imran Posted November 5, 2025 Report Posted November 5, 2025 (edited) hello, i will make it short and simple, current update prices are not logical. give the ability for players to fill a form to refund the buyout vehicles cost either its CASH or Credits, so no one will get damaged for previous management mistakes. in the past, players made purchase decision based on simple tunning costs, now its 10 times more. Timmaayy Posted November 5, 2025 Report Posted November 5, 2025 Players have been refunded the cost for the modifications under the old prices, as per the announcement Quote

So now i have 43 cars looking fancy and i kinda have to upgrade them otherwise the other mods like bumpers, paint, lights, tires is all for nothing. So i am indirectly forced to reupgrade all my cars if i dont want to lose that money Quote
Josh Posted November 6, 2025 Report Posted November 6, 2025 (edited) If they remove all parts saved i feel that will lead to more issues. People own a lot of cars and I personally don’t think they would want to spend their time having to redo their paint. The only things mainly affected by this is the Engine and this makes it better would you rather repaint, modify, tune all 43 of yours cars? When you can just tune it not having to deal with going back through reselecting all the mods, Cause I for sure don’t want to do that Edited November 6, 2025 by alcomein5 Quote

So inthe past we used to pay 100k to max a vehivle performance including the hsw upgrade, these vehicles without hsw are slow and not worth to invest in them, for lacareuse and niobe and stinger gto, we now need to pay extra 1.5m,which is crazy amount of money for this economy. The update is good for low end vehicles, where its 80percent cheaper to upgrade a car, while its the same for mid range vehicles, but for high end ones its 10 times double, in other words warner owners now are happy while old players now have a full assets wipe. Josh Posted November 6, 2025 Report Posted November 6, 2025 Short terms for me -1 the point is to make it more expensive to upgrade these high tier vehicles. People use vehicles like the niobe and LC because it has this and it led to several pursuits of these high tier vehicles. I think most crims that been in Eclipse for a long time has the money and time. this aims to bring back usage and more better pursuits and helps the economy as the economy is needed work on. 1 Quote

LEOs? what's that will do with my current suggestion man, soon there will be only LEOs and nerdy RPers from mechanics will be on the server, u will see people standing there doing nothing with the lack of borring activities full of DM. right now only old players are keeping the serrver UP, no new players are sticking to it, after this update, even old players won't stick. imran Posted November 7, 2025 Author Report Posted November 7, 2025 Imagine paying 50,000 credits for a Niobe that can only reach 165 kph, or 1.000.000 lacareuse that only do 175kph. I swear, this update is far from logic. If either the Lecareuse or the Niobe are causing unfair chases between criminals and cops, then they shouldn’t have been added to the server in the first place. The HSW upgrade has already been factored into the cost of these expensive cars. In conclusion, I think the main issue is that GTA Online vehicles simply don’t fit RP standards. I don’t blame management for trying to improve RP quality, but these improvements shouldn’t come at the expense of the player base due to previous mistakes. The best solution, in my opinion, would be to remove the entire HSW system and refund players who own vehicles with these modifications ,at least for the more expensive ones like the Niobe and Lecareuse. Additionally, adding real-life vehicles that can be purchased with credits would create more meaningful ways to spend money, instead of relying on standard GTA V cars. With the last DLC coming next month and GTA 6 unlikely to release on PC until at least 2030, I really hope the server management focuses on making long-term decisions rather than short-term ones. With all due respect. Quote
