HaminLord
Date and time (provide timezone): 22/Mar/2020 Character name: Ilai_Daniels Issue/bug you are reporting: Posting a backup beacon in a cruiser or any other LSPD vehicle (Might be the same for ambulances) still works even while there is no GPS inside of the vehicle, although it is static and doesn't move as it does when the GPS is in the vehicle. Expected behavior: I reckon its not supposed to be a thing as it doesn't make much sense for a vehicle without its GPS to still be able to make backup beacons. Evidence, notes worth mentioning, steps to replicate: Take out the GPS from the faction vehicle you're in, and try creating a backup beacon. Although it wouldn't move along the vehicle as it usually does, it pin-points the location of the vehicle the moment you create the beacon, and as such, can be theoretically abused by posting a backup beacon every few seconds to see the cruiser's location at that moment in time. Xoza
This is RPd as a 'lowjack'. Something realistically available in every government vehicle installed under a panel in the trunk. Similar to your /showvehicle command for your personal vehicle where the vehicle can still be moved after a ping but the location remains static. While it may be unintended, I believe it should remain as is, multiple pings still take time to trigger, respond and get to while the vehicle could be long gone.
