAGOV would try to pull to claim their toll on the group by simply operating it as an events center instead of a licensed business, and since Melody had long since had her event's license; it would operate specifically on tips, donations, and sponsored events. They smiled wide at the day and opened their arms for tomorrow's embrace. The day wasn't over just yet... So why not tag up Mission Row a little to celebrate?

    PRB Arcade

The Mission: Our idea as a whole it to allow newcomers as well as seasoned veterans to gaming to be able to play retro and classic flash games via arcade machines linked to an OOC website. We intend to have full fledged high-score styled single player games as well as classic retro multiplayer games such as Pong, minor fighting games, and roguelike titles as well. The idea: Initially thought of some months back as between High Command members of The Underground, they have decided to take a much more fun approach to Anarchy and have decided to instead spread the word of their ideology through their love of gaming and tomfoolery. The arcade will be available to be played for free some days and for a small entry free other days, although scheduling and management has yet to be sorted as the interior is under construction still currently. Over the past few months, The Underground has gone through a lot of trials, changes, IC and OOC events, and has outright wanted to do something for the community other than protests/giveaways. So, this is it! I hope to see love coming into this thread and feel free to share any thoughts for it. I know I've seen many people mention doing similar ideas in the past, but we finally wanted to step forwards and be the ones to do it. This is out biggest ongoing project as of yet and we wanted to share it here.
  5. Hello! I had another small idea for this. I know Faction Management has been very adamantly against adding 1:1/special vehicles for factions as they once did in the past, but I would like to propose something perhaps a little different than that. Factions at tier 2/tier 3 should be able to be given a faction specific vehicle not on the current list of purchasable vehicles within reason. Obviously I do not want to see crazy supercars or batmobiles around every corner, but I believe a faction should be able to get a more permanent reward for their hard work and dedication; as currently they have to exist with decent RP standards for about 5-6 months before even getting tier 2 if they potentially “speed run” it. Faction specific vehicles that aren’t extreme would be a great addition to the server, like for Underground something like dune buggies as it’s a very cheap and easy to craft vehicles since we RP making our own cars, or one of the many motorcycles for Lost, or a more expensive vehicle like a special sports car for groups like OTF and Rooks. I know something FM was worried about was it hurting the economy a little with this and people joining specifically for these vehicles, but a very simple way around this is have them only give those to command members and have them account bound similar to credit vehicles; or just with the stipulation that if they are sold/traded that it would result in a punishment similar to the faction property they receive at later tiers. I hope this isn’t met a firm “no” as it has been in the past, because it’s something I think almost every single criminal would want that strives to make the server a fun and healthy environment. Like I said before, and something I want to reiterate very strongly; I do not want meta vehicles or supers, I just want to see groups get something special to call their own to show off other than clothing when that update happens. None of this would require script work as I believe (head?) admins are allowed to spawn in items/vehicles for events and things, I don’t know if it would be as simple as a vehicle transfer to multiple people though. Not sure of the logistics and technicalities of it all; but I just wanna see us get cool cars, man :c
  6. The Underground decided to just have some fun with a stolen Department of Corrections Kamacho. It was a normal day for them, honestly. A little craziness, a little shenanigans against a LEO agency... Pulling over and pranking people was always their go-to for their little bit of tomfoolery. But after the picked up their friend Chris Bridge, the group of goobers set out for an adventure, only to be stopped and have their mood killed by Rooks. The Underground very, very often referred to Rooks as "boring" when it came to confrontation with them, as it was very obvious that they were attempting conflict for personal material gain; something The Underground always frowned upon and felt above. The driver; Ronin, had fallen out of his seat and landed in a bush near a Rook dealer. Had he been drinking too much? Smoked a little too much? Who knows? After swapping drivers, the group zoomed out of the drive-through restaurants driveway and they were quickly name-called and chased by Rooks. They all instantly recognized Andrew Berkowitz after he began having an overdramatic episode similar to something out of a soap opera as usual. After being followed, the group stopped and sighed as they explained that one of their members accidentally fell out of the vehicle as they were nowhere near the dealer, nor did they talk to him. They were adamant on demanding the group never talk to their dealers again, and The Underground chuckled being seen as such an infamous threats to their egos. "I know that Rooks don't really like to have fun with basically anything in their lives, but like there's zero reason-" Melody was instantly cut off by Andrew, swiftly proving every word she had said to this point right. "Listen, I will get out of this car and fucking smoke you, shut the fuck up!" blabbed Andrew from his mouth as the pinkies rolled their eyes. The entire group busted out laughing as they drove off, cracking jokes about the interaction. Sadly, their fun was short lived and they drove until their hearts' content while evading Metro SWAT amongst several other members of LSPD. The group was thrown in DOC without Chris, who had long since been dropped off as they had escaped once already thanks to some of their Valentine friends.
  7. I like the new trees, but some places they are way too out of place... anything south of Legion Square/“the hood” should definitely not have all of these palm trees and random flora sprouted about. Grove street especially looks so off now.
