(300 words maximum) I was conducting a traffic stop on Malcolm Tanaka [ID 31] who is with Kudo Kai and he began evading, During the pursuit black cars started getting into the pursuit line but due to a lack of units nothing was done. He eventually crashed after running into a car and it appeared as if it might have been a code 0 however i guess he reconnected quick enough and was further launched forward from the bike. I tased him and placed him in cuffs. This is when Rooks (My pov will confirm it was rooks and Kudo Kai.) decided to get out of their vehicles and start shooting me. This pursuit started with a kudo kai member, and had nothing to do with rooks whatsoever, they had 0 reason to get into the pursuit or inject themselves into the situation especially over a simple evasion. After i died Rooks continued to hunt cops that attempted to get to the scene to grab my body or Malcolm however they were shot at and tried to leave, Rooks followed due to the officer (Nathan Callen) shooting at rooks when getting on the scene. They chased him to MRPD and into the garage killing him (you will have to ask for his POV) they also killed 2 officers that just clocked on shift and had not been able to see what was going on. I did tell ID 25 and ID 31 to save there pov neither responded to the pm. Evidence of rule breach I can provide a link to the POV to the handling member of staff as it contains some staff chat. My game didn't drop connection at all, my frames just tanked because of GPU lag and my game froze. It’s called desync, it happens all the time on the server, and trying to spin a hardware lag spike into an OOC rule break is just ridiculous. You can literally ask any LEO player who has ever been in a chase with me (Malcolm Tanaka)—they all know my game stutters and desyncs heavily whenever I'm flying through the city at 160+ kph because my GPU is limited. Also, the Rooks didn’t randomly inject themselves into the scene. Kudo Kai and Rooks have an established working relationship and alliance. They saw my white BF400, which basically only Kudo uses, and they backed up their ally. It is literally not against the rules to back up your alliance in a chase when you're trying to save them from going to jail. Your entire DM and NRP report is literally just you whining because you didn't have enough backup. You don't see crims running to the forums crying when it's 19 cops swarming 1 criminal. You guys chose to engage me while you were short on units, and you paid the price for it when my boys showed up. That’s an IC tactical mistake on your end. LEO on this server already has a massive reputation for trash quality RP and using completely unreasonable tactics, and this report is the perfect example of that. It’s honestly sad seeing reports like this get filed just because your egos got destroyed after getting wiped by a group. It’s unprofessional and unreasonable, stop wasting staff time because you lost a situation. Quote
excorcist Posted 1 hour ago Report Posted 1 hour ago (edited) the rooks saw an aggressive action towards one of there alliance by an active chase. my involvement ended the time i got on my buddies bike and drove away. the rest after that is not my involvement. im sorry you guys didnt like the way things ended but crims experience this every day due to leos questionable bad quality rp. that engagement costed you your lives anyways. your bad ic tactical error shouldnt hold us liable because you made a shitty judgement. grow up and move on with your rp.
