Pettsson Posted April 19, 2017 Report Posted April 19, 2017 So when I log in to the server and selected character ect. I get this red [NO VOICE] above my head for 3 seconds then it dissappears. I hold N but still dosen't work. I don't think I can hear anyone either but I'm not sure if someone spoken or not since I can't hear.(pretty obvious) So this is what I've tried: Turning off my firewall. Started the game, toggle voice off, restart. Start the game, toggle voice on, restart. started the game. Restart my PC (tried other small thing aswell) Still dosen't work. Is it something I'm missing here? Do I need a third-party-program like TaskForceRadio on Arma 2/3? Please help me someone! I just wanna start playing.
Marc Posted April 19, 2017 Report Posted April 19, 2017 There isn't any signal that indicates if you are talking or not, but you most likely are if you have the settings right. Anyways, the [no voice] dissapear after around 3 seconds when it is working. It takes those 3 seconds to load when you have connected to the server. I believe you have just been unlucky and ran into those people that dosn't choose to use VoIP to communicate and therefor haven't got any confirmation if your VoIP is working or not. There is no need for any third-party programs in order to use VoIP, all it takes is for you to allow webcam/microphone streaming on the main menu. Then you are set to go and once you connect to the server the key to talk is N. ( Make sure that you have the correct microphone input activated )
