Davis1905 Posted August 30, 2017 Report Posted August 30, 2017 On start up my game crashes with a memory issue asking me to reboot. I have tried replacing the game config files through open IV but still isnt working can anyone help??
Pazz Posted August 30, 2017 Report Posted August 30, 2017 Do you have the Steam version of the game or do you use SC? 1
Pazz Posted August 30, 2017 Report Posted August 30, 2017 What fixed this for me was verifying the integrity of the game files and then putting the backup files in the folder again after it was done. 1
Davis1905 Posted August 30, 2017 Author Report Posted August 30, 2017 I will give it a go now thanks bud!!
Davis1905 Posted August 30, 2017 Author Report Posted August 30, 2017 it hasnt fixed it unfortunately
Davis1905 Posted August 30, 2017 Author Report Posted August 30, 2017 cant even load the game now as it says exited unexpectedly
Pazz Posted August 30, 2017 Report Posted August 30, 2017 That's really odd.. the only fix that worked for me was reverifying the game files. It's rather old but maybe this works for you? 1
AnnoyingOne Posted August 30, 2017 Report Posted August 30, 2017 Try playing singleplayer before downgrading, we need to know if this is issue with gta v itself, or the downgrade.
Davis1905 Posted August 30, 2017 Author Report Posted August 30, 2017 okay thanks im tryin a fresh install to sort all my folders out so can start again
Davis1905 Posted August 31, 2017 Author Report Posted August 31, 2017 right i have done fresh install game loaded fine! soon as i opened the launcher it asked me to downgrade my version and once i did that it wont load single player on multiplayer and just crashes.. any Help??
AnnoyingOne Posted August 31, 2017 Report Posted August 31, 2017 Did it ask you to downgrade or to backup your version? You get the scripthook critical error?
Davis1905 Posted August 31, 2017 Author Report Posted August 31, 2017 Backup I believe and then I get the scripthook error
AnnoyingOne Posted August 31, 2017 Report Posted August 31, 2017 Okay, now downgrade the game by using this files https://mega.nz/#!pShHHb6C!wDz4oDBk_Y7ZNAqPL3iCbvpeKIBqCfg_eqVuBN-HNxU Download the files and extract the contents of it in the gta v installation folder. Launch gt-mp and have fun 1
