NotMattch Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago Player(s) being reported: Chase_Douglas Date of interaction reported: 06/07/2026 Unix time stamp from HUD: 1783304876 Your character name: Joe Ryan Other player(s) involved: Thomas_Lugo & Maddy_Farrell Specific rule(s) broken: Deathmatching - Attacking a player without a proper in-character (IC) motive and/or prior escalation. How did the player break the rule(s)? (300 words maximum) Was observing a situation at Legion Square when another player pulled up and opened fire at them. I jumped on my bike and drove up to the other person, Maddy_Farrell, to see if they wanted a lift out of here quickly, 30 seconds after the guy that actually shot had left, both myself and Maddy was shot down by SD. We'd have had no interaction prior to this at all. Chase_Douglas was asked to save the video as he stated it was due to a miscommunication via TAC, but I'm unsure how, as both Maddy and I look nothing alike, nor do we look similar to the shooter. Even so, that doesn't grant DM rights upon either of us. Evidence of rule breach Un-blurred video can be sent to the staff handling the report due to it containing staff chat etc. Quote
Dp_FQ400 Posted 4 hours ago Report Posted 4 hours ago Hi, Chase Douglas here, very weird situation. I had been active on this scene prior to ever interacting with the people that were downed during this scene. Couple things to point out here. During my POV the tac radio comms are clear. We had been anticipating a strike to free my suspect in custody. I was alerted long before to prepare to convoy to MD with our suspects and anticipate an ambush. We had been getting ambushed and basically hunted for the last 35 minutes so tensions were high for us as SD/PD. Regarding this scene. This was very poor communication on tactical radio. When I later asked who it was that said it, no one fessed up. In my POV at around 19 seconds you can hear someone over radio say "it's the BF and another guy". As I turned the corner it appeared that the two people there matched the call out I got. It also looked like they were attempting to run after shooting. Which is why I engaged. The reason I cleared shortly after was again due to the communication over the radio. If it were not for the callouts made in the situation. I would in no scenario just open fire on civilians or criminals without cause. This was very unfortunate. But I do not believe I violated DM rules here as my character was under the impression that the two people on the east side of legion square were shooting cops. My POV: Thank you to the admin taking time to review this and thank you to the others on scene for the communication. Kindly, Chase Douglas / Damian Price Quote
