Dirty Mike Posted April 13 Report Posted April 13 (edited) I think it would be nice to see more cars added throughout the city it would make it feel more populated, add random items into them too, sometimes a chance of finding an illegal weapon or items you could sell at the pawn shop. Could be another way for criminals as well to do car break ins to make money if they don't have the means to chop a car. I know more cars in the city can affect performance but maybe this increased car spawn could be affected by player count? Idea: if a npc spawned car gets pick locked and items taken out, 4 minutes after an item is taken out if its not hot wired and stolen ,their could be a chance of the "owner" calling police to report his car being broken into so police could be on the lookout in that area for someone breaking into cars Edited April 13 by Dirty Mike Quote
Daxu Posted April 24 Report Posted April 24 If I'm not mistaken, NPC cars (the ones used for chopping) spawn rate is based on the number of online players. I would like to see more interactions with the world though. Maybe finding dirty guns in trashcans or something goofy like that. 1 Quote
Ritchie Stones Posted April 26 Report Posted April 26 the spaw of vehicles addapted to to player count, i find to be a bit toxic, when low player cound it takes 2 hours to fidn a car, and when high its 20 mins, however after the most resent high and people logging out is your best chance getting your cars, i find reasoning into thing strategy but on the other side people from other parts of the world interacting with midnight get punished, why not have "some abundance" for those who wake up early, being dedicated" that itself should be rewarding, Quote
Daxu Posted April 26 Report Posted April 26 1 hour ago, Ritchie Stones said: why not have "some abundance" I think that is how the mechanic is intended. The spawn rate is high at high pop because many people steal the cars so there must be enough proportional to the player count where any player still might spend 5-10 minutes searching for one. Same goes at low pop, not many people stealing so no need for a crazy abundance, but still enough so that people can spend 5-10 minutes searching. Maybe that spawn rate needs to be looked at if there are really not enough to stay proportional to the high pop times. - I do not agree with rewarding anyone arbitrarily though, unless I'm misreading this part: 1 hour ago, Ritchie Stones said: being dedicated" that itself should be rewarding, The benefit from being dedicated to the video game in real life is the greater amount of natural in-character rewards you can acquire for being in the game longer.
