Rajulio
I've been following along on the websites video tutorial on connecting to the eclipse servers, but now I can't find the eclipse server. I've tried searching it and I've read every single one. I don't see anything saying the server is down so I'm wondering if it's something i did or because the server is down or non existent. Flucifial
Hey Rajulio! Follow the steps ahead to successfully join the server. 1. Launch GT:MP. 2. Go to the "CONNECT" section of GT:MP. 3. Go to "Direct Connect." 4. For "IP Address" and type in: play.eclipse-rp.net.5. Go down to "Port" and type in 7001.6. Click connect. 7. When prompted to log in, click on "Register." 8. Fill in the information correctly as requested. Keep in mind you will be asked to confirm your email address to continue in the registration process. 9. After confirming your email address, you will be asked to create a character. Follow all of the character creation information as requested. 10. Click launch and begin playing! I do recommend reading through the server's rules before joining. I'd also recommend you adding EclipseRP to your favorites in GT:MP to ensure ease-of-access for future server connections. To do this, follow the following steps. 1. Press "ESC" on your keyboard. 2. Go to the "SERVER" section of GT:MP. 3. Go down to favorites and press "Add to Favorites" and the server will be added to your favorites! I, as well as everyone else apart of the EclipseRP community, look forward to role-playing with you very soon! Regards, Permuy P.S: I am not apart of the official support team in EclipseRP, I just like to help! Rajulio
Got it. Didn't realize he meant press the launch button by launch GT:MP. I work technical support so in my mind i figured he meant to... launch GT:MP, as in double click it and open it. My minds very specific because you have to be specific with customers. Thank you though it twerked

Albatrosgaminng
@Rajulio try this Follow these instructions! 1. Uninstall current version of GT-MP. 2. Download GT-MP Launcher from here: https://gt-mp.net/download/ 3. Once you have installed the GT-MP Launcher, click the launch button to load into the game to install the dependencies and script hook. 4. Go to: C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc and look for the hosts file. 5. Drag the hosts file to your desktop 6. Open the hosts file with Notepad and add the following line to the end of the file. 127.0.0.1 master.mta-v.net 7. Drag the hosts file back to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc 8. Launch the game again and connect to the server with Quick Connect! How should the hosts file look? The line above can be added at the bottom of the file.