  8. Please send me a text if you’re selling either of these vehicles, preferably maxed!! 423-2733
  9. So, immersion goes a long way in Eclipse and people playing in first person are immediately noticed because of the way they strafe with crazy speed and their stances/walks and even running looks strange compared to everyone else. As someone who really wants to play in first person but only won't because of how absolutely atrocious it looks from someone else's perspective, I'd really like to see these animations removed or changed to the ones we can purchase. I was really hoping that purchasing animations would cover the first person animations for all of these, but sadly it doesn't and I'd love for it to; or have at least have an option to have them enabled for first person. What's everyone's thoughts? I know this is more of a GTA issue than an Eclipse issue, but I'd like for this to be looked at and changed so first person can become and actual point of view without looking like an idiot.
  10. The Underground cracked jokes about the kidnapping of Matthew Burns... But Melody knew it was wrong. The idea of kidnapping a man for change was a beautiful one, but for money? For monetary gain? The thought turned her stomach a bit. It was everything The Underground was against... Greed. She didn't care about the man himself being kidnapped or even killed, she cared about the copycats hurting their name. A lot of the demands resembled that of what The Underground would have wanted, like Langley stepping down and elections for a true Governor... But the the BLB press release to be completely overturned? Who the hell would even care about that? Melody stared down at her rifle and her mask... She hated the idea of Balck Art; her "idea" which was supposedly the "Real Leader of Underground" that few actually knew of. Balck Art wasn't really a person, but an idea within it's own right that had grown into a persona of which Weazel News even wrote about once. Having a personality behind that mask helped her think... It helped her focus. She donned the mask, closing her eyes for a moment. Melody knew the top suspect for the copycats... The question is rather or not she would ever decide to fight them if she found out for certain.
  11. During their meeting with "The Cartel", The Underground was told to show face more. Taking this as somewhat of a challenge, the group threw together a small squad of rats to have some fun and target one man in particular. Phillipe Sanchez. "The more you fuck around, the more you will find out." Nothing more could show the groups urge to cause an uproar more than fully-automatic G36 Special Carbines firing at the Deputy Chief's door... Right? The Underground had recorded the event and would edit the video to cover their voices... They would wait until after the investigation to send the video straight to Sanchez himself... There was no trace that it was The Underground... Yet.
  12. Nothing here is about my faction. My faction shouldn't even be brought up in this thread, but I will say that my faction has a fairly high number of members, excellent activity, some of the highest OOC and IC requirements of literally any group on the server, and I've had zero complaints about any of those from Faction Services. The rest of the comment is valid and fair. I would still rather have 15 gangs with 5 people active most of the time in each over 4 gangs with 10 people active most of the time.
  13. We updated our main front page with our rules, vehicles, graphics, etc.!
  14. More groups = more RP. Less groups = less RP. We have to be realistic with the population of the server at hand in it's current state, not the 600+ players it once had when the rule was implemented. At the end of the day, the server does have some staple factions that are most likely permanent in the server at this point such as Lost and Rooks, but I'm not suggesting that they kick these members; just that they cannot recruit until they are down to the faction limit. Being totally blunt, I have seen multiple factions hit that 40 cap by recruiting people practically new to the server and use them to wipe out smaller gangs in 30+ people zergs. At the peak of ECRP we typcially hit around 300 people some days, specifically Sundays... Obviously I don't believe that ALL of those players belong to these bigger factions while online, but I don't believe it's impossible to see that only having a few powerful 40 man factions while everyone else is in a stale state is healthy. I can't speak for RS or Ballas, but Underground has arguably one of, if not the most straining recruitment arch you can go through. Our OOC requirements are extremely high (100k min XP just to be a recruit, clean admin records, faction posting, and even then there are an extreme amount of IC tasks that I've disclose to Faction Services to solely have dedicated characters within the faction) and that has lead to a lot of denials to enter out faction. I believe currently we've denied over 20 people within 45 days. Quite frankly, this isn't real life. Some sections of realism do have to be sacrificed for the sake of fun, such as but not limited to the Official path tier system, the fact that criminals run rampant and are consistently using meta vehicles, and the ability to cook drugs without having to look up an irl guide to it. At the end of the day, we're all here for fun. If we rarely see 50% of that 40 man faction, why not split off and create a new faction? I feel as though that mentality should be encouraged to start new things and to have more fun. I don't think the server should be about power or shooting, it should be about roleplay and the ability to do it effectively. Guns and shooting are way too often the first answer to problems in this server, but I feel like that's an entirely different thread. This already happens, but there's a cycle. Clap crew comes in (typically after an Official Faction disbands) Clap crew fights everyone in the city Clap crew eventually disbands within a month, two, or sometimes three and reforms into a group ready to get back into actual RP. I think this is more a problem for Faction Services and staff to take note of, as running around killing everyone you can is fairly discouraged in terms of faction lore and is usually looked into pretty quickly. I believe constantly seeking out conflict is typically discouraged overall.
