The Underground

Naomi was smoking on her roof, when Melody called The Underground together to go hit a bank.  Everyone was gathered together in a parking lot, as the Dragons drove by, stared at us for about 10 minutes before getting bored.  The crew was ready to roll up to the LifeInvader Bank, and the alarms go off minutes before, so everyone scattered and regrouped by Pink Cage.  Naomi took her favorite spot on the roofs nearby, and positioned the other scout on the East side of the bank.

Naomi gave the signal, and then everyone rolled in, held the tellers up, gave them a nap, breached the vault and grabbed all the cash the government owed its society.  Everything went to plan, minus Charlie Bankshot getting caught.  Naomi was on the way to a different roof to continue smoking on another roof, and then she heard a shout behind her: "ON YOUR KNEES".  There was a cadet from the Los Santos Police Department that found her running off towards a different roof.  She took a deep breath and got on her knees as she was being patted down.

Naomi was taken to the Mission Row Holding cell by the backup, Alexander Olsson, in which they exchanged pleasantries and Naomi was told that "She was the politest bank robber he's ever arrested", to which the reply was, "I'm just polite, not really that last part."  She continued exchanging pleasantries about Christmas and the trees at Mission Row, but when Olsson claimed that she could hypothetically be a scout, she just repeated her right to stay silent and "that anything you say can and will be used against you."   After about 10 minutes of talking she was informed the Cadet placed the bank robbery charge, and she just laughed and asked for a supervisor.

Naomi was then driven to the Department of Corrections where she met Detective Jonathon Willowick, and calmly explained that she was charged incorrectly.  The same cadet that patted her down originally was there, and asked if anything was found on her, which resulted in her laughing and said you're the one that patted me down buddy, you better still have my gloves and radio.  The detective told me to wait at the entrance to the prison's intake and there was a long and awkward conversation and she was told that her charge was taken off by Elena Blake, and the Cadet would be talked to about aggressively placing charges without evidence.  In what was a first, the Olsson drove her away from the prison, down to city parking with a massive grin on her face.

Naomi met up with Ace Parker at City parking, and the two of them noticed a very fatal flaw that the Los Santos Police Department made:  The bank vault was still open.  The two of them nodded and Ace ran in to grab the cash, with Naomi parked just across the street ready to zoom the minute she even thought she heard anyone.  However it was their lucky day, with another $90,000 in packed cash liberated from the bank, and the two of them laughing and making out like bandits.  On the third of November, Naomi fought the law and Naomi won.

An illegal u-turn was all it took for Charlie to have her 'fun' for the day.

When the deputy pulled her over, she parked on the line.
"Move to the shoulder. The dirt."
She drove into the nearby ditch.
"...first time being pulled over, huh? Drive in front of me and stop."
She drove in front of him, motorbike's front wheel kissing his bumper.
"No. Turn 180 and stop in front of me."
She turned, 180 and drove about 20 feet.
His backup arrived and he approached her.
"May I see your license?"
"Why am I being pulled over?"
"I will tell you after you show me your license."
"Nope. Why am I being pulled over?"
"Show me your license."
"Why am I being pulled over?"
This was the most tedious part of her game. She had to make them annoyed enough to distract them. But on and on they went until he went to issue her a charge for non-compliance.

Her chance.

She kicked the engine on and sped off. He was out of the car and she had a long running head start. Go uphill into the forest, lose them in the trees was her go-to method. If that didn't work, head higher and try to out-drive them on the way down. If that didn't work, head for the city and get into to the maze of tunnels like the rat she prided herself on being.

The first method worked. She heard the sirens die out behind her as she waited patiently among the bushes.

Charlie 1, SD 0.

But now she likely had a BOLO and would need to be cunning and careful.

A few more hours of picking weed lead her to needing gas and a quick repair. She peered into the parking lot of Bayview and saw it was clear of SD.

Her smile twitched as she saw Yuki Nakamura, one of the DOC wardens waiting for a repaint or a repair on the ledge. Days before, Charlie had been witness while Naomi had relieved Yuki of one of her vehicles from that same mechanic shop. She knew it was dangerous to mess with law enforcement, especially when wanted for arrest, but she couldn't help herself.

"Yuki!"
"Not again, Charlie. Not again. Not again." Not a word more did Charlie let her get in edgewise.
"What's in the RV, Yuki? Is it drug tables? Coke tables? Mary-jo-wanna tables? How scandelous!"

Charlie went up the RV and told the mechanic she was the owner of it, with the poor warden on her heels, claiming contrary and locking the big van.
Not one to give up, the mischievous Bankshot slipped into the RV when Yuki unlocked it to drive. It was...grossly underwhelming.  Empty unlocked safes and nothing else.
With a huff, she hopped out, called Yuki boring, and then noticed the SD van driving into the parking lot.

Without even a chance to refuel or repair her bike, she was off again, getting high on the only drug she needed- adrenaline.

Too far from the forest to use as reliable cover, up the side of mount Chiliad she went, leaning forward on the bars and muttering "Come on, baby. Good girl. Just a little more."
She could feel gravity straining on her bike and knew it had to be affecting the scout behind her too. Gritting her teeth, almost willing the bike to hold traction, she surmounted the side and turned to look over her shoulder. The scout was right behind her. Just as she planned.

She took off at a breakneck pace down the narrow traces of the mountain side, no trail and too many bushes to see dangerous rocks. Tears streaming from her eyes and spittle from her lips at the sides, she careened down like a woman possessed, knowing if she stopped for even a second, the scout could catch her- Or worse, crush her beneath its out of control tires.

A tree right in her path. She cursed, turning the bike as hard as she could, but this only resulted in a skittering motion. She was no longer a driver, simply a passenger of a rogue vehicle. Bracing for impact, she winced and cut as hard to the side as she could-

The tires of the bike hit the tree and deflected her harmlessly to the side, the frame taking the entire brunt and not even stalling. It was a miracle, and she had found the highway with no siren behind her. She slid down the last portion, onto the road, and skittered like a rat into a stone depression cut into the hill's base- an old storm drain. She knew this one well, it was an old hiding place she liked, and she slipped into it comfortably, ducking to not hit the ceiling. Just enough room for her and her bike, which had begun smoking.  It had four litres of fuel left in it and the oil gauge flashed 141. A close call.

