Fear Roleplay (FRP) Players must prioritize their character's life and act as if they have only one life. This means taking realistic precautions and avoiding situations that would knowingly put their character's life at unnecessary risk. Players whose life is in direct danger must RP adequate fear and are expected to comply with demands when faced with a weapon. Choosing not to surrender is only appropriate if you have a reasonable means of resistance or escape (e.g., possessing a weapon or a viable and immediately accessible getaway). If you do choose not to comply, you must be prepared to RP the full consequences of your actions. Simply attempting to run on foot without such reasonable means does not qualify. In situations where players find themselves outnumbered (ex. 3v1) should show adequate fear for their life and comply with demands given. If an attacker lowers their weapon to type, victims who were under fear RP remain as so. A player is not showing proper fear if they run while on foot and a weapon is aimed at them at close range, or if they drive into an active shootout more than once without the intent of providing cover or fleeing with it. Quote 10. Non-Roleplay (Non-RP) Non-Roleplay Non-Roleplay behavior is considered as actions that are unrealistic or promote poor quality roleplay. It's difficult to interpret or understand what good roleplay can be sometimes, and we aim to steer players in the direction we want them to go through our server rules. Players are welcome to speak to staff for guidance in regard to roleplay. Some examples (not exhaustive) of Non-RP: Ignoring roleplay, such as when someone is trying to grab you through the usage of /me’s. Using law enforcement as a tool by criminals against other criminals to disrupt their roleplay at static criminal locations. For example, calling 911 to report a gang at a lab. Law enforcement should also disregard this type of information if they are aware that a criminal is giving it to them. Static criminal locations = areas that are static by script, e.g., drug labs and non-player-owned chop shops. Quote 8. IC and OOC Interactions Communication & Foreign Languages Text chat, VOIP, radio, phone, and commands like /me or /do are for In-Character content only. Mixing Out-of-Character content into these areas is considered metagaming. How did the player break the rule(s)? (300 words maximum) Thank you to the Eclipse RP staff for taking the time to review this report and the attached evidence. Following a shootout with Lost MC, Ulla (ID 68) arrived in a vehicle to assist her gang. I pointed a heavy weapon at her and repeatedly ordered her to exit the vehicle. She instead attempted to flee, resulting in a short pursuit before her vehicle stalled. Once stopped, I again gave clear demands for her to exit the vehicle and get into the trunk of the Coquette D5. Rather than complying, she began repeatedly acting as though she did not know which vehicle I was referring to despite multiple clear verbal and text instructions, delaying the roleplay. We attempted to knock her unconscious so we could place her into the trunk. Due to script limitations preventing punches from connecting, we used a vehicle to knock her over so that we could melee before placing her into the trunk and transporting her to a drug lab. At the lab, multiple members of my group attempted to remove her from the trunk using /do and /me. She repeatedly responded with /do and /me messages relating to her injuries instead of responding to or progressing the roleplay. After approximately 5–8 minutes of stalling, she exited the trunk but refused to use /down, preventing any continuation of the robbery interaction. After several more minutes of attempting to continue the scene, we shot her for failing to comply. Immediately afterward, while at a criminal hotspot, she called 911 stating, "Being DM and killed bleeding out help," despite being at a location where criminals are not expected to involve law enforcement and using the term "DM" in an IC fashion. I would also like to note that Ulla is a member of Lost MC, an established faction on the server. Because established factions are generally expected to maintain a high standard of roleplay, I found the repeated stalling, refusal to progress the scene, and the use of OOC chat during the interaction particularly disappointing. I am including this only as additional context and not as the basis of my report, as the rule violations themselves are demonstrated in the attached evidence. I believe the attached video demonstrates the FearRP violations, repeated stalling and Mixing through OOC chat as well as /mes/dos, and the Non-RP behavior described above. Why did you type "yea rp u fuks" and "ur just a cheater" in OOC chat? Why did you call 911 while at a static lab location and stated "Being DM and (...)"? dori12 Posted 2 hours ago Report Posted 2 hours ago she was completely ignoring our demands with gun pointed to her. we didnt want to shoot her down near the police station she led us to, she continued to frp by running away from us while on gun point so I decided to give her a few light taps with the car so the boys can knock her out and rp can continue and this whole horrible rp scenario will end. all of this wouldn't happen if she didnt break multiple rules ruining our rp. those car taps are committed by LEO's all the time in order to stop running criminals in a proper rp scenarios. (btw this is not the first time she behaving like this so I knew what I was dealing with) Quote