  15. I think my argument here with the -1 due to time zones is primarily that groups already do this and I don’t see them being effected much. Most groups typically lean into whatever time zone their leader(s) is and show activity around that, and while their may be a few stragglers from that norm; it seems to be every groups main population as it is. I understand the argument, but I’d rather see three groups of ten-fifteen who are different time zones over one group of 40 that could disrupt the ebb and flow of newer groups. I don’t believe it would hurt the server heavily on a long term scale for late night players, I think it might promote the opposite. These players would have a chance to forge newer groups overall. If I have 40 members, and 10 of them are the “night crew” that I barely get to interact with; I’d rather them begin their own faction at those hours and do things they enjoy more and bring the server more RP opportunities. Obviously if a group is at a faction cap, they can’t continue to recruit anyway; but it’ll force them to recruit smarter and want to pick their members a lot more carefully. I think that this should honestly be the norm regardless. You said here that a faction could have 10 different members active in three different time zones at almost all times, and I for one think that those numbers are phenomenal. Ten heads is enough to do any activity on the server easily, and having ten around the clock seems fairly solid to me. A faction can turn down people for any reason, and I feel like time zones are a lot of that reason already. If a faction can make it work, then that’s fantastic for them, but at the end of the day I don’t believe 40 player factions are healthy in the current climate of the server.
  16. So, I know I'm not the only one who has thought this and I've seen the suggestion made on other posts, but quite frankly I've always felt that the criminal faction members cap should be lowered. My initial thought was 25, or perhaps 30. I just wanna give some bullet points as to why this would be beneficial to the server as a whole. Less criminals per group will always equal to more criminal groups running around. We have three official factions at the time of writing this post, and four unofficial criminal factions that have been stable and ongoing for more than a month. I feel like while that is quite a few, I would love to see more groups flourish because right now; ECRP relies on criminals very, very heavily. With more gang activity and more groups, we will obviously get more RP coming out of this. More groups means more fights, more alliances, more activity in parts of town where we see none, and could bring potentially bring back older players and newer players alike. Lastly, I just want to say that if this were ever implemented; I would like it introduced the same way as before when the 40 person cap was placed. I don't want to see factions be forced to kick people just to be down to that number, I would like them to not be able to recruit until they lowered to that number over time. What are your thoughts and suggestions to potentially lower the cap? Why would you be against it, assuming you decide to give that -1?
  17. Underground had been suffering from inside jobs against them for some time. They knew it was a pair of people working with the police… All they had to do was confirm it. Frequencies getting leaked, the dead-drop safe code being leaked… They knew it was Margarita Kol and Trey “TJ” James. After a few days, they began to devise a plan against them with promises of Low Command positions. Margarita and TJ had been acting strange for quite some time… Lying about where they were constantly, always being seen around police, dropping their colors and going against faction morals at every single turn. It was time for it all to end. They caught Margarita in an all black outfit at Mission Row… The final straw. Sayaka Yukimura, infamous for her multiple takedowns on Underground; had been heard on our frequency within sheer minutes of Margarita and TJ picking it up from the safe. It was confirmed that those two were the rats. The Underground would stage a group photo with everyone on their knees… Margarita Kol and Trey “TJ” James were both pronounced dead upon arrival of PD landing on scene. A small shootout occurred where “Mouse” and “C” were only hit once each, which was a surprise to both of them; as the pair had often times frequented labs and begged for shootouts against Underground’s wishes. The rats were dead… “C” and “Mouse” were the only two forced to serve time for the double homicide of the LSPD’s rats. They boasted about their deaths while in custody, telling the detectives “Next time take your snitches shooting or get them a laser sight.”
  18. I'm just trying to give ideas as to what sounds fun. As I stated, I wasn't sure as to if this is something as simple as dropping a point similar to those that can spawn an interior, or if it would require actual dev work. I'd rather be told "No, we can't do that" over "No one ever suggested it, so we never thought to include it"!
  19. I'm not sure if this would take development time, as I'm not entirely sure as to if SA+ could just do this or not; but perhaps at tier 3+ we could get access to a gang script parking at our HQ? I've noticed almost all gangs leave their vehicles out at their HQs now and that would be an amazing addition.
  20. Since at tier 1 we are now going to be in talks with modders regarding custom clothing, I would also love to see custom liveries for the faction be available around lower tiers!
  21. I would also adore this. My faction has always wanted to make a skate/BMX park somewhere but all of the props for that must be admin spawned and aren't available in the furniture store.
  22. I like all of the ideas here except this one. I don't agree with raising the member cap, as increasing them will only give smaller and newer factions even more little room to grow. +1 on all of the rest overall. I know FS/FM is against the idea of giving a vehicle/vehicles for factions, but a faction specific vehicle would be really cool. Maybe not as a permanent thing, but maybe a /fspawn similar to how mechanic factions get? I'm not sure the difficulty of the implementation of it, but would love to see that happen. (I don't think it would take development work since it's already available in game as well? But unsure)