Five minutes later, she slipped out of Bayview. A mechanic friend of her's had let her hide in the garage while he fixed her bike for the parts fee alone. He was a good trusted sort and often aided her, even in her wrongdoings.

And not five minutes after that, gunfire on the highway between SD and another gang, she guessed WOO by the colour. Taking advantage of the distraction, she slipped into the hole in the wall that lead to her second favourite drug lab. She began to pick, and only looked up when SD cars pulled inside. Once more, she was on her bike and running as only Charlie runs, heading backwards down the highway and into a bush, peering out of the branches. But this time, SD did not chase. They had bigger fish to fry.

101 plants slipped into the safe that night and Charlie beamed with pride at her accomplishments, and felt sated from adrenaline. With the play of the day done, it was time to get back to work. Noticing low ammonia stocks, she once more mounted her pink and black Manchez and set off for the humane lab.

As she turned a corner, a small rock decimated her wheel and the bike bucked her off into the middle of the road. Bruised and cut badly, she cursed, unable to do much but reach for her cellphone. She called MD, reporting she fell off her bike about 200 feet from Pillbox. She smiled as the ambulance pulled up, then stared with horror as SD followed behind. The same man she had been running from all day.

After being stitched up and doctored, the officer was ready to take the slippery rat to DOC. But the rat didn't want to go. She tried running (twice), and when that didn't work, she talked.
"Okay. I am going to read your rights. You-"
"Have the right to remain silent." They said in unison. A pause.
"Go ahead." Charlie assured.
"Anything you say or do can-" Unison. "And will be used against-"
"Please, continue."
"Do you want to recite the rights?"
"No, I don't know them."
"...okay. You have-"
"A right to a government appointed attorney during legal questioning." Unison.
"...do you understand your rights?"
"No. please repeat them.

Wash, rinse, repeat.

A very frustrated SD deputy sighed and looked at her sourly.
"Okay. I am going to repeat these and clarify anything you don't know. You- Charlie Bankshot-"
"WHO'S CHARLIE BANKSHOT?!"
A sigh.
"I'm....uh...chief Bacon. NO WAIT. I'M JOSEPH SANCHEZ."
"Okay. You, Joseph Sanchez, have the right to remain silent. Anything you, Joseph Sanchez, say can and will be used against you-Joseph Sanchez. You, Joseph Sanchez, have a right to a government appointed attorney during legal questioning. Do you, Joseph Sanchez, understand these rights?"
"...I am really glad you're arresting Joseph Sanchez, he's a menace."

She then went limp and laid on the sidewalk and had to be dragged like a child to the car.

Keep them annoyed enough to distract them.

She wondered how to deal her final blow to the man...and then it came to her. As they turned onto the highway towards DOC, she began to sing.

"BAAAAAABYYYY SHARK DO-DO-DO-DO-DO-DOO!"

A small meeting among the top members of The Underground was called by Naomi and Melody to discuss a topic we all knew was coming. The city didn't have a group willing to push being a militia or just a pure mercenary group. After all the time The Underground had spent on its chaotic nature, they realized that even chaos needs some order sometimes. Ironing out the official roles of everyone as well as the uniforms of each rank was a must and with the tunnels now boarded off, change was coming fast.

A temporary headquarters was found about a parking garage near Tequi-La-La, but their home was still gone. It was time to be on the hunt for any new place to call home. The meeting wasn't long but filled with details of how we should begin to work with
Salvation as their main source of ordering for business. Both hands were out in the open and with the exchange of information, both parties realized we're simply two sides of the same coin. With the new militia theme of The Underground, they were happy to assist their new big brother organization out whenever they possibly could with anything.

Salvation was here to root out corruption as vigilantes hidden in the dark.
The Underground was here to burn the city to the ground.

Naomi was adjusting to life without her legal job at Weazel News.  On one hand, it was weirdly freeing, but on the other hand, she found herself with too much free time.  She had time to discuss the uniforms and structure of The Underground with Melody.  The two talked plenty and presented their plan to Charlie and Ace, who agreed that we'd lean on our anarchist routes and make it an official rebellious militia.  Even if we weren't sailing the tunnels and canals anymore, Naomi fancied herself and Melody as Admirals and rebranded The Underground from there. She found herself a captain's hat, threw it on, and led the group into shenanigans.  She led plenty of cars from the pier, cars from the back of parking, and any bike she could get her hands on to the Scrapyard, happy to have the quick payday.  It wasn't quite Weazel News money, but it was easy, fast, and dirty money.

unknown.png

What was good money, however, was drug production.  Naomi found herself still with plenty of time to make drugs and still teach the members how to cook them as well.  She rode her Pink Manchez Scout out to the weed farms, grabbed what she could, and occasionally worked with other groups to hold the farms down.  She bought guns for the group and sold them only internally, and kept the good times rolling.

unknown.png

However, something had to go wrong, and Naomi found herself driving a desperate rescue mission to get Melody out of the back of a cruiser.  The chase ended at the parking lot of DOC, and with her full of bullets from SD's backup.  She found Detective Quinn at the scene and asked her if this is truly what she wanted at the end.  Yet another girl left out on the streets, fired from her job at Weazel due to her friends.   She simply laughed back at me, saying "I'd rather have you arrested than an anarchist writing news."  That sentence sat with her in prison, hatching plans for the future.

As the Underground grew in numbers and strength upon picking up some of the members of the Bridge Street Brotherhood, they quickly knew it was time to set chaos in motion. The shootouts with other gangs, cooking drugs, robbing the governments own banks; all of this meant next to nothing. It was finally time to bring the fight to PD in ways other than firefights.
It's inevitable that every tribe in Los Santos eventually bows out before the power of the
LSPD, but the Underground had plans to at least fight them in ways no one else has...
Inflating the thoughts of corruption with the people.

