The LSEMS Interview is divided into two parts, you may do your OOC interview and then your IC interview or the opposite:

In Character Interview (IC)
  • This will take place inside the Central Los Santos Medical Center. You will be assessed just like most job interviews in regards to your roleplay abilities.

Out of Character Interview ((OOC))
  • This will take place on the Eclipse Teamspeak 3 Server and will take place on one of the Interview Room channels. If you are awaiting interview please use the "LSEMS Interview Waiting Room" channel and a member of LSEMS Human Resources should be with you when the time permits.
  • You would also receive instructions and details on how to get this interview if you are accepted into the interview stage of your LSEMS application.
  • During your interview, the interviewer will be checking on your microphone quality, your ability to speak English and your knowledge and grasp of the Eclipse Server Rules and General Role-Play terms.

If you pass both your interviews, you will receive in your application a "Pending Contract" status.

The training process for the LSEMS starts once the contract for the invited individual has been signed and their EMS badge received, this involves the signing of paperwork as well as the invitation to the faction and obtaining permission(s) and invite(s).

The LSEMS training program is an important factor in becoming a part of the LSEMS and starting your job as an EMR. During the training program, you will be introduced and taught basic medical roleplay by certified Field Trainers.
  • Introduction - You will be introduced to the LSEMS and be handed a handbook and paperwork that you must read through.
  • Phase 1 - You will be introduced to basic commands and radio calls.
  • Phase 2 - You will be introduced to basic treatment and start with providing basic treatment.
  • Phase 3 - You will be encounter obscure injuries and will begin field work in order to work independently.
  • Pre-Certification - You will be preparing for your Certification at this point you should be feeling confident in treating common injuries on the field.
  • Certification - You are on your own. Your trainer will only be tasked with assessing you; they may give you hints or tips but you are at your own initiative.

As an Emergency Medical Responder or EMR the following will apply when training or taking your LSEMS Certification.
  • If you PASS your LSEMS Certification, you will then be certified as an Emergency Medical Technician - Basic or EMT-B and can proceed in going on-duty on your own without a trainer.
  • If you FAIL your LSEMS Certification, you are allowed to prepare for one more Certification, and unfortunately; if you are not prepared for your retake, failing will result in being discharged for failing to complete your training.
  • If you FAIL your LSEMS Pre-Certification, you are allowed to prepare for one more Pre-Certification, your trainer would also note down and recommend your next plan of action you should take before taking your LSEMS Certification and unfortunately; if you are not prepared for your retake, failing will result in being discharged for failing to complete your training.
  • If you FAIL to complete your training in the time frame given, have not submitted a leave of absence or have not reached out to member of Training Staff/Command. We will consider this as you are no longer interested and will result in discharged for failing to complete your training.
