Masked player ID

So currently, the way masks work is that they hide aliases, but the player ID stays on the person. The ID is vital for player reports and any /ldo roleplay. The downside of this is that it does provide the possibility to metagame from both LEOs and Criminals, by using the ID to identify individuals or use the player menu to see if you can identify the person.

My suggestion would be to change the way masking works. When a player puts on a mask, they will have a new ID on their head. All commands that involve IDs, such as PM or /ldo, would go to the person regardless if he is wearing a mask or not.

So if a player logs on, he gets an ID assigned to him - 10. He also gets a masked ID for the same log in, that would be a random ID from the current ID pool - M20.

So the player will have ID 10 while he is not wearing a mask and M20 when he has a mask on.

The masked ID will also not work on the MDC, because if you know who the masked person is, at that point you do not need the ID, while you can still /ldo the masked ID. This will also allow people to better blend in, meaning that if you run away from the cops or a gang, you have a better chance to avoid them if they did not get a good look at you.

I understand that using the ID is considered metagaming, but people will subconsciously use that information, even if its to a small degree as talking differently to the person.

I would like to know what you guys think and what kind of issues you think this could run into.