Melody crushed up a pill of ecstasy and mixed it with a small bottle of water, smiling. She gave the order to her tribe to begin the start of the Underground's plan by having her members begin to follow the members of both the police department and sheriff's department that the members believed to potentially be corrupt. Everyone has to clock off eventually and have a life outside of work, and if we begin to get impatient; we make them clock off.
Follow them, watch them, learn everything you can. Who they love, what they love, everyone they even sleep with and the snitches they talk to.
Slip something in their drinks and make them vulnerable.
Blackmail could be the key to finding a new opening in the organization.

As the Underground pressed forward and were pushed by other groups, there were a lot of terms thrown at them that forced a smile upon their faces.
Sewer Rats, Pinkies, even vermin...
In the face of opposition you cannot fight with numbers and guns, you have to resort to much more underhanded techniques such as intimidation and blackmail. The ongoing conflicts between the Underground and
[REDACTED] were growing ever so heavier as they were told to abandon the members who came from the Bridge Street Brotherhood in that very meeting with [REDACTED] and to kill one of their own members because of the issues they had caused. The plague-bearing rat group would hold several meetings and adopt the new rat mask as their organization had finally decided to begin choosing it's next members much more carefully. Quality over quantity this time.
L5jCKFD.png
The next member of command was chosen to be Brayden Rush, and upon putting on the black rat mask to represent his stature within the organization, Melody took the man to the cemetery on the west side of the city, explaining why the government truly closed off the sewers.
Melody had frequently gutted the enemies she had killed and left the meat down there for what she believed to be a deity of sorts, a cryptid rat-man hybrid of which she had never seen; but only hoped it existed. It only made sense as to why the human remains she left there would vanish seemingly into thin air...
She took Brayden and explained that as an oath to the Rat Lord, they would take up the mantle of His children with the masks and begin doing the only thing that would make Him prouder than simple sacrifices of the ones who they have defeated.
To devour our fallen members, His children; as a way to show our faith upon becoming more than a mere member.
Our command was to show faith in a way they could never step away from, as this was more than another common gang.
We are a family. We are His.

Underground set out to plan the usual bank heist that is done often. Route 68 was the target and the plan was set in motion everything went as smoothly as it could but as soon as the vault door was opened and the second door was as well the cop response was too quick and Underground decided to bail. All ran out and hopped on their bikes and took off to lose the police. One person was being chased and the plan was to set up and ambush the cop chasing. The plan was to bring them into a one way alleyway and try to shoot the cops and bail. Sadly Underground underestimated the response time of more officers and after downing about 3 deputies Underground was all down riddled with bullets. Ems was called and Underground was treated and then transported to Central Hospital where a DOC Transport vehicle was waiting to move them all to DOC. Underground's plan had failed, but a statement was made loud and clear that Underground is not afraid to fight back against the Police force no matter the numbers.

Two members left The Underground to form their own organization, the Eastside Vagos. The Underground bid them farewell with respect until a lone ex-member attempted to poach one of the pink rats from their home...
"Get out while you can, it's a cult."
The words echoed over the radio as Melody called the man to confirm it. She informed him to watch his back and choose his words carefully moving forward. The very next day the same member of Eastside Vagos shot at a member of Underground and with the assistance of a secret society of Italians, he was executed in the mountains of Chiliad. A few small skirmishes would happen before Melody demanded a command meeting or to simply fight them.

cR9gAI3.png

During the meeting, their leader [REDACTED] continued to chuckle occasionally. Melody asked how they would make the shootouts right, how would we continue to get along if shots continued to be fire constantly at The Underground. [REDACTED] laughed again and a shootout ensued with The Underground finishing the conflict off on a new leaf. She nodded to her friends for coming and thanked them all for being there.

((Thanks to the Eastside Vagos for the fun RP through the duration of this conflict, I'm glad we all could enjoy the conflict and all great things always come to an end eventually. I'm glad you guys got to pursue your dream of your own organization ❤️ ))

The Underground's plans were finally in motion and it was time for a test run. Melody crushed some meth into a fine powder and stirred it into a soda and coffee, smiling at her idea. She approached a nice officer, one she even deemed her friend; but she had to try it somehow. She handed [REDACTED] the soda, but the officer was a wise one and took it back to mission row without drinking it, seemingly onto the idea Melody might be trying to drug him. She cursed under her breath a little, but she had to try again.
She approached another officer, a trusting and kind-hearted soul who had done next to nothing wrong in this city. The individual seemed so happy to move up from being a cadet, and Melody's heart began to sink a little. It was only a little meth, right? It couldn't really hurt him that much, could it?
She passed him a cup of coffee, and the officer smiled and radioed in that he would be taking a coffee break. A few minutes later Melody passed by Mission Row to pay some tickets, only to see several medics and officers rushing into the building.
The officer had collapsed from a potential overdose.

PA1YGGa.jpg

Melody's heart sank even deeper into her stomach. She had to try to play dumb to get out of custody as she was detained and questioned almost right away. The detective at hand wouldn't fall for her shenanigans, not today at least. She was charged and thrown into the Department of Corrections, rightfully so; and was told later by officers that any further tomfoolery on her part would result in suppression from the Gang Field Unit. Melody shrugged, but knew that her stunt worked. She felt bad for the two people she had betrayed to get the job done; but she knew it could be done now. She smiled while in prison and began her sentence torn with emotions.

The confidence of success...
And the burden of betrayal.

