I think a good way to add this would be going into the comtacts and pressing on someones name, Then when the buttons show up for calling, messages etc.. There should be a button with maybe a gps logo named send location and it would last like 5-10 minutes from the location you sent it from. Like for example how it is done on imessages on iPhones.
