Trash bins and a car market makeover

Recommended Posts

Hello everyone, just woke up and two random but useful ideas popped in my head.

The first one would be trash cans. We all know the problem at the clothing stores and everywhere on the map. In my opinion trash bins would be an awesome fix to it, plus it would add more roleplay to the server. This could add more activities for garbage truck drivers or property owners, because someone would need to clean them, or it could just automaticly despawn in some ammount of time. Also it would need to come with more items you could throw away, for example empty bottles, burger wraps and other stuff, which you would get after eating or drinking and get annoyed that they take over your inventory space. It could contain like an inventory style system, the same like the bag or a crate has but with much more space.

Second idea would improve car markets for a bit. So my idea is that it shouldn't automaticaly sell your vehicle to other players, but you would have to do it yourself. Basically what I' am thinking is that after you put your car up for sale, it should have its estimated price and the owners phone number. That would add bunch of roleplay as well, since people could negotiate the price, let other people test drive and so on. To avoid scammers, server could add like a "vehicle registration place" which would be a NCZ, and people would come by there to safely sell their vehicles.

Would love to see you commenting your opinions on this.  The main goal of these ideas is to add more roleplay to the server.

(sorry if any of this was suggested already, or is imposible to make due to rage or other problems, haven't really made my research first)

+1 to the first idea. There could be plenty of trash cans around the city as well, at the bank, mission row, sheriff's station, lsc, bayview, etc.

+1/-1 to the second. I dont think we should add a NCZ for it. Maybe instead just add the owner's phone number above the car so that you can call them to negotiate a new price.

Aggree with you! But then a little more work should be done to the market as well, the problem is that they wouldn't want to negotiate the price because there is the tax already. Plus they would need to reput their vehicle on the market to change its price and imo most people would just do a /transfervehicle at the bank, that means that the markets wouldn't be used anymore. Thats why I thought about a new NCZ, which would be used for my idea of the new market and make things a little more realistic. I think they should either leave the market as it is, or do a complete rework of it. Thanks for your opinion, means a lot to me!

The first suggestion is cool. An item that has like 0.1 volume and occupies 1 slot in the inventory would be perfect but I hope that driving into them will not stall your engine like most items do.

Seeing people getting killed by clothes and fishing rods is kinda scuffed.

Haven't run into that bug yet, can't it be fixed by the server developers? Was it ever reported?

Thanks for your response, would love to hear more opinions on this!