I am so happy you were able to play this RP scenario out. When Melody told me about trying to get a cop to drink a drugged drink I was thinking about how crazy Melody is, but also how refreshing and new Underground's RP is. Always a pleasure to associate with you guys ❤️

Was a normal day for Koda as he woke up in his apartment and got ready for the day ahead of him. He changed his clothes, grabbed a radio from the wardrobe, got on the frequency and headed out to go hunting as he does once at the beginning of every day. While out hunting he received a frantic call on radio from Melody to meet him at a certain chopshop because she had acquired a vehicle on his way to meet her; she had also given another call that she was being pulled over on the lower highway next to pillbox. The plan was made if need be would be her evading, and to meet at the “Vagos Den”. After a bit she made the call to evade and Koda headed to the Den to prepare for her. She gave the call that she was close and the plan was put into action. She pulled in, hopped the wall and they took off and were in the clear until a bf400 came down a side street and launched the vehicle into a tree stalling the engine. Melody took off on foot while Koda attempted to get the engine going again after multiple failed attempts the engine had finally sputtered to life and Koda pulled up and picked up melody again and booked it down the sideways. After a solid twenty seconds they were in the clear and heading up to Paleto to swap out clothes and vehicle.

((This is my last post for the Underground faction and all I can say is that I appreciate Melody and Naomi allowing me to be apart of the fun. From the random shenanigans to the banks to the stores all of it was top tier Roleplay and I will forever remember it as it played a huge part in my characters progression as a person so as a final farewell Thank you Naomi and Melody and all of Underground past or present <3))

The Underground knew it was time for more change.
Meeting after meeting, day after day, they knew they needed to leave their temporary headquarters on Spanish Avenue. The meeting first scheduled for the week was with
Black Disciples, a group with common enemies that the Underground shared. They showed up with guns, armor, freshly covered in the blood of another organization they both disliked. The Underground smiled and knew the friendship between the two syndicates would be a fun one, to say the least.
tXhGque.png

The Underground swiftly met up with the Bridge Street Brotherhood, referring to them as the "Bridge Street Besties" due to how deep the relationship ran between the two groups. They agreed almost immediately to be allied, as the respect between the two groups ran through their blood.
CfIzl3x.png

The Underground had to move out, the location was just too terrible for a group of rats. They dreamed of the sewers opening back up, but as time went on; they lost that hope... Until they saw a sight all too similar. Underneath a highway not far from the Motorsport Dealership was an entire encampment of homeless individuals sleeping in tents, trash, with small lanterns and dumpster fires...
The place was already set up for them, and absent the public's eye... Why not just take it?
Which was exactly what they did.

K3r8xzI.png
The Underground finally had a home away from home until their tunnels opened back up...

Naomi woke up on her own bed, with a wide smile on her face.  It's not often you get to rob a bank, get shot down by a gang officer, and wake up in your own bed that same evening.  After a quick trip to Mors' insurance to get her trusty Shinobi back, she radioed in that it's time for work again.  Today was a fine day for laundering money, especially with the fines awaiting her, but that was a problem for future Naomi.  Naomi met up with everyone under the bridges to tell them all today's plan:  Rush the stores

ug.PNG

Everything went to plan, Palomino, Dyer Delights, Grove with some Black Disciples rushing in to help, behind the bank, and the crew was laughing and smiling as we drove up north to terrorize the rest of the stores.  Unfortunately for us, SD had set up a checkpoint on Los Santos Freeway, and Naomi went in, and turned around, and blasted back down the wrong way down the highway.  She lost SD for a second on her Shinobi, but it wasn't long until a Sherrif's Crown Vic was behind her, chasing her all around Sandy Shores.  Naomi made the radio call for backup, and the crew setup outside the Grapeseed Store, Naomi sped past on her Shinobi, got off and fire was quickly opened on the car, spinning it into the fence with cries of "aah, ahh, CODE 1, CODE 1"  with the rest of us laughing, driving down the highway off to go rob more stores.  The day ended with plenty of money in the groups pockets, and laundered through our favorite Motorcycle Crew.  Naomi slunk back into bed, her insurance bill paid off, and with a large smile on her face.

After a long-lasting feud between DOC and the Underground, Brayden Finally got his chance to strike back. Him, Melody, and DQ where chilling at the pier, just relaxing. After standing there with nothing to do, two DOC Guards approached them off-duty. Brayden had an everlasting quarrel with one of them, which was just starting to calm down, but after seeing him off duty and vulnerable; his emotions started raging.

Brayden asked them if they would like to have a few beers and relax, and both men, after being a little suspicious because of an Underground member poisoning a cop not too long before; still agreed to have the beer. So not to long after that Brayden asked DQ keep the two guys distracted while he ran to get booze and meet Melody at her place. Melody had recently purchased some meth from
The Seijin Family Yakuza for this specific reason. Once he got the beer, he met Melody at her apartment where she began to mix meth inside of the drink. After being gone for about 15 minutes, Brayden went back to the pier to complete his plan. Both correctional officers were both super suspicious of Brayden being gone so long, but he told them that he just got pulled over on the way. Brayden handed one a spiked drink first, Which right off he noticed a gash on the cap of beer, so he asked DQ to take a drink of the beer for him because of his suspicion; which he did.  One of the correctional officers shrugged and began to drink the beer.

The other officer sniffed the drink before taking a gulp and finishing off the beer...
Upon getting high, they were both rushed to Pillbox Medical Center and tested both the officers and the bottle positive for meth.
Melody went undercover to listen into the conversations between the medics and Department of Corrections command, smiling in the lobby as no one suspected her even a bit. They knew it was Brayden, and she gave him enough time to deposit any illegal items on him until he was caught. The two officers were placed on 24 hour medical leave.

During the beginning of a bank robbery, an officer pulled up in their Caracara and zero hesitation to grab their shotgun. A callout was made on radio to leave, but Naomi was willing to fight and drew her gun back. Quickly losing the gunfight after a few rounds were slung; the rest of the crew managed to escape. Bouncing to a new frequency, the group had a plan.
Get her out of custody.

While a member was getting chased by the rest of
LSPDMelody drove quickly to DOC and hid her bike in a bush, dropping her colors and sneakily making her way into the bush out front with a shotgun. She racked a round into the chamber and mumbled on radio that she can't talk for a while... The member being chased managed to escape and finally, after twenty minutes of waiting; the perfect storm happened. A separate inmate was delivered, causing all of the DOC guards outside to funnel back inside while another officer outside was doing paperwork. She had her chance.

She leapt out of the bush at the officer with her shotgun armed, yelling to leave the truck unlocked and to get down. She jumped into the driver's seat and mumbled "Good boy" as she drove off and tore the tracking device out. They two drove to Stab City to meet with the group and get her out of handcuffs.
The truck flipped, and with only one spare seat between all of them; Melody opted to stay behind to ensure Naomi's safety.

Hearing sirens shortly after, Melody crouched down and hid amongst the rubble of a broken trailer and slipped passed the group to the river; running along the side of it to escape. A pair of cops saw her and she heard the door slam shut, and she tucked into yet another bush with her shotgun out...
She waited for the two to scatter after not finding her, waiting even longer for the presence of police and sheriffs to leave.

Naomi was wanted, but safe... And so was the Rest of The Underground; all thanks to the power of foliage.

The Underground had been up to their usual shenanigans and a small thorn in their side decided to return.
Upon deciding to hit a bank, an unknown assailant was in their HQ among them wearing pink... An unusual sight as no one recognized the bike they were on. After a small chase, it was revealed to be a man from a previous shootout; who decided to chase and eliminate one of The Underground's members at their previous HQ. The group swarmed with over ten responding members and eliminated the man swiftly in an act of retaliation for their actions, however it was a short lived victory.

Melody gave the command to put all guns and illegal contraband away, as there were quite a few witnesses. They were far away, but without a doubt the police would be seeking out "Pink people with rat masks" and before long, they were. They saw the cruisers circling their HQ and they all smiled knowing they had nothing on them. A sole potential recruit didn't listen and instead decided to run when it happened, but the raid swiftly started. They heard the doors close from the overpass above and heard the cars nearby as they swarmed. The group was told to remain silent by Melody and to simply comply as she knew they would have no hard evidence.

As the LSPD pulled in, the group simply put their hands up and complied as planned. They got away with their retaliation and the raid was (mostly) unsuccessful. Some of the group laughed, some were shaken, but in the end; they were all free.

A member had left The Underground behind in hopes of forming something new, a new core group in the city of Los Santos. That dream was short lived, but all good things come to an end. Vince, a single member who had left; was told to cut the hair of an ex member whom of which had ran the same group he left for as a form or reinitiating into The Underground. Vince agreed, telling the group of the things the man had said.
How he laughed and called us a cult, the things he wanted to do to our members, and the want to push The Underground out of the city.

The Underground managed to, with their prideful unorthodox tactics; kidnap the unnamed man and get him at gunpoint. They taught him a lesson in revenge, and left with smiles on their faces. It's unknown to this day rather or not that man lived...
But The Underground managed to have yet another successful "scoop" as they would begin to call their kidnappings.

"You are the way and the wayfarers.
And when one of you falls down, he falls for those behind him, a caution against the stumbling stone.
Aye, and he falls for those ahead of him, who, though faster and surer of foot, yet removed not the stumbling stone."

Prologue

New York City - 1987 to 2013

764008555_nyc2014.thumb.jpg.99d975021a4fb28a421b4cc57c82dc0c.jpg

Vince Torelli was born on November 19th, 1987 in Newark, New Jersey. The son of Torelli crime family heir apparent James Torelli, Jr., Vince grew up as the youngest male child in the family. Vince was born in a time when mobsters were all the rage across the Hudson - the era of the likes of John Gotti and Carmine Ferrone. A time battered by the threat of nuclear war, where crack cocaine was as much of a deadly, incurable disease as the illness that swept Africa. A time and place where the thirst for capital gains wasn't bought; it was inherited.

Vince grew up in the suburbs of New Jersey, mostly sheltered from the work of his father. In this time of his early childhood, Vince's grandfather, James Torelli, Sr. was under constant scrutiny from federal authorities as part of Ronald Reagan's RICO crackdowns. His incarceration in 1993 further added to Vince's hopeful civilian path in life. His older brothers and sisters knew of the criminal side, and it was Vince's blindness to that criminal life that prompted James Torelli, Jr. to seek out a legal line of work for Vince.

Mischievous as a child, Vince's mischief grew further in his teenage years. The turbulent early 2000s were a time of great freedom for Vince. He met his future wife Abigail Robinson in middle school, with their great friendship soon turning romantic. Although during this time Vince had no criminal convictions, rumors suggest Vince, Abigail and others were frequently engaged in petty general mischief, such as parking a car on the roof of his school, or destroying the school's water pipe network for fun.

As a youngster, Vince dreamed of becoming an astronomer. He would spend long hours studying the sky, drawing star charts on old steakhouse mats, showing a particular interest in the Zeta Reticuli star system. However, as college approached and pressure from his father grew, Vince knew astronomy was most likely going to be merely a dream. Pressured by his father into getting a legal job, Vince was thrust into Columbia University in 2005 to pursue degrees in the financial world.

During college later that year, Vince was secured a permanent position in Faraday Security, an investment firm on Madison Avenue. In late 2007, he married Abigail. In 2008, Vince and Abigail had two children, Ryan and Josephine. As a very busy man balancing school and professional work, Vince rarely had time to spend with his children.

In 2009, James Torelli died and his son, James Jr. assumed the role as full boss of the Torelli crime family.

Vince earned a Master's in Business Analytics in 2011, and became a full-time employee of Faraday soon after. The early 2010s were a time of great joy for Vince's house, as his mobster blood was kept distant, there was a plethora of money rolling in due to his talent, and with school done, he had plenty of time to spend with his children. Despite not being able to follow his dreams of astronomy, Vince lived a life of luxury. He owned an Albany V-STR, lived in a large house in Caldwell, New Jersey; his wife was happy, his children were happy, and most importantly, his father was happy.

Loss

New Jersey - 2014 to 2016

1879857792_Vincecoin.png.c6a05e84ab030d42d589d062dd1ddcb1.png

The company ran into turbulence starting in 2013. Several new companies on Wall Street began stealing the business of Faraday, with budget cuts and potential layoffs expected. Vince remained in relative comfort, due in part to his great skills as a data analyst, but more so because of his father's influence. However, by late 2014, Faraday had no other choice than to outsource Vince's high-paying job to a foreign data analyst, and due to the high-profile nature of the case, his father couldn't challenge this decision. Vince was stranded with no income.

In order to save money, Vince had to sell the mansion and cars. By mid 2015, tensions between him and Abigail grew, especially as no hope for future employment was found on the horizon. Vince turned to alcoholism, which ate through monthly spending allowances. When the relationship between Abigail and Vince grew violent, she filed for divorce in 2016, and used an incident of Vince throwing a wine glass at her to claim domestic abuse and secure the large majority of the family's assets, leaving Vince with virtually nothing.

Living jobless in a medium-grade apartment building in Newark, Vince was allowed very minimal time to see the children, who at times refused to go with Vince. Depressed and nearing bankruptcy, Vince drifted from bar to bar, blowing what little money he had left on booze, in an attempt to wash away his past. By early 2017, Vince was so in debt that he lost his apartment and was forced to live day to day homeless on the streets of north Jersey, going from one YMCA to the next, working occasional security jobs. This is how he spent the next three years. He soon joined Alcoholics Anonymous.

In 2020, Vince completed a twelve step program and became sober. However, he had frequent relapses. In 2021, Vince's sponsor, a wealthy and genial middle-aged man, got him a voucher for a special rehab getaway in Los Santos, San Andreas.

Hopes and Fears

Los Santos - July to October 2021

skyline(1).png.130781bef11c6402cef16f22cd56a869.png

Arriving by plane in Los Santos, Vince was taxied to the bus depot in the heart of the city, on a warm night in July, 2021. An equal contrast and similarity to New Jersey, Vince was overwhelmed with the sights and sounds of a living metropolis - a beast whose lifeblood fed on the emotions of man. He could feel the beautiful amber lights were a mask for something deeper, something more sinister. As he made his way to the DMV to get registered in the state of San Andreas, Vince couldn't shake the feeling, as he wandered through a quiet south side of the city.

Minutes turned to hours as Vince forsook pleasure for survival. Hours turned to days as Vince forsook survival for the dollar. He found a steady source of income in waste management, and his late hours of work left him in a dead city. Many late summer nights Vince would spend as the sole garbage man in the city, driving the same lonely route from La Mesa to Vinewood, interrupted only by the rare rival driver or mean-eyed denizen.

After several violent altercations with rival drivers, Vince felt the need to arm and protect himself. By sheer luck, he found a man named Tyrone near the bank, who was able to trade him a .50 caliber pistol for essentially all of Vince's lowly wages. The feeling of security was short-lived, however. When Vince tried test-firing the gun at the garbage station, two men in black on a bike descended from the hills and followed Vince for miles on the freeway, claiming to be police. Eventually, under threat of death, Vince pulled to the side, where he was beaten and robbed of the gun. Knowing that calling the police would incriminate Vince as well, he embraced his status as a criminal and went about doing garbage runs, depressed and anxious.

The months rolled by in monotony, until the endless grind and poverty prompted Vince to turn to criminality. Forsaking his sobriety camp in about September, Vince began making drives up north, where he would harass the local population for info regarding crimes. One such man, David The Angel, took to kindness regarding Vince, and showed him how to chop cars and run labs. In the era of the Goblins, making drugs was a feat that Vince tried desperately to overcome, at the price of many haircuts and coats. However, Vince persisted.

On days when making drugs was too difficult, Vince would instead try and steal cars from Bayview, earning a bad reputation as the "Bayview Caper" during the early autumn months. With most of his time spent hanging around Bayview, Vince would later meet Charlie Bankshot, a known local hood who showed Vince the different labs. A few weeks later, Vince would meet Cristoph Wellerman by offering to give the man a ride from Paleto to city parking. During early October, Vince tried desperately to find and contact Wellerman about potentially joining his circle of associates.

Pretty in Pink

Los Santos - October to November 2021

2079039868_Vinceandmel.thumb.png.91be705a0a1b02d2fdfdc2b0c73f4b6d.png

On October 19, a cancer awareness gala was held on the Del Perro pier - a location Vince had never been before. After a long days work in Paleto, Vince had picked up a random drifter who wanted to attend the party, whose only request is that the guests wear pink. Not fully realizing the power of this color, and also due to his poverty, Vince did not wear pink. However, after mingling with the crowd, Vince spots Charlie Bankshot on the far side of the pier, talking with several other folks, most in pink. Among them include Cristoph Wellerman and Melody Rogers, an up-and-coming anarchist gangster and supposed ringleader of the "people in pink."

After asking for employment in their organization, Charlie said to wait a day or two. Vince obliged, and after a few days, he called Charlie and asked to be recruited. After scouting for a failed bank job, Vince was later tasked by Melody to find and grow 250-some-odd weed plants, to be delivered to a lieutenant named "Ace." Falling short of the intended number, Vince's fast solo work earned him recruitment into the organization known as "The Underground."

As the weeks passed by, Vince would proudly wear pink, but mostly fish on the pier. In between robbing and being robbed, Vince simply tried to exist, and did so with the help of his wonderful friends in pink. On October 30, Vince's Mischief Night on the pier was interrupted by a violent man in a clown mask. Knowing help would soon arrive, Vince radioed in to Underground, and soon, the entire beach was filled with pink-clad bandits on the hunt for the elusive clown.

The message came through the air that the clown had been cornered and shot near the pier, and Vince soon arrived. That night, he "stepped up" for the organization by caving in the head of the clown and gutting him, depositing his remains in various spots in upstate San Andreas.

The month of November came and went, being spent mostly on the pier, or in a car with Sean O'Malley, in pursuit of Misha McQueen's daughters. Vince learned how to rob stores, and officially popped his bank robbing cherry on November 20, where upon escape, he collided with a civilian car less than fifty feet away from the bank, destroying his bike and landing him a short sentence in Mission Row. On that day, he earned two monikers. Lucky Vince, out of sarcasm due to his extremely bad luck of getting hit by the car, and Special Agent Vince, due to suspicions at the time of Vince's short Mission Row sentence for a bank heist and potential involvement with federal authorities.

Ugly in Yellow

Los Santos - December 2021

868863349_vinceesv.thumb.png.0eb35c8805533baf90515112ce79b78b.png

December began with a severe snowstorm that hit around the time Vince got stranded in the wilderness north of Paleto Bay after some kind of botched job. Along with the bad weather came bad tensions within the organization. At the advice of Misha McQueen, Vince began to entertain the idea of joining other organizations. Among them were the Italian organizations, of which he felt very hesitant due to his connection to the Torelli crime family. He approached Marcus Falcone and Giuseppe Palermo several times, but ultimately refused to join them due to their harsh regulations. Another possible pick was "Cal's Crew", led by an unknown man who had connections to Tony Serrano and Rocky.

Vince's wanting to move to another organization was also spurred on by him witnessing the death of Charlie Bankshot on December 2. After robbing several stores, the two were ambushed by a lone bandit on the rooftop of the Weazel Gas launder. Sacrificing herself to save Vince, he escaped on a bike while she was brutally executed. That was the last time she was seen in the city, and her death not only hurt Vince personally, but caused rifts among the lower echelons of The Underground.

Following the ideas of Lansley Seid and David Levine, who convinced Vince that Melody attacked Sean O'Malley and another member of pink for no good reason at the observatory, Vince left The Underground and joined the newly formed "Israeli Crew" of the East Side Vagos. The new organization, based out of the apartment building on Jamestown Street, spent the next few weeks hitting stores, robbing innocents and producing oil in an attempt to raise money for the family. However, ESV lacked one thing that The Underground had - good leadership.

After several run-ins with Falcone's organization due to accidental attacks on La Famiglia members, Vince was tortured by Falcone and Sico, who disrespected Vince's family and lineage, and cut off Vince's right trigger finger and made him eat it - a humiliation and dishonor (it was later replaced prosthetically in Liberty City). This event prompted a de facto war between East Side Vagos and La Famiglia, as well as several other organizations. Eventually, ESV set its sights on The Underground. They formulated a plan on how to flip members of The Underground into joining ESV (which was viewed internally as a kind of rebel movement), and how to attack Melody personally. At one point, the high command of ESV planned to rape and torture her.

Both the conflicts and the riches of East Side Vagos peaked around the third week of December, after which internal conflicts arose between David Levine and Lansley Seid. These included housing and power disputes, and eventually, David was ejected from the organization and the "Vagos" name was dropped entirely. Vince knew he had made a mistake, and started making preparations to make amends and return to The Underground.

The Prodigal Son Returns

Los Santos - January 2022

97225474_Stranger5510_8902-1642903642449.thumb.png.24f7af0c1a270bde9a310df81f27acf2.png

In January, after briefly returning home to New Jersey for Christmas, Vince reached out to Melody asking for peace and reinstatement into The Underground. She accepted happily, under one condition - Vince finds and tortures David Levine. He accepted, and Vince was reinstated as a full member, with the rank of Petty Officer.

After several weeks of hitting stores, Vince eventually tricks David into going in on a store robbery job on the Palomino Freeway. Soon after, a merry band of rat-masked pinkies rush the store and take the rapist hostage. Vince shamed David's half-Italian heritage in the same way his was by Falcone, which was because of David's actions. After bringing the bald baby bitch up to Mount Chiliad, the crew tied a clown mask to his head, snapped a notorious photo, and then turned the mask backwards, letting baldie run down the mountain by himself.

This act of redemption was seen very favorably in the eyes of the Rat Mother, who later confirmed Vince's full rebirth into The Underground.

The month rolled by with more great triumphs for Vince, who managed to become roommates (and best pals) with Ali Valentine, another glorious pinkie. He also began a relationship with fellow Underground member Grace Adams - the only woman in six years who understands Vince's struggles and who he can relate to as another victim of a bad partner.

The Future

Los Santos - February 2022

1670227873_vinceandgrace.thumb.png.a39a202413234645cc48a5f87a42add3.png

Like many things in life, the future of The Underground and Vince's life is undetermined. However, anyone who's ever known what it's like to pick up the rat mask and wear it in the name of family and strength knows that whatever the future may hold, The Underground will get through it together.

It's how the pink's always done things, and it's how the pink always will.

Brayden Rush is from a small town in New York just outside of the city. Brayden’s real father was in the Mafia, and his mother was just an innocent woman who didn’t realize at the time that she got pregnant by a “Gang Banger” in her terms. When his mother found out that her boyfriend was in the Mafia, she moved out of the city and into a small town right outside, leaving no trace of where she went. Meeting a new guy, at a local bar the Sheriff of the small town, he was recently divorced and was looking for a girlfriend, so him and Brayden’s mother instantly clicked. After two weeks of going on dates with the sheriff, Brayden’s mother realized she was pregnant, and knew for sure it wasn’t the sheriffs, that it was her ex-boyfriend’s child, soon to be known as Brayden Rush. When she found out that she was pregnant with a Mafia man’s son she kept it quite and acted like it was the sheriffs.

Fast forward 13 years…. Brayden started to get interested in his family history, especially since he realized he was dark skin, and his “Parents” were both pale white. While looking into it Brayden found out the truth, the sheriff was not his father. He found out where his real father lived and instantly packed his bags with a few days’ worth of clothes and took a cab into the city. Brayden realized why his mom never told him who is real father was when he walked into the door. He walked into a big mansion in a decent neighborhood of the city, not the type of house you’d normally see in this part. There was a lot of people in this big house but at the end of the hall he seen the man, instantly he knew this guy was his father.

Brayden told this guy that he believed that he was his son, the guy doubted him and told him to “go away, you’re not my child” Then Brayden yelled out his mother’s name while two big guys picked him up by the arms to carry him out the door, and everyone’s mouths dropped. They connected the dots that his mother left because she was pregnant and didn’t want her son to grow up like his father. So, Brayden’s father seeked vengeance and started teaching him how it is to run a Mafia, persuading him that this is the better life than what his mother is offering him. He gave his son everything he could ever want, money and weed. Brayden stuck around learning what his father does and how he runs business all while there’s a search party looking for him back in his hometown. He eventually tells his father that he must go back home, because he doesn’t want them to show up there with all the illegal substances and guns around.

Brayden started to go back home but never realized that his dad had him followed all the way there. When he got home his mother’s Husband, his “father” was waiting outside talking to one of his deputies about the search party. When he realized Brayden was walking over, he got so excited thinking that he was gone for good, he tells him to go inside to his mother while he finishes up with the deputy, so he walks inside to see his mother she starts crying tears of joy. When she asked where he’s been he told her, “I found out who my real father was, why…” Her jaw dropped, and suddenly as soon as Brayden said that they hear a machine gun start firing. They run outside when the shooting stops and they see the “father” and his deputy dead on the doorstep. His mother looked at him bawling her eyes out and said “this is why I never told you who your father was” Brayden looked at her and didn’t know what to say, he started running away.

Fast forward 7 years…. Brayden ran away and never looked back, he had one mission on his mind to never be like his father, although he very much was the same heartless person. He has had run in with the cops the last 7 years mostly everything from getting caught with weed or starting a bar fight although he wasn’t old enough to drink. That all started to change when he got to Los Santo’s, he decided this is the city that he’s going to change his life around in. When he got to town the first thing, he did was go to a job fair with his cousin who he met up with Tanner Joseph. Brayden and Tanner both got a job at Weazle News which was good for them, but it didn’t last long. Brayden had a hard time even showing up to work because he believed it was boring and didn’t like the 9-5 life. Brayden had a thrill for being on the edge and Weazle News didn’t bring him that thrill. So he stopped showing up for work which eventually led up to him being fired, which he didn’t care. He took his last paycheck and blew right through it.

One day on the pier Brayden and Tanner were just chilling out fishing, and some guy with a gas mask wearing all pink came up to them. He asked Brayden if he’d like to rob a bank, and Brayden hesitated but he thought of the thrill, so he told the guy “Let me ask my cousin if he’d like to join”. Brayden talked to Tanner they both got excited because this could get a lot of money and they were down bad at the time. So, they joined in on robbing the bank and rode with Karl Patterson in his Sultan Classic. They eventually rob the bank and halfway through grabbing all the cash the cops show, everyone runs. Karl, Brayden, and Tanner all rode together in the sultan and everyone else had dirt bikes, so the cops decided to chase them. They loved it, the thrill of the cops trying to catch them, but that all came to a stop when Karl hits another cop head on doing 180KM. Everyone got scared but was a little wheezy from the car accident, so everyone runs. Eventually after a good foot chase everyone is caught and brought to mission row, where they were interrogated about what they were doing and who they were with, no one snitched. So once Karl realized that he picked up two people who weren’t afraid of the cops and wouldn’t snitched he asked Brayden and Tanner if they’d like to join The Underground, they both said yes.

The rest is to be continued…..

The Story Of Ali Valentine

This all starts on a day when Ali Valentine first fly's into the city to reunite with his brothers and sisters that already moved into the city. Ali Valentine was a good civilian, never done a crime in his life! After a few weeks of getting use to the city Ali Valentine decided to take his first job at Bayview. Ali Valentine was good at his job, so good he got employee of the week his first 3 days of working there! After a few weeks of working at Bayview his brother Jay Valentine introduced him to the gang he was in, called Rising Suns. Ali Valentine never liked the idea of being in a gang as he felt there was so much crime involved, he decided to try and distance himself from them as much as possible but when Ali wasn't on duty as Bayview he would want to hangout with his brother Jay who was always with Rising Suns. Another few weeks go by and Ali has applied for a gun license, on his way to do the firearm training he gets a call from his brother Jay asking if he would wanna rob a bank with a few Rising suns and our other brother Nick Valentine, He really didn't wanna do it but he thought, "These people are professionals at this, what can go wrong" turns out, a lot can go wrong from robbing a bank. The bank completely failed as police showed up within 2 minutes. They were all arrested and sent to DOC. Ali was thinking why would he do that and how stupid he was, then he thought he can just wait another 3 weeks to reinstate! That never happened. When they all were released from jail Ali and his brother Nick started the recruitment process to Rising Suns and within a few days Ali had almost became a hardcore criminal.

981971168_Screenshot2021-10-03160608.thumb.png.39ecbda9e503bc0c221fe564d86361e2.png

After awhile of Ali and Nick in Rising Suns and with Melody, basically there mentor, starting a new thing called "Underground" they realized they wanted more, more then just a criminal robbing stores and roaming labs! Nick instantly joined but Ali felt him leaving Rising Suns behind was like him backstabbing them, so he stayed for awhile but after all of Rising Suns high command leaving and starting there own thing, Ali realized he wanted to be Underground. One day after Ali got released from DOC he called up Melody and she came and picked him up, during that car ride Ali told her he wanted to be Underground and Melody instantly agreed.

1504570203_Screenshot2022-01-20014354.thumb.png.d7bb71a48ca0859341ee0cf0544008ec.png

With Ali being Underground that gave him a lot more opportunity's and more people to meet, he loves it here. Within a few days of Ali being in Underground he had done a lot of criminal acts, stealing police cruiser, killing cops, kidnapping people, shaving peoples head, and he loved it. Ali was having so much fun while in underground and recently been told they want him in the command spot, Ali was scared as he has never been something that big before, but he told Melody he wants the spot badly, even though he was nervous and scared, he accepted it.
